We can't even take care of our own here , how does our government come up with ways to support these people. But you know if we shut them borders down solid , all the resources that were helping them would disappear and we would still have homeless people and veterans not getting help and I don't think it would matter who's president because we've had these problems with every president I can remember the #s change a little but still the same headaches.

I read an article recently that Canada is running their immigration like a shady fly by night credit card company. It doesn't matter to them about honoring the terms as long as they can get enough people to sign up. But soon enough (and it's starting to happen) word is going to get out that it's not really that great and the number of people signing on is going to plummet.\nThe Canadian government doesn't care about the immigrants as people, all they are is numbers to keep our overall GDP propped up, meanwhile per capita GDP is in a freefall.

I think the biggest issue is allowing corporations or living people outside the area owning property. They can afford to let the property sit empty or not rent at all to push the rest of the property up. If the owner was a small business and local this wouldn't be an issue because they couldn't afford to let the property sit. And hopefully they would also care enough about their neighbor as not to screw them. A corporation wouldn't care.

This is what happens when you don't have a social safety net and a socioeconomic system (capitalism) that cares only about profit. Housing is a basic human need and should be a basic human right. Housing should be built for people to live in, not for investors to make a profit. Unfortunately, nothing is done for the common good - everything for profit. A reset is already overdue.

I moved out of Canada in 2023 due to the high living costs, after nearly a decade. Taxes are super high as you start making a bit more of money, healthcare is precarious (talk about preventative medicine… non-existing in Canada) and the real estate market is just the cherry on top. Making 200k plus I couldn’t buy a condo anywhere for me and my wife without accruing a lot of debt, at least a 2/3 bedroom as we both work from home. Even cities like Calgary, known before for cheap rent, have doubled the prices. \n\nToronto and Vancouver are blatantly used for money laundering and the government doesn’t care. Prices as a result have super inflated and people doing any type of decent work are the ones to pay for it. \n\nCanada is amazing if you are either VERY poor or VERY rich. The rest is better off moving elsewhere

It's because of USA open boarders. Remember most of them will become democratic voters?. This will ensure that our democratic party wins again (Election) but is it worth the victory? I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

First of all, we should be careful with the use of the word “hijrat”. There are countries(I happen to be born and brought up in one of them) where muslims actually have a history of persecution, often resulting in riots, deaths. If you compare with Prophet Mohd. saws’s hijrat, it was a result of prosecution, suffering and life risk. Relatively speaking, sometimes our first world problems may look big, but they’re not really, compared to the state of Muslim lives in other countries. \nI have lived in Dubai(2 yrs), US(8 yrs) and Canada(1+ yr) and I want to say that Canada is a beautiful, diverse country for people from all faiths and backgrounds, so much better than what I have experienced living in the above mentioned countries and my own.\nThe grass is always greener on the other side and often we don’t understand these things until we experience them on our own. Make sure that you guys do extensive research in every aspect of your future lives and not just those top reasons mentioned in your video - for each of the probable countries on your list. May Allah guide you to the right path.

I'm not Muslim but I have family and extended family that are. I'm in Ireland, there is a large Muslim community in Dublin. My grand nephew's is named Salah. He is adorable, they spend most of the year in Kuwait and school breaks in Ireland. We are Turks but do not have Turkish nationality but when we go for religious holidays in Istanbul I feel completely different, it just feels like I have to live there near the mosque. MashaAllah, u guys r such an amazing couples and parents. I know this is not an easy decision, but Allah is with u and I really stand and look up to u. Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. May Allah bless u all with his blessings, protect your family from evil eyes, fill your life with joy, happiness,love and peace and May Allah make this journey and life easy for u and hereafter. ❤ Your family and especially your little kids

As a Christian woman what is being taught in schools is distressing to me to. Why do we have to see other people’s sexuality/ orientation on display everywhere all the time? I don’t care what others do but in public?

Canada has a massive hypocrisy that counters their 'inclusive' image. They are in fact more exclusive than most places, and extremely elitist, and discriminatory. Their immigration does not help matters by having a system that is SO insanely classist, that really only rich people can enter, and even then, it may not be enough. I read about a millionaire that was rejected entry, because they had a deaf child! Can you imagine?? So they are also extremely ableist as well, and lacking logic, as a millionaire can obviously afford their own child's medical care, and what does it matter anyway when Canada is supposed to have national health coverage?? So nuts. Yeah, they don't want to own that. They just love to call out the USA, whose immigration rules are FAR more lax than Canada's, or really most countries for that matter. Most people are totally ignorant about how the USA system actually works. Anyone can move to the USA. We let TOO MANY people in. Canada only wants young, rich, successful people to enter their country. Everyone else can just drop dead for all they care, and hey, with the laws about 'voluntary life ending', and how they are grossly encouraging that now for anyone who may be old, depressed, or otherwise 'expendable', what do we expect?

Israel wants Gaza, they wanted to scare people to leave, other Muslim counties closed their doors not because they don’t care , but because they believe Palestinians belong on their own land. And since they have no place to go, Israel has no choice them to cleanse them of their existence with force ! Genocide ! Very sad !

The definition of a canadain is an american without a gun and public health care... otherwise it is hard to tell the difference.... Canada has almost 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating... The province of Quebec which is still part of canada (don't tell them that) has the language police to be as anti-american and any democratic as possible, they only tolerate english if it is in US$ and tax other taxes with the most expensive bloated government of any state north of Mexico. The cartels are envious... all things purchased are imported (except animals and greenhouse tomatoes)are american with the exchange rate of almost 33%... If you are a doctor or nurse or medical specialist trained in western medicine like Europe, Australia, etc. You almost have to start over.... SAD. Like América, big cars/trucks are king, public transit is not a thing... yeh there are some buses in a few major cities, more of an after thought... The only positive thing about coming from another country climate is you have something to compare with.... Personally i was born here so where do i go... A few friends have travelled to the US but have not returned... its warmer in Texas i guess... Canadians are suspicious of Asians because they come with money and buy up property esp in Vancouver/Toronto hence the concern... As for you making friends, you seem to be very Americanized, speak English well and not so traditional except for being married... you would make a lot of people comfortable among traditional Canadians... just my after thoughts...

I love people who complain about health care when most of the countries you come from don't even provide health care.

The Arab world are using the Palestinian people as martyrs. They won't take them in as refugees because they don't want to deal with the economic and social outcomes that EU and US have with asylum seekers. But they also don't won't to help them fight either. They will sit there and watch Palestinians boil in a pot. Then blame Israel when they are done, and do nothing to help. Some pals. Even Iran with the most to gain will do nothing, because they don't care about Palestinians just regional power.

Hardly anyone here cares about why they’re fleeing their own country. No one wants to have to do that. They know their lives will be a struggle here adjusting but at least they aren’t there with whatever all problems they’re dealing with. If our country totally fell apart and threats of dying were happening, I wonder how these same people would feel about relocating to survive with their kids and parents.

Why and how the great, rich North America got to this state of misery in 21 century?! What are the real reasons? For example why in 21 century there are more mental disorder patients whom are not supported by a rich , resourceful government and eventually end up to the streets?! Why there was not such problem in 19 or 20 th centuries? How the society was taking care of them back then? Or, why when people lose their physical ability to work, there is not a system of permanent support for them? Why there are not enough houses built for those who have been disadvantaged for real reasons? I mean most of these homeless people are not addicted. A lot of them are willing to work and contribute to society, yet there are not enough support for getting them back to a normal lifestyle! Why rich governments are not making their countries a better , healthier, safer place for their citizens? But only having talks in wef conferences! It sounds all fishy and intentional to me. They should have come up with ways of solutions to end this. Yet we see it getting deeper and bigger. Isn’t it weird that over 350 000 people are homeless in a vast, rich country such as Canada?!

So a land is worth more than a life. What use would that land be to anyone who has lost everything? Arabs only care about the land, and it's historical significance. They don't give two cents about the people.

If Hamas really cares about its people then they would stop taking the foreign aid and hoarding the supplies for themselves. \n\nHamas hates Jews more than they love their own people. And the whole Arab world is inline with Hamas. \n\nThe only way anything changes in the Middle East is if the rest of the Arab world condemns this hatred of Jews and allows for the Palestinians to have a government that cares about them rather than cares about the destruction of Israel.

Ok now give them the option to move to SA and get citizenship and what percentage do you think will make the move? The Saudis know what every other non western country knows. You don’t invite problem people to your home. Diversity is not a strength and you can not take care of numberless people and still thrive

So the answer he should have given was “No I’m not” because he knows that all the aid for Gaza goes directly to Hamas and is rarely given to its people. All the pipes and equipment to bring water is lathed and turned into rockets to be shot randomly at whoever they think they can kill that day. This has been the same story for almost 15 years. If you care about Palestinian people then don’t support the terrorists who steal from them and want their people to be martyrs.

This adamant attitude did not allow it resolved this issue since it's beginning, if Arabs had accepted two states then, not only people of palestine had peace but Israel would be lot smaller in size that is of today with no possibility to expand. But no ...in stead they chose to war with Israel because Arabs don't care for people of Palestine.

Too bad we tried that and we’re still attacked by terrorist…they act like Israel has been occupying Gaza since 1948, it’s a false narrative and yes if they did care, the Arab nations that initiated the war would help the people instead of turning their back on them in order to make Israel the oppressor.
