too many coming in at once do not have the chance to assimilate into our culture. too many at once creates a shadow country where pple stay with the familiar and of course want to replicate what they are familiar with. this isnt rocket science its common sense. being against current immigration practices doesnt mean anti immigrant. in a way everyone is being set up here.

Canadian immigration needs to come from Europe. Culturally, this is the only way forward.

Similar issues here in the US, only ours are pouring in over the southern border with Mexico. Hardly any speak English nor have any real interest to, as well as no interest in assimilation. They live in their own little communities surround by their own kind, 90% being illegal as hell. We have immigrant problems of the less legal type here. They just come on over. Parasites upon our welfare system, the left takes advantage of them as future D voters & to bulk up their delegates which are based on population. Look at the sanctuary cities. Overrun with crime. But when we ship them to marthas vineyard or nyc or dc, where these wealthy leftists reaide, then oh no suddenly theres a problem ? they dont want them in their own cities their own back yards. F'ing hypocrites. It really does give evidence to the great replacement theory. Look it up if you don't already know. Theres a very real reason for all this happening the way it is.

Without a LOT of immigration the truth is that western countries like Canada and most European countries would simply collapse in a few decades for the problem of demographic decrease... My european country of 10 million habitants is being literally 'invaded' by a huge influx of immigrants as we speak and to be honest there is no other way to make the country viable in the long term. We the western people stopped having kids decades ago and now there's no turning back...

Mass Entry is just a soft way to say Invasion. As a registered Democrat my vote hinges on border policy this vote, the Democrats need to stop being soft and adress this aggressively or they're going to absolutely lose Democratic votes.

As a Canadian I can say I have no issue with immigrants or anyone trying to seek a better life as I am the son of immigrants. My issue is with our government taking in way more than our economy and infrastructure can handle at a time where it's already under strain. \n\nAdd to the fact they're almost all from the same race, it makes certain areas lose all diversity and a ripe ground for racist sentiments. It's not uncommon where I can be in a grocery store or restaurant and every single customer and cashier is an Indian. At the very least let's diversify where we are taking them all in from. \n\nThe cynical side of me makes me think they are desired by corporations because these people are seen as an easy resource to exploit since they're willing to put up with more and receive less.

The government told people that there is a housing shortage AND let in a record number of new people. How are people supposed to react? Imagine if there was a famine and the leader said “hey, let’s go share our food with somebody else”. You can’t reasonably expect people not to react this way given the narrative that the government itself is putting forth.

Wanting to vet people coming into your country is not racist or even anti immigrant. We all want to be safe but allowing anyone in is not the way to do it.

Another factor that might contribute here is the way the canadian embassies qualify the immigrants. I heard of a news sometime ago wherein an indian exchange student was accepted on a fully falsified document. I just dont remember what it was, but I saw it on youtube and on the news.

The problem is when there is NO where to live.. and no where to work other than service.. that is the problem.. this doesn’t help anyone. It’s just another way for elite to pocket more and more money.

No standards in terms of who we bring into the country, it's mostly people who are here to exploit the system or don't contribute in any way. It's just the government doing this unchecked and banks and others lobbying for it because it's just untapped source of victims they can exploit as well. Then there just isn't enough housing available, that's no secret. So for people like this Daniel Bernhard guy to say it isn't the massive influx of people causing any issues is incredibly disingenuous. \nIf you increase immigration, be more selective and not all from the same country. There needs to be more control over the entire immigration system so it doesn't spiral out of control and now everyone is suffering, not just those coming to this country.

The bottom line is, Canada _is_ an immigrant country: we will keep accepting immigrants and international students and refugees and asylum seekers in the years to come, that’s just what Canada is about, but I do believe the government needs to manage the flow in a _smarter_ way - policies and regulations that both fulfill Canada’s labor needs, but also obviously do NOT cause the rest of the population to struggle to literally just survive.

The woman talking about public housing programs has no idea whats going on. There are a million various immigrants a year coming in through all the various programs. There is no public housing program that could handle that. a decade of output from a housing program wouldn't handle a single year of this immigration. The private sector building housing is the only way to proceed, but immigration is too high to ever catch up.

We had an Indian family with 2 smalll kids freeze to death a few winters back trying to cross the border on the Canadian Prairies. It was almost 100 degrees when they left home from India and 24 hours later they were exposed to -35 and didn't have proper clothing. It was only a 2 mile walk but they barely made it half way before they were overtaken by the cold.

I don’t understand this “reporting”. If I go to Chinatown and become enraged after seeing majority Chinese population I’d say something is wrong with me. Go to a small town in Alberta, Manitoba etc you’ll see majority white people. People in the comments keep saying “Canadian” what is a Canadian. I am a permanent resident of Canada and born in the US. I live right outside of Montreal. I actually went to Plattsburgh, NY three times in past two months and each time while on my way back from Plattsburgh, I would encounter several migrants at the bus stop shown on the video. In one of my encounters I saw a group of them wearing ankle monitors. I would see vans standing at the gas station picking up and dropping off migrants. These drivers are helping the problem just to make money. I just heard on the news that greyhound changed the bus stop in Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and I wonder if it's because of the illegal migrants. I have been going to Plattsburgh by bus for many years and I've never seen migrants inundate the area as I have in the past year. I knew about Mexicans flying over to Canada so they can walk across the boarder into the US but I didn't know it was this bad. I don't see this problem going away unless Canada works with the US to solve it. It's getting scary out there because there are criminals who has committed serious crimes in their home country and come here on a clean slate to continue their criminal activity. When does this torture end?

There is no legal way to impose a foreign and criminal law to run side by side with the law of the land. This is criminal and must be stopped. Or will come to every area.

For 8 years, migrants have entered USA from its southern border, prob. from Central America, then bussed to New York, then put into taxi's at New York and driven at Roxham Road into Canada. We don't need them in Canada either. Last I heard, Roxham Road has been closed. Only way to bring sanity back to the way it once was is to elect Trump in USA and Pierre Poilievre in Canada where migrants will be sent back to their places of origin.
