Why doesn’t anyone ask Christian Freeland, what her credentials were to be Finance Minister! Because being a journalist doesn’t seem to be legit , doesn’t sound very mathematical! For financing a Country!?????

Imagine being the descendant of immigrants and hating immigration.\n\nImagine being jealous of a culture where hard work is present. \n\nImagine repeating the same right-wing rhetoric and still being outworked by an ethnic group that doesn’t seem to care.\n\nYour ancestors are rolling around in their graves.

When you compare Vancouver or Brampton, compare it with Mumbai, Gurugram or posh areas of Delhi, which looks little managed when it comes to infrastructure. Then you will not find much difference in the price and when you use the purchase power parity difference, the difference in real estate prices seem neglegible.

Interesting that the west’s answer to war is to displace people affected by war as refugees in other countries and that has become the norm… the Saudi fm got it right… if people are fighting to stay on a piece of land … why should we move them somewhere else? They need to learn live where they want without killing each other… that seems logical .. unlike the west’s solution to displace and export a problem/populace with a volatile/violent mentality to new lands

The worst part is that the healthcare has really gone down. Paramedics can take an hour to come. Wait in hospital 24 hours. Robot care. MRI you have to have a lethal disease to get a fast appointment. Most of the time you are just dead by the time your turn comes. Sad to see what this country has come to. It is garbage and comparing it to war torn countries still doesnt make it seem like a paradise.

If u r smart enough to build a life , u r smart enough to know that being told to ignore a country’s law was wrong advice…then again, given their seeming tendency to hire only their own , chances r her immigration ‘expert’ was also of her ethnicity…

New immigrants here. Making around 100000 CAD per year - it seems there are no perspectives for the future. Half of the income goes to rent and .. that's it, the dead end. It just doesn't make any sence

I have noticed many establishments, including Tim Hortons, only hire Indian people. Seems unCanadian and racist, contrary to our values. I know they are good hedworking students paying a fortune for their education in Canada. But dont Canadians need to work also?

For some strange reason the people from Punjab seem to consider Canada as their own nation. The prode on their faces to live there is so evident. \nThe issue is most of them cant even string a single sentence in English. Which means they have used illegitimate means to get there. Whats the point of IELTS?

Dude the Propaganda is insane bahaha lets interview some drug addicted white homeless people who don’t support the economy one bit trashing on people running the society there. It really does seem like white people don’t like working and they’re all drugged up and homeless but also hopefully I can see through the propaganda. Most rich white Canadians weren’t even interviewed. ?

They come here as student permit they should go back to there country if they need only a good education then come here for study ONLY . DONT give them any work or work permit so that they don’t take advantage Canada. They are abusive not being racist but it seems that it’s only one race came here. No more Canadian they invade Canada

my biggest problem is most modern immigrants dont seem to care to become canadians, and uphold our standards and culture. they use and abuse our country, our resources, and systems, and overall make things worse for canadians who are born here, or have spent decades contributing. there aren't benefits to being a canadian anymore

Seems like if Brampton didn't have Indians the city would be populated entirely by white welfare cases lol. This is a very weird, very false portrayal of Brampton

Gaining PR seemed more difficult over 10 years ago, when Harper was PM. I brought and sponsored my now wife from Hong Kong. Being formerly under British rule, we thought the process from landed to permanent was more streamlined. It was anything but, nor was it cheap. We had to hire an immigration lawyer to navigate the process and to help obtain government documents we didn't know were needed. I had to earn a minimum of $45k annually and provide a place of residence where she'd have to live in for at least 3 years.\n\nThis doesn't seem to be the requirement anymore. And I know for my grandparents back in the 50s-60s, it was just as difficult if not more so then. We need to reintroduce this measure.

There has definitely been a lot of change in the ethnic makeup of Brampton over the years. I can't say that it bothered me; I lived there for 31 years with no issues. I left in Sept '22, but ethnic makeup had nothing to do with it.\nThis seems aimed at stirring up negative feelings toward immigrants. Carefully couched, but unmistakeable. As the other comments bear out.

As a Canadian Born Citizen, it’s my opinion that it’s the Islamic people who’s “holy book” teaches them to “loot and pillage” non-Muslims that is the problem, NOT people from India. This is not racism as I have not mentioned a race. Many people from Muslim countries are coming to Canada and IMMEDIATELY heading to the homeless shelters and IMMEDIATELY going on Welfare. Go to ANY FAMILY SHELTER IN TORONTO and tell me HOW MANY MUSLIMS ARE THERE. Their intentions from before they come here seems to be to milk us for all we are worth and Trudeau puts them at the FRONT OF THE LINE, while Canadian Born Citizens sleep on the streets because Muslims are given First Priority.

Rishi seems to think he can blame Labour for all Tory mistakes. The Wookiee defence mixed in with Adolph’s say it often say it long enough never works in the real world Rishi. You’re way too boring to pull in the only ones who fall for that - van drivers. Nigel’s got Boris’s demographic.

One thing I have noticed the most that nobody is addressing is. A lot of the people are coming are young single men. I predict an extreame increase in sexual assault. They are living in mass housing and working hard to make money but men are men and eventually have sexual needs. I know it seems like I’m talking a lil crazy but I have seen on the days off they sit outside in groups since no personal space at home. Mark my words rape etc is going to sky rocket.

\nPretty obvious that some Canadians here while claiming to support legal immigration don’t want the immigrants to live like as they were born and raised. \n\nSo how does someone eating what they want and dressing how they want hurt the Canadians? As long as they are not covering their faces (for instance), obeying all the laws, paying taxes, being good humans, and not causing safety issues. Seems Canadians are not that keen on diversity, after all, which is ok. But then don’t advertise a diverse multi culture narrative to attract immigrants and then bash them once in. Sounds pretty prejudiced to me.

Although my parents were both immigrants in the early 60s, they both came here w 14 and 12 years of University and spoke 4 languages including French and English fluently. \nWe all assimilated very well w cultural norms and practices and adopted to Canada as opposed to Canada accepting our traditions. \nThat seems to be the major difference now, I don’t even recognize the Canada I was raised in. \nIronically, We’re forced to be accepting and inclusive to the point we’ve ended or changed standard traditions to adhere to that. Very sad.

Indian here, completed a masters degree in Montreal and my work is taking me to Toronto, I work in AI research and can afford the ludicrously high rent even though it really does suck and seems very unfortunate for a lot of people, I found a place in Regent park but all this talk of crime has me worried. Is it really that bad?

So much ignorance in the comments. A lot of people say the man was right and that this is not harassment. Well this is what muslim women have to deal with basically on a daily basis. Having men/people shout at you to die, curse at you and just simply be rude. If you support that it just says a lot about your character. It is really sad that so many people lack decency. I too don‘t like every person I see on the streets but that doesn‘t mean I go after them and curse them. That seems like a mentally unstable thing to do… so yeah your support of that man just underlines the overwhelming islamophobia which also stems from ignorance. Maybe try to better yourselves peeps and learn things from the right sources. If you try to learn history you don‘t go to your math teacher for that so learn about Islam from reliable islamic sources and while researching about this war look at both sides please. That‘s the least we can do. Also I always thought that‘s common sense but seems like not a lot of people have that anymore…?

I moved home to Canada after 20 years living and working in 5 countries. I am so grateful to be home. I am sorry some people leave but I can truthfully say that it is better here. Taxes are less than Scandinavia. Less than France or UK. Same prob with lack of Doctor's everywhere. Sorry ladies, you seem lovely but you are wrong. Just saying. I wish you all the best in your future decisions.

Some of the places for rent you showed in this video are in my neighbourhood. My neighbourhood has been predominantly Indian since I first moved here 20 years ago, the the demographic shift isn't as noticeable other than the fact that its gone from mostly Indian Canadian families who are mostly Canadian citizens to now a lot of young Indian students who just arrived in the past few years. But I can imagine how rapid the demographic transformation might seem to someone who lived in a predominantly non-Indian neighbourhood that's now being flooded with Indians. The thing that confuses me is why India specifically has such a huge increase in immigrants since 2020 while before China and the Philippines had just as many if not more immigrants, but China and the Philippines stagnated while India just continues to skyrocket. Funny enough the people I hear who are most against this mass migration are Indians themselves who were either born here or have been living here a lot longer.

I agree with that hispanic guy,its like these indians they don't adapt with what is canada all about, they should need to adapt not pushing their being an indian of what they are,if they are stubborn they should be kickout of canada....they just bring their indian culture there, they spoke with their own language and it seems they have populated that place that seems to me their tagging all their countrymen to move in there....And what a shame that they are demanding something that they think they have the right ask the canadian government ....I think the Indian guy who is studying a police course will fail because his english is soo bad and speaking broken english as a policeman is a no no.....Ok the government should be fair to them then give them a chance like look for a job there like in 2 months time if there is no job for them they should be deported....legit canadians are having a hard time looking for a job and there people need to compete with this indians is not fair at all....

People are also very cold in Canada especially in Vancouver. You are pretty much on your own for everything. People seem nice and reasonable, but they don't really care about others except themselves.

I am from India, specifically from Punjab. I fully support your cause to stand up for your country and speak up to bring about positive change in the long term. However, I would like to emphasize the importance of being open-minded and recognizing faults on both sides. \n\nSome of the comments made about Khalistani issues seem underresearched. It is crucial to thoroughly assess the situation to avoid potential long-term damage to Canada's reputation. It's essential to present well-researched facts from both perspectives and encourage improvement on both sides.

I think the main question on everyones mind is how are Indians able to immigrate at such seemingly higher levels than every other country?
