Sadly, there is no housing for the people born there, theres long wait lists for surgery and people are dying before being seen, theres a rise in crimes, theres kids being stabbed to death, theres anger every where, in every country for the same reasons.... its time for All our politicians who All need to be Protecting the people of the country and the country itself. ... its not the people coming to work, to have a family and assimilate into the local community and culture..... its the ones who want to cause trouble, who refuse to work and expect to be kept by the tax payers who legally live there... the workers are sick of being over taxed, over worked, while others spit in their eye whilst riding on their back ...

Ive lived here my entire life and sadly have seen canada go from a have to a have not country .From medical care to the subway that has taken more than a decade we are in bad shape .

Sad but people have to make it in their own countries here in America we have to make it if we don't we're out on the streets period doesn't matter if you have children or not you have to push forward and make it

Not against immigration but Canada has let in Way too many people way too fast , the system can't handle it and not enough housing / jobs .... Canada is starting to look like a 3rd world country now sadly

Sadly this will bring rise to racism and affect most of the cultures. We really are heading backwards by failing to replenish a new system collaborating with different cultures to strive for innovation and development. If immigration is streamlined and not tolerated appropriately, this only leads to rejection to culture irrespective of race.

I am English and when in the sixties I wanted to live in B C Canada I had to go to the Canadian Embassy in London with my husband for an interview….How I loved it, My husband went first and got a job straight away and i went six weeks later …My son and grandchildren are Canadian but sadly none now live in Canada…….Trudeau has ruined your wonderful country and the influx of so called migrants has destroyed it ..We now in England are overflowing with people flooding this country that have no business being here ..Why don’t they stay in their own country and build it up instead of coming to ours and dragging it down to the cutter….

It is so sad that middle eastern countries and their people believe in and run their governments by the Koran. If all of these people want it that way then they need to stay where it is the rule. If they don’t, then change it. There are many countries that would help. It couldn’t be any worse than what smugglers do to innocent humans.

I see both sides. The issue is the government, because they fail to take care of their citizens. However, I also understand the other side of the coin, you need to look out for your OWN PEOPLE as well and provide for them. I came as an engineering student in 1999. Visa students were not allowed to work outside the university. I knew i had to focus on grades and find whatever work on campus. At the time I envyied Canadian friends working during summer but i focused on school and campus work. Problem now is students are coming to work and studying part time. My aim was education not immigration. I met my wife and stayed. Sad to see the Canadian state now..immigration when controlled brings in cream of the crop....now we get anyone and everyone ?

Sad part is Jagmeet Singh is pushing for MORE tentant rights to make this even more difficult. I'm dealing with similar situation, massive repairs stiffed on rent, thankfully it's not Ontario or BC. If they ever go to buy a house now they will have outstanding court order against them.

Landlord Tenant board is a joke and should be called Tenant Board. Since PC govt came in power two housing minister have made situation worse for small landlords. There are less adjudicators than 6 years ago and applications take upto a year before learning takes place. Even then, any excuse by tenants is tolerated but landlord suffer. I will not invest any more in Ontario. It is a very very bad place and PC govt does not care. I do not know what housing minister does all day. Sad.

Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. Forget about GOD can't be surprised when he forgets about you. That said Australia is not much better and getting worse by the day. The reason govts love immigrants is because they bring money in and are obivious to the local politics so the govts simply continue to introduce more and more corrupt policies every year. Even after they become citizens they remained divided on political thought because they tend to have a duality of mindset which says, if it all goes bad I will go back to where I came from. Meanwhile the local population is so busy applauding a PM like Trudeau who leagalises pot so they can be so stoned while there country is stolen right out from under them. The country always gets the govt the country deserves. Place your faithin JESUS CHRIST for he is the only one who can save you, not a corrupt govt. REPENT and come to CHRIST! \nAs I said earlier, not trying to pick on Canadians as Australians are no better. No Indian comes into Canada without a visa from Canadian givernment. Canadian universities and students benefit massively from increased revenue and lower fees thanks to Indians. The sad part is they turn around and be racist and learn to be more racist from an Australian.

I visited Canada 15 years ago and that was my vision of the country. Sadly, although still being a first world country, is decaying. Im living in Canada because that was my dream 15 years ago, and although still a good option, is definitely not what I was expecting.

I completely agree with all that you said, specially how Canada doesn't take care of their immigrants properly, they just want money and they don't see them as humans. I really hope that things can get better... I came to this country as my childhood dream but is sad to see how low is falling.
