Notice that he is doing all he can to protect Canadian jobs and people during this trade while Trump is firing hundreds of thousands of American workers, causing the layoffs of more, and doesn't give a hoot about tanking the economy! As a Canadian, here's my biggest concern. The whole border thing was nothing more than a ruse. Trump has cozied up to Putin ... basically, he's Putin's poodle. He's tossed Ukraine to the wolves. (Though, I think Europe and Canada will increase their efforts to help Ukraine.) My fear is Trump will find some way to justify sending American troops into Canada to simply seize the resources he wants but is unwilling to trade for.

As a Canadian - Trumps 'brilliance' has done one thing for sure, it's aligned all of the provinces against our neighbor and former ally the United States. It's done something we ourselves have had difficulty with - gaining support from Quebec. The overwhelming vast majority of Canadians don't trust the US anymore, as the legal justification for the tariffs is absolute bull, and is a pretext for Trumps actions. My family has cancelled all US travel, in my case 2 trips this year worth 15K to the US. I will miss Vegas for my 60th. Trump is destabilizing democracies worldwide per Putin’s instructions (which he is obligated to do based on what he “owes” Russia). Real Americans don’t support his actions and his communist alliances I’m at a loss on how we get this stopped.
