Let's keep Canada a secular country! \nMuslims are doing their best to change Canada into an Islamic caliphate praying in the middle of busy streets blocking traffic so people can't get to long waited for doctor's appointments or business appointments. Muslims want the call to prayer five times a day to stop everything for everyone not only muslims. If it is a muslim holiday they expect the whole country to take the holiday and that all businesses must close because of their religion. The most logical thing for moslems to do is move to a moslem country that follows their moslem precepts and leave Canada so we can remain a free country not tethered to religion unless we choose that mode of living.

I was born in North York in 1955. Used to be the cleanest city in North America. Beautiful, modern, safe. Now, I'll be blunt. to parrot a phrase from Trump, it's a SHITHOLE of a city. Nothing but condos, you can't even see the lake anymore. Every 6 months when I go downtown from Aurora there another 30 condos being built. Often owned by foreigners with lots of money, who buy up 3-5 units at a time. Parking and traffic are impossible. Green spaces like Allen Gardens are now owned by homeless, not the taxpayers. The government is a far left leaning one, which means let the whole world in, no matter if there are no services, driving up debts by increased spending, and resulting in a place only the very rich can now afford to buy a house or pay rent for a tiny crummy one bedroom unit. I even give up free Leaf tickets when I'm offered, it's just not worth the aggravation of traffic and tons of people. Good luck!!!

I have no idea where these people live in Canada. Having said that, some of the comments are so cruel. These people feel unsafe and want to move to a Muslim Majority country. For people commenting about house helps and maids being available in India, is it a healthy thing? The reason even middle class in india boasts about maids is the overpopulation of unskilled people and no minimum wages act that prevents exploitation of those house maids. Let government fix a minimum wage of 25000 for a full time maid and then see how many of us are able to afford them?

Very interesting video, all was well explained. But the situation it's the same here in Europe, and maybe is even worse, in Italy you die of hunger! Salary is so LOW and never changed in more than 20 years, and rent of houses is crazy! It's insanely high and with your salary you can't pay the rent (even if you are a doctor, nurse etc..) you don't have money to buy an house and if you pay a rent you can't spend money on anything else. People here live thanks to their parents savings (who has this luck). The situation is very bad, young people can't find a job because there are no jobs available, it's really hard to live. Cities are dirty and degraded. In public health care you have to wait months and years for a visit, you are forced to go private and pay a lot of money. So I think the situation is serious everywhere. If you know a place where you are paid well and there are no such problems let me know.

This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

Toronto and Canada claim to be inclusive and diverse. I know many gay men who have been beaten up on the TTC. One buddy was beaten to a pulp, and no one helped him. Wow I am so amazed how Toronto has changed! I used to live there for 6 years and it was amazing, Toronto has a special place in my heart I had a great time I met wonderful people and learnt a lot, however, the city has changed in a very bad way which is sad to hear at some point I was seriously considering going back but I suppose I will have to let it go.

Trudeau's push for mass migration is part of the problem, increasing housing demand. Torontonians tend to vote Liberal and NDP, and therein lies the problem. 16:40, speaking of making friends. I saw this video once from a girl on YT and she is German. She had this theory about how people behave in the US (and in Canada by extension, from my experience) and how they behave in Germany and in Europe I would say, in general. People in North America are like peaches (soft on the outside but really hard on the inside, meaning that they seem friendly, but when it comes to knowing them better, they don't let too much of their personal life). People in Europe are like coconuts (hard on the outside, but soft on the inside, meaning that they would seem inaccessible at a first glance, but if you spend more time with them, they will become very warm towards you and they can be very loyal friends).

Instead of looking at it as people coming look at as debt crime and the collapse of the our country. There are not enough jobs for the people already here so all these people will end up on some form of public aid straining whatever city the go to and when we can’t sustain any more and collapse all of them will return to their country of origin and go about their lives while we sit In the ruin. So unless your letting them move into your house and you support them without any state or government help then shit your mouth and finish the wall

Growing population won't help growth of economy which you can see cleary Indians leaving their country due to lack of jobs and opportunities. And Canada especially not able and ready for influx of people coming to this country. Bringing more and more immigrants are just sole purpose of bringing money into the country to run the economy. And once you are here then you are trapped. Some people do well but not all. Canada has shortages in every field and sectors. There are qualified immigrants to fill the gap but the older generations don't let the control go out of their hands and lose their paycheque and hegemony.

The Mexican government lets this happen as it releases them of a poverty /population problem and these people clamoring to enter the YSA at any cost will be sending dollars back to Mexico to the families they left behind. I think the biggest issue is allowing corporations or living people outside the area owning property. They can afford to let the property sit empty or not rent at all to push the rest of the property up. If the owner was a small business and local this wouldn't be an issue because they couldn't afford to let the property sit. And hopefully they would also care enough about their neighbor as not to screw them. A corporation wouldn't care.

I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

It's crazy that they're mad at the us for not whating to let people into such a great country. It's not a safe haven. And tbh I do what I'd do but them coming over here when there's literally a border stopping them is enough that you should figure something else out because this isn't how you do it.
