Racism will never be gone because it's a normal part of humanity. It goes back to when we were hunter/gatherers and for safety you stayed with those like you. In the modern world it gets twisted and used for hatred. So really racism isn't the problem , hatred is.

Most the retail places i am not sure.. and I am not going to say that racism doesn't happen in these stores because i don't know for certain.. but i am going to post something to think about.. If their best buy is like the best buy where I live.. I knew people who worked best buy.. and certain floor reps get paid at least in part via commission.. or at least they use to.. typically the ones that approach you are the ones working to make sales.. they will usually only do so in certain areas though.. such as Computer area, home entertainment area, appliance area, phone area, POSSIBLY game area particularly if they notice you looking at the consoles, and occasionally I get approached when i am looking at personal entertainment stuffs such as the decent headphone and ipod/mp3 player area... If you stick to CDs, movies and stuff that you can just grab .. typically they wont bother you much.. unless you linger there too long.. then a floor rep might think you might need help looking at something.. In my experience they are just overly hover because they have to be.. but unless you are looking at something that is a focus of sales or a board employee finds you .. you almost have to hunt down reps to help you with something..

I'm also Canadian and moved to the USA to marry my (now) husband, and I definitely notice some major differences. I think much of this really depends on where you're living in the US. I spent most of my life in Ottawa, and now live in South Central Pennsylvania. I'm surrounded by hillbillies, haha. In some ways healthcare is better in the US - I have waited much less time for health care, and also if you're paying in cash for the doctor many places offer a discount here. And I hear you on Amazon Prime! I use it all the time here! Not to mention so many cool vegan foods I could never get in Canada are easily available here.

This is bullshit. One year ago only conservatives were anti Muslim. The Syrian refugees were a election topic here. I was silly and said we MUST let some in to save them. Now that I have met one and he is the janitor of my building and according to HIM .. I must now follow HIS religious laws. SO .. The issue is islam, not all muslims. And not only live in, but given to text in the Koran, effectively dominate. Religious assimilation and toleration is not part of the religion. And in the small case that it is, those religious peoples are second class citizens. \n\nSo you can see how it may sound harsh to say “get rid of islam/muslims” if you are ignorant to the fact of both their possible separation and islam’s eventual political goals. \n\nNot all muslims want sharia law or are as fundamental/radical as others, but that distinction can be hard to make for many people, when a lot of them are silent. All you see are the riots and bombings across the globe by radical islamists, with little or no condemnation by the former. However once again I state, the issue is islam, not all muslims.\n\nIf you think I myself am ignorant of any of this information please attempt to convince me otherwise and I will thoroughly read your argument.

The thing tat I don't get is that if your hijab is your own personal choice, \nWhy do choose to wear it, when you know that it upsets the people of the country you're in?\n\nI used to wear camo pants, combat boots, a bullet belt and deathmetal/grindcore bandshirts with grotesque prints on them.\n\nPeople acted differently towards me, but that's what I could expect when you start wearing some things you know upsets the common man..

There is so much negativism associated with Islam and all Muslims get tarred with the same brush. They frighten us. Their dress is alien to us. ISIL and other groups do unspeakable things in the name of their religion. Their religion is too demanding. Christianity and other religions can adjust to scientific facts. We KNOW the world is round and there are other worlds, so far unpopulated, out there. Islam seems to demand adherence to its core beliefs written centuries ago and makes no concessions to emerging facts. Religion is the main influence in the life of Muslims and their Imams seem to have a lot to do with governance and education, instead of the separation of church and state to which we are used. If you come to Canada to live, then adjust to our values or leave, please. This doesn't mean that you have to stop attending a mosque but please discontinue the scary body coverings and start treating your women as equals, not chattels. Even some women will argue with that last bit, but why does a woman have to cover up and a man does not? This is NOT equality.

there is no such thing as anti Muslim. If mom wants to take over North America and we must stop it! I love these Canadian for standing up to Islam! But this video is part of the vast propaganda network setup by Muslims to pretend that they are like any other religion or people and therefore are offended at being not like. That is utter rubbish Islam is here to take over Canada as well as the rest of the world. Every single former Muslim will tell you the same thing. Haha! This part of the Earth used to have the ability to make Concorde supersonic jets, spacecraft parts and other science stuff. London's new industry? Funny there religion is so great but they do what ever they can to leave there own country then the others follow and they have to follow out of fear, they drink, smoke, weed and lie cause in there home land they would be punished, but they know rest of the world uses common since so they try to get educated from other countries and learn the truth, which scares them even more, cause they are a shame like there religion

My message to these people is that I don't fucking tow the line for any god. I feel so sorry for the Muslim folk that keep themselves to themselves and just get on with things. I I am phobic of any religious extremism. Islam is currently the greatest threat, but not far be hind are some of the right wing christian groups. Take a look at Africa and the atrocities committed by Christians there, look at the USA, they are trying to enact Christianity in to law. Religion is a bad thing and its created and used by psychopaths to achieve their agenda of controlling people and getting rich. Its a bad state of affairs.
