As an Indian living in India, I can attest that many of us look for the easiest way out and often lack a strong moral compass. Additionally, most of us struggle with adapting to new environments, possibly due to an archaic education system that emphasizes rote learning over conceptual understanding. Corruption may have played a role as well, with some local Canadian colleges and universities admitting students who lacked merit. Given the extreme levels of corruption in India, this is not surprising.\n\nThe root issue lies in the Canadian government’s lack of strictness and vigilance when formulating immigration rules and policies. Many Indians, frustrated with the current government and financial hardships, seek to leave the country in hopes of a better life in the West. While educated individuals follow proper processes, the uneducated often resort to questionable means. In Canada’s case, this negligence on the part of both governments has had unfortunate consequences.\n\nI hope stricter policies and more accountability lead to better outcomes in the future.

I really enjoyed watching your presentation. As an immigrant myself, I can relate to the challenges many newcomers face. While I sympathize with their situation, I also strongly believe that those coming into the country should be thoroughly vetted. One important point you may have overlooked is the growing lack of confidence in the government's ability to perform effectively. This erosion of trust is leading to a decline in domestic investment, with many of our own citizens seeking opportunities abroad. Additionally, external investment is dropping significantly.

Let's get real here, these international students do not contribute significantly at all to Canada's economy. They are a drain on food banks that locals need for survival. They are a drain on our economy because 90% of them are sending most of their paycheques back to family in India. They are taking jobs away from young Canadians trying to enter the job market while Canada's unemployment rate is high right across the country. The schools mostly are fraudulent diploma mills that are not providing any real world job skills that are useful to Canada or Canadians and 90% of Indian international students who enroll in these colleges do not even attend. They come only to work for dollars and send money back to India. Meanwhile the cost of living is extremely high due to the housing shortage caused by excessive Indian International students. It should be very clear now, Canada and Canadians want all these Indians to leave Canada and return to India as stated in the temporary resident visa. If not they will be cut off and deported also incurring a 5 to 10 year ban from Canada.

Yeah the government is going hard after immigrants right now, which is good because there was a lot of abuse and the rate of immigration was far too high, but also it's not the root of the problem where housing is concerned. \n\nIn this way, immigrants are a scapegoat for the housing crisis. Hello Anna and Anastasia your channel is truly a hidden gem full of useful information and insight. I am an international student myself and I agree with all your points in the video, Canada used immigration to fix a deeper problem and that is its difficulty to incentivize the economy by having a heavily regulated environment, high taxes and low productivity. It will definitely alleviate some of the pressure on the system but, the real cause is still there. The first sector that is going to be affected will be the education as colleges and universities became over reliant with the revenue coming from Int. Students (which is not particularly small) and institution will need to adapt. When I first came here I fell in love with the country and I really feel fortunate to enjoy this beautiful place and doing everything to assimilate and integrate myself into the culture. I think here you can have a sense of hope of things improving in the future (something that is not the case in my home country) but if they do not fix the underlying problem it does not matter how much immigration they reduce, Canadians will not see a significant improvement. I don't think Mexico's President gets it yet. The cartels will be designated as a foreign terrorist group. Mexico's government has done nothing significant to stop them from committing crimes against the U.S and it's citizens. The U.S military has every right to invade mexico to take out the terrorists and it's government if they're involved with the cartels. As an Alaskan, I have a lot of relationships with my Canadian brethren to my south, both personal and business. While supply chain problems, housing crisis, poor wages, cost of living, and immigration, are all huge issues in Canada, but in my experience, by far, the absolute worst problem I have both witnessed and been a victim of, is the extreme level of crime. Especially organied crime. \n\nIn many rural areas the RCMP is literally run by organized crime, and it caused the justice system to resemble something you'd expect from a third world military dictatorship. I never hear western media discuss it, but the crime in Canada is probably some of the worst on the planet. I saw with my own eyes in New Brunswick for example, is completely controlled by organized crime. This has a very significant impact on the overall functionality of the system. \n\nIf you travel around the world, you will see just how aweful Canada is. I feel really bad for the people there.
