Canada just needs to fix the trade deficit with the United States. If Trudeau does, the U.S. tariffs would not happen. I'm a born Canadian and i'm BAFFLED at how you would turn around and impose tariffs on your closest ally. Canada and the US had a relationship that was built on trust co-operation and trillions of dollars and it means nothing to their current president. I used to be a fan of Trump, but the recent situation with Zelensky along with the tariffs i can see more and more that having him back in office was a huge mistake. The Canadian government imposed sanctions on Rwanda on something Canadians don't know anything about, and they chose to punish the people of Rwanda for their own benefits in DRC, now that the tables are turning on them just for tariffs they are crying talking to the american people directly as if they care. \nThe hypocrisy of these countries and their politicians is on another level

As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. They have a common heritage and history and this is like a brother turning evil and hurting its siblings. Trump is smart? I don't think so, he comes across as a low IQ individual born with privileges, heck he has been bankrupt what is it four times? Right now he thinks he is making America Great again but instead he is on a path to bankrupt even the US Economy. These kind of things in history often have caused actual physical War and he talks about Zelenski is toying with a 3rd world war. Wouldn't it be funny (and not in a comical sense) if in fact Trump causes the 3rd world war with his actions instead?

Don't listen to the media. Trudeau is an idiot who destroyed our great country of Canada. Most Canadians are against him here. He turned our great country from a peacekeeper to an aggressor, just so the Liberals stay in power. Trump and JD Vance are correct. Zelensky has no cards to dictate the terms of agreement. He cannot just keep receiving billions of dollars from the USA with no accountability, and continue the war for years and years while he profits and stays in power. Enough is enough.

I am a proud Canadian and have no love for Trudeau but more important, I fear for the American people. America was once the institution of democracy but has recently taken a very sharp turn and is heading towards the ideals of Russian communism. I hope that level forward thinking will soon prevail so that we can live in peace again in both of our wonderful countries.
