I dont mind the indians since i dont live in an area with too many indians. Well i do (markham) but what annoys me (not tryna sound racist but i just need to say it) theres a lot of chinese here and markham's demographics is like 27-19% european and indians are 19% here but here we have nearly 50% chinese out of our like what 368,000 citizens.. i dont mind them but everywhere i go i hear people speaking chinese, posters in chinese, even some teachers have been teaching more chinese than canadian history at my sisters school. My PE class is 18 chinese kids, 3 white kids, 3 indians and 3 black people. See what i mean.. They're smart and keep to themselves but in my experience they're pretty loud and can often be a bit rude and a lot of the times a bit racist too. Edit: before anyone asks yes i am white. I am not trying to be racist but I would just like someone to hear me out. I think people in Brampton are having similar issues.

Politicians always play safe for their benefits, but any native should never feel a stranger in their own hometown, it's a nightmare, I'm an Indian, from Kerala, I can't think of feeling and outsider in Kerala, so totally understand what people feel in any part of the world. But don't you think, any outsiders coming and occupying the masses seems like a problem with the efficiency of people there, even here in Kerala we used to speak of Tamil population in early 80s and now Bengalis occupying our street, but can we actually blame them? As someone who had to take the English assessment to attain the PGWP, I complained so much because I didn't come to Canada not knowing English, and I certainly did not graduate without the ability to read, write, listen and even present business cases in English. It pissed me off at the time cause he costs hundreds of dollars for something I was assessed on before even coming to the country. Did they really think my English got poorer after 3 years in the country? \n\nBut I totally get your point why its needed now with the way things are. However, in the long run, I think reforms should be made at the student visa level. Canadian and other international students who worked hard to get into uni don't need a deadweight that cant speak the official language of the university and contribute meaningfully. Forget contributing to Canadian society, would the student himself learn anything?

If you don’t take the time to learn about the culture of the place you are migrating to and/or expect that locals welcome habits that could be perceived as rude and shocking to most Canadians, you are going to limit your network to only people in your cultural group - which will definitely hinder opportunities for growth. Don’t make the mistake of assuming that everybody thinks and acts the same as you do.

If they get deported, that is going into immigration records and when that gets pulled up when they apply to come back it will likely cause any legally efforts to return to be rejected. And who knows how long that will stay in their system? Could be years, could be permanent. Biden’s idea to help those undocumented who are married to citizens to be able to apply and get a temporary visa to stay here while they wait so that families wouldn’t have to be broken up by having the applicant return to their country of origin. That was not just a great idea from a humanitarian point, but they could apply for a job that wasn’t going to take advantage of them by paying below minimum wage, with no rights if they are injured. That could help bring local wages up. They would start contributing back by paying their fair share of taxes, and do on. just deceived by a new Indian immigrant, and it feels terrible. About 10 days ago, I posted an advertisement for a parking spot rental in front of my apartment condo. I then received a call from someone who said he had just moved here from India and needed a parking spot. I explained that parking spots here are rented on a monthly basis. He said that was fine, but he wanted to first pay only for the days from October 24 to October 31, and then he would pay for the following month. I thought that was acceptable, so I agreed.However, on October 31, he didn’t make the payment as expected. When I asked, he said he would pay on November 1. The next day, when I hadn’t received the payment, I followed up, and he promised to pay the following morning. By noon on November 2, I still hadn’t received the payment, so I messaged him again, but he didn’t respond. It was only later in the evening when he finally replied, saying he no longer needed the parking spot and that I could rent it to someone else. Then i asked how to deal with the rest of the payment of these days for the parking he already used, no reply anymore. At that moment, I really felt deceived. Why so much like getting smart with others?

The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that. We have always been a country of opportunity and growth for everybody. If we had a good border bill that they could all agree on fe border act was bipartisan til Trump didnt want to “give dems a win” which it would have given more $ for more judges to help speed up the process for asylum cases and put more agents on the border and more security at checkpoints which is where most fentanyl is caught. Ignorant republicans like boebert sharing the story of a big fentanyl bust at the border her reaction was “we need border security now!” Like who does she think caught that? Border security she think we dont have i guess. But there are alot of things that could be helped and sped up if we just had politicians that could agree, you have bipartisans that support then you have the handful like trump is the puppet master that shuts good things down for partisanship reasons. It’s sad bc the people are tired of this divisive behavior. To run on a problem instead of solutions!

I live in Atlantic Canada and we normally have moderate Winters. We don't usually even have snow for Christmas. Winter normally starts in January. I have only had to shovel twice the last two Winters. Last Winter, it mostly rained because the temperature was usually too warm to snow. Still chilly, not many freezing days. When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, we would wear a snowsuit for Halloween because it was so cold. Now, you are as likely to see kids wearing shorts. \n\nIt still would be cold for someone coming from a hot country, but someone from Iceland would probably find it mild.

If you have applied to be a student then how can you be an asylum seeker? Someone claiming asylum would have normally come here right away and claimed asylum as their life is at risk, not try to be a student first. Any international students trying to claim asylum should have their application immediately rejected, Canada does not have the resources to deal with this scam behavior.

I think everybody around are super rich. I can never go only work, each day is a possible laid off whatsoerver my effort and education. You watch the dude beside, of course, he or she has much more spend time to build something with many reference, but he or she does better with a lower number of years to study. \n\nFor exemple, I watched the prime minister calling homophobic a sentence from someone without any right of speeking at a lower rank. People in the parlement have a wage over 100k per year to be on a seat, time is money, but they can't focus on their results. That tells me these people never live injustice and can't fight in the reality where everything is not fair and we have to make better despite all efforts are ruined by corruption. They don't need to have results on their decision. They know tomorrow, they will do a second chance and spend time make money.

Wow ! Stolen land….. seriously?? I am an immigrant myself and I respect the land of Canada. Canada is Canada bcos someone has built it into Canada. Would these immigrants have stayed here if it wasn’t a so called “stolen land”?? Or would they have just come here to adopt the lifestyle of indigenous people if there were no whites on this land?? They came here bcos of the heritage that white people has built here and for the better economy that is raised by the white people. Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. Yes anyone that moves out of here is your choice but….there’s no other great country in the world than here. I’m staying here and I think that’s a good thing. I will be here for the forseeable future and I love it here. I agree with your points and I wish you the best.
