The govt. has frozen innocent people's bank accounts with no court order just because they did not align with govt's ideology. There's also active persecution of people that criticize govt. and there's higher than ever govt. corruption.\n\nIf you have kids, the govt. promotes gender transition and as a parent you have no power to even delay—let alone stop—your kid from following irreversible medical procedures.\n\nIn short, Canadian govt. treats you badly and is looking for new ways to invade people's privacy, like implementing CBDC and a social credit system.\nAnyone who does their homework will not consider Canada a place to live in.

This liberal government is so out of touch its rediculous. Our immigration minister is obviously just trying to collect a paycheck as bringing in over a million immigrants from now til 2026 is not the answer. US - the problem is when there are obvious problems you have a system that allows big money into politics, which allows for lobbying, which in my opinion is legal bribery. There are a lot of Canadians in the arts ( musicians, painters etc. ) that have the freedom to pursue any employment that wish, and not worry about the health benefits. \nIt kind of surprises me that you were surprised about school shootings. From what we see, that is not happening all in big cities. Sandy Hook was the worst. To think that Congress didn't do a thing after that, is reason enough not to want to move there.\nAnd Donald Trump has soured my wanting to ever even go there on holiday. Unbelievable that after two years, so many Americans believe anything he says, when he claims that he won in 2020 with not even a ounce of evidence to the contrary. There is not even a theory that would explain his claims. The mistrust of Americans with each other stems from people like Trump and Fox news. \nI think as you said - Healthcare alone is enough for almost any Canadian. Stupid Politicians. They should implement dual interest rates: pump mortgage interest rates to at least 7%, and have corporate interest rates set to 2-3%. And, set property tax to at least 50% for those whose accumulated real estate is valued over 1M~1.5M. I don't expect the Canadian government would implement such a policy any time soon, the only way out for Canadians is to migrate to the U.S.; Canada soon will become a hallowed country (similar to Hong Kong) - has nothing but real estate - look at the # of jobs related to real estates - totally insane - not mentioning most of these workers only accept cash to avoid taxes. We need to implement new rules just like the UK. If you enter Canada illegal, you will be deported, no social assistance and you can't apply for PR status or Canadian citizenship.

Hi I'm from Panama and here we are getting more and more visitors from Canada note that I don't say tourists that's because I noticed that they are like on a exploration mission asking prices for everything I guess they are looking for some sort of tropical paradise. There are a couple of things you must consider before going to Canada it's cold as hell even the warmest winter there in cold as hell if your from the tropics, work ethic is totally diferent a couple of minutes late to work is a no no,taking it easy no no, or relaxed easy going of the tropics is a no no, etc. and the social customs vary depending on the predominant immigration in the area. Also take into consideration that some countries are implementing to deduct a percentage of your social security check if you move overseas to live as a expat. For those planning to go to Canada to work retire and go back to there home countries.

I’ve been living in Canada for 5 years now and I can surely say that Canada is loosing it’s beauty. To make a story short, there is nothing special in Western countries. The quality of life in Canada has changed for the worst. The country claims Canada needs more immigrants but all the companies have been working on implementing new technologies to replace workers or transfer jobs to cheaper markets. Exception IT jobs.. Some companies suggest we should prepare ourselves to share our job with another worker, this would mean less working days and less pay..

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's a heartbreaking situation, but a country has the right to decide who comes in and who doesn't. The places where hard-working, industrious people like Jose come from need to drastically change their societies to capitalize on his talents and provide for a stable future for his children. Perhaps what the US and Canada can do is help train those country's leaders to implement policies that improve their economies like establishing strong property rights, rule of law, free markets, tough measures on crime, etc. But unless you have a Ph.D. in Physics or will start the next Apple computers, we have plenty of unskilled labor here already. Look, I feel for the guy and I'm empathetic to his plight, I don't think he's an evil person, and our country may be better off having him here working and contributiing to the labor pool, but the law is the law.

for security and safety they should make it mandatory so that every person can be identified. suppose someone wearing a mask or someone who covers there identity wants to do some evil like stab or robbery or steal etc... now they can go in a store and take what they want or stab anyone etc.... its best to implement laws that provides security for people. also its not required for muslims to wear such cloths so why dont just try to obey for purpose of security and safety. i am a hindu and i love canada. why, its because we have an allstar groups of people that try to live in peace. we should keep this way of thought. also making some comprimises like this will go a long way for muslims with other communities as well. they should try to look at the fact that canada is not an islamic country.
