At least 300 days of the year.\nI don't live in an Islamic state but in my country we make provision for all religions and cultures. \n1.7% of the population is made up of people of islamic religion. That is more than 1million muslims living here. 78% are Christians. We have Mosques, halaal food in nearly every city and Islamic schools in certain areas where there is a higher populations of muslims.\n\nFor the muslims who prefer to attend a normal school, provision is made for islamic cultural and religious events within these schools.\n We hear the Athaan 5 times a day. In fact we hear it so often that we dont hear it anymore. It has become part of who we are as a nation. We hear the church bells ring. This reminds us of who we are. I live opposite a Jewish cemetery that has a synagogue. With religious events we cant get out of our drive ways because of the congestion if traffic due to this. But we still respect and understand. \nWe have a very diverse culture and most of us respect the diverse cultures.\nI live in Cape Town and would not want to live anywhere else. \nGood luck with your journey and follow your heart.

Im a south african and there has been a huge emigration wave due to the power crises crime etc. ONLY to find out that a massive wave of returning south Africans back home. We have issues such as power and crime etc but gosh i love this country. Some basic interventions and the private sectors take care of most sectors.

May you choose the right country for your family. I would have suggested ?????? for diversity and tolerance and quality of life and the $$$ you bring with you going very very far, but our crime is sky high and our government leaves a lot to be desired. Bonus point is South Africa supports Palestine. South Africans, in general, are cool.

South Africa. Not a Muslim country but you can freely practice Islam. Mosques all over with athaan being called out loud. Salaah facilities almost everywhere including malls. Halaal food and meat found everwhere and is easily accessible. The muslim communities are very welcoming as well. And South Africans are very freindly.Many islamic schools and after programmes and most importantly we don't support Isreal. We are in full support of a free Palestine. Our winters are for about 4 months of the year and not as bad as Canada( i think) and the summers are great. We might be at the bottom of Africa but we have eveything and anything you can think of. Lynn just watched this video ,great content, i came across it after a friend of mine with a good job in kenya asked me if i had any links there, i am Jamaican, i actually established a business in Nairobi Kenya,which i moved from Jamaica which started in the UK, i told my friend i did have links but he would not be able to take the Cold weather, look Lynn the answer for me is if your KENYAN Government opened the doors to the Diaspora to come to Kenya from the Carribean ,USA and South America , we would bring our wealth and skills which are higher,no disrespect, yes there are intellectuals in Kenya, but they realise when they work in places like Canada that they are learning more, we as black Diasporans already had a head start when it comes to that , because we have been in those countries since Slavery unfortunately,but we took the knowledge anyway, if we came to Kenya and other African countries,not only would jobs be created for kenyans and such like but your living standards and economy would improve,its a no brainer, please do i video on this subject,?keep up the good work, nuff respect

I am Canadian, and while elements of this video are true, there are larger points missed. healthcare is challenging, but it could be worse- could be the American system. housing is expensive if you want to live in the large urban centres. essentially, life is good but takes effort, and there's a growing sense of entitlement... but all a Canadian need do is head south and they'll be missing it in a short period of time. I would far rather be here than in China, Ukraine, Russia, India, many African nations, many South American nations, Mexico,... Europe is more expensive in many areas... no, I'll stick with Canada, thanx

A South African who lived there a few years. Nothing felt better than getting on the plane to leave, and knowing I will never have to return. Even South Africa with the crime and load shedding is by far better. In many ways a man is more free here even if i have to live behind security systems. I can speak my mind without fear of some PC police and censorship, which is far worse prison. My standard of living is also far better here. I can ride my bikes as I please where in Canada I can only ride a few months and would lose my license in a month due to BS fines. And the people here are much more open and truly hospitable, not some fake politeness. I even missed the blacks here, who at least i can joke and chat with far easier than with canadians. I found I have more in common with black africans than with white canadians who look like me and speak the same language. We may have the same skin colour but are totally different in culture. It made me realise I am more african than western, proud of it, and I would prefer to live and die with the african sun on my face with wide open space, than in some dark, cold, gloomy place living in cramped quarters in some libtard paradise constrained by so many laws. An immigrant friend of mine told me how high the cost of living is and how little people tend to earn. You can't do that with the US next door. I was speaking to a German friend about how the South African border is out of control and how people are advocating to build a wall. We literally have migrants from most African countries, and then for some reason a growing number of Pakistani people. Illegal migration, crime, safety and security will be one of the top 3 issues on the national elections next year.

I am a South Sudanese Canadian who pretty much grew up in Kenya before travelling abroad. Life in Canada is not easy.. especially after Trudeau came to power.\nI make pretty good income in IT, but i pay like 30% in taxes...30% of my money is gone. I dont see it. I know others who pay more than me in taxes. The grocery is also high, as are the other bills. Rent is really high. In my city, an average house costs 800k. Even my cousins in the US are shocked at the prices of homes in Canada. My rent is much higher than the mortgages being paid by my cousins in the US. In places like Toronto or Vancouver, it is worse.\n\nI went back to Africa last time and saw so many opportunities, that i made my decision yo transition slowly back home. \n\nThe problem i find with most Africans is thinking of finding jobs in the government or private sector. If you are a Kenyan, or Ethiopian or South Sudanese, etc, think of creating jobs instead.\n\nThe opportunities for entrepreneurship in Africa are endless because alot of the problems in society have not yet been resolved. You dont have to have alot of capital to start farming for example. So many Africans have access to free ancestral lands that they can farm and make money from. But many want to spend time in the cities instead. A change of mindset is needed.

It's nonsense to think there's no where for black people to go for holiday. I've been to European countries and racism is alive and well. So i see no reason to go to these places when there's so much to see in the African continent. I've visited West Africa, South Africa and recently, East Africa and all are beautiful. I promise.

Everywhere around the world where Europeans colonized and destroyed the native people is based on white supremacy. The laws created in all of these places benefit the white citizens. Thats Canada, the US, South Africa and others. Remember native Africans have not so long ago been able to go to the beaches without being harassed by white people. But what gives them the advantage and keeps them in power is the fact that they are very good at spreading lies and stereotyping every group thats not white. And in doing so, teach every minority to fight against each other (some even defend white supremacy as long as they dont think it will affect their own race. White supremacy affects us all in a negative way.

I would never visit Europe, Canada, South America, or Asia because of anti-black racism. The only places I would visit are the African continent, Haiti, Jamaica and Barbados. Bull$hit. I know a number of my African friends who live in Edmonton and they are all employed of great jobs, and have good lives there- and no matter where you are discrimination is everwhere. Discrimination in Canada (and Edmonton) is not as this SINGLE person says. This is poor reporting just to creat divisiveness. You want to see discrimination? Go to the USA - especially the south - then comeback to Canada and tell me we have “heavy” discrimination.
