And on Fox “News” they keep going as if it’s business as usual. All the way down to TDS and the Russia Hoax. From Europe it very much looks like a hostile takeover, from the dismantling of the judicial system, the weakening of intelligence services, the souring of relationships with pretty much all the historical important allies, be it nations and organisations to the dismantling of civil services that can create great internal uproar and conflicts.

I stand with Canadian people but all these career politicians doing business as usual in no longer working. Simply fix the issues and there won’t be tariffs.

I'm usually reasonable enough to realize that while I may disagree with many policy decisions, there's usually a relatively coherent line of thought to back said actions up. The problem here is that there’s no clear logic behind using tariffs as a tool to curb fentanyl trafficking or immigration. I'm not going to speak on the issue of immigration at the Canadian border because there simply is none. Yes, there are illegals from Canada, but almost 100% of them are from overstaying visas rather than crossing the border unlawfully. So let's talk about fentanyl. \n\nMost fentanyl in the US originates from China, often in precursor form, and is then processed in Mexico before being smuggled into the states. But it's typically trafficked in small, high potency quantities, often hidden in legitimate shipments or through mail, and only on very rare occasions is it being brought in by individuals crossing the border. It has _never_ been documented to have shipped in as part of large scale commercial imports, so a 25% tariff on legal trade with Canada and Mexico doesn’t directly target the black market supply chain at all.\n\nIf we take Trump’s reasoning at face value, the argument seems to be that he wants to exert economic pressure on Mexico and Canada as a means of having them crack down harder on drug trafficking networks. But the issue is that fentanyl simply isn’t coming in through mass import channels, so all this looks like is a punitive measure without a clear mechanism to actually achieve its stated goal. And the implications? Drastically higher costs for consumers in the US, Canada, and Mexico, with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Just one questin. Trudeau just said him an the president worked together an beliving he refurred to the USMCA. He said it made money an jobs an economy better. So he signed an agreement he didnt bring up an coulda kept rolling along like usual, but after signing it he said its been a good thing doesn't that mean he was way ahead an the new deal still left him ahead in the positive but just not as much? If so I'd like to hear him go line by line in defence of the accusations because something isnt adding up

Why is it that the republicans always got a threaten our neighbors, Canada and Mexico was high terms, threatening the people all the time and bullying them is not gonna work, usually bullies get put in prison or go to jail or worse, and they know that why are they being bullies just because they're rich and they. Don't want their pockets empty. And they want to take it out on our neighbors.Well, it's the taxpayers that keep them there.Remember that when your election comes republicans, you guys can be oust out of business. You will not be voted for anymore.Remember that and that's my opinion why you bullying our neighbors

Drama teacher is always drama teacher. Trump can place tariffs at any time. Canada must stop rely on USA for everything. Grow up! Yes, we need to reply with the tariffs as well, but stop making your drama as usual. Trudeau, go away and let Poilievre negotiate a deal with Trump. Stop wasting the Canadian taxpayers money and pretend you care. Trump is not a Russian friend. He is keeping us away from the 3rd world war. The war in Ukraine must to stop.

Terrorist don't affect governments they affect the people that's why Trump blew it and made another fucking stupid mistake the Importer pays a higher price he turns around and just raises the price to the American Consumer people not even knowing really how much they got raised but they usually toss in a little bit extra and then blame it on the government that's how dumb this is

I'm a canadian who usually agrees with Trump but in this case I feel like this makes no sense. Not sure exactly why Trump is doing all of this but deteriorating relations between us and impacting our economies in such a way makes no sense to me. The stock market is plummeting, jobs on both sides are at risk, prices on both sides of the border will go up. Btw my job won't be affected by these tariffs so i'm not speaking out of anger or fear for my job.

And as usual everyone immediately goes after Trump before you see any results. As Trump tries to save money for American citizens for some reason liberals are against it. Trump did a pretty good job the last time he was in office so give him a chance. Trudeau is on his way out so I don’t particularly care what he has to say. He’s more in line with a Bernie Sanders than a Conservative.

You are an excellent neighbor Canadian. This trade war is thoughtless and stupid. As usual trump is spreading lies to justify his acts, but this will hurt the American people as much as it hurts the Canadian people. The Wall Street Journal got it right. Trumps idea is wrong.
|

Trudeau literally resigned he needs to step down, he is responsible for much more damage to Canada than any Tarrifs. Spewing bull shit as usual
|

For example, if whiskey costs $1,000 and a 25% tariff is imposed, the price would increase by $250, making the total cost $1,250. The burden of this tariff is usually passed along the supply chain, meaning American consumers will pay higher prices for those goods.

Lol, blistering speech. It was his usual word salad filled with dramatic pauses, over pronounced words and lip tightening in an effort to look all mad and tough. He ends up coming off as pathetic, weak and fake.

The brain drain for college is mostly inaccurate. It’s usually at the stage of job market due to higher salaries after a lower priced college education within Canada.

High real estate prices have fueled hidden corruption by all levels of government. Until you try to build something you just can't imagine the fees and cost of regulation compliance. Since values keep rising there are more hands out demanding more by all levels of government. Another (sort of) related issue that has been ignored until recently has been Trudeau's reparations to First Nations. He has manipulated the courts and civil service to acquiesce to whatever is demanded. The province of BC just ceded sovereignty to an Island chain (Haida Gwaii) to an indigenous group that is against virtually any economic development. Northern Canada, as vast as is, is essentially blocked from new resource development. Every investment, including housing development, needs approval from, usually in the form of a payment to, an Indian Band. The level of corruption here is at South America levels.\n\nI think the unsaid part about excessive immigration levels the last few years was that was used to mask what the government was doing.

Im going to be fully honest. Trump usually ends up saying something completely stupid and absurd at the time, but in the future there ends up being some truth to it. It's like he can see the future or something. So imagine if Canada gets so bad, that some Canadian provinces secede from Canada and join the US. ?

This is pretty common in the US. Since most delivery drivers don't carry coins some people think that they can bully them into giving more back. I usually asked for a card and then took the food back if they refused. If they don't care that the money they take comes out of the driver's pocket why should I care that they didn't get to eat the food they ordered?

Anyone who defends illegals should have a background check done on them. Usually ones who defends crimes are criminals themselves and don't want to be discovered.

Hi I'm from Russia and I would say that mostly people who lives in english speaking countries they usually can only tell about wealth privilegues of having particular passport, offical status of their country and that's it. for my personal opinion the motherland is something that is more than that. I didn't travel much somewhere but I've been abroad and I would say - nowhere is better than here in Russia for me. And those people who just moved there to foreign counties from Russia as example they pretend that it's much better for them in completely alien country. that's a bull shit as I guess because each people is like a spider who since it was given a birth is spreading out it's net in particular place (their parents, friends, first love, lovely places, and etc) and since they moved somewhere all this NET will be torn for a long time or forever and never restored anymore. and for my personal opinion immigration is BULL SHIT and I would do it in a completely disparate situation. And I see nothing common with english speakers in mentality, everything that you're interested in is a personal wealth and interest in everything. Russians in this way are much better.

I find it ironic, I hardly hear about people sneaking into Canada to live, usually to get drugs for cheap but, people wanna come into America illegally though it’s “such a terrible place”

Cash spreading more misinformation as usual. Canada announced they would strengthen border security on the 17th of December. Had nothing to do with Trump making them, he wasn't even in office.

Glad to heard your ICE officials are doing their job and watching your borders.?These illegals are usually ordered to leave Canada and instead of leaving, run to the U.S..stop them, jail them.?Remember its only 1 percent, that go across the border illegally,so dont freak out MAGA freaks, worry about your southern border, its worse.

Get rid of New York governor. Stop the sanctuary funding and give that money to the NY police to arrest criminals and help the city's citizens.. Get rid of ridiculous sanctuary city laws. Sanctuary cities will destroy our country. If there is easy money to be made, there's usually a crook behind it.

Your wrong! The US, and CANADA have had a lucrative business of transferring migrants in a rotative system, usually between Buffalo,Syracuse,Toronto,Niagara, for many Decades! Also, people forget that when entering the US, It's US customs agents that you deal with, and when entering Canada, you deal with Canadian customs!

The vast majority of immigrants crossing the Canada-US border are crossing into Canada from the US. 200,000 in 2024 alone. Where are immigrants getting $35,000? With that money they could just fly to Canada or the US on a tourist visa. This video is filled with inaccuracies and some complete BS. I usually like Jordan's videos, but he needs to do a bit more research.

I usually look up your videos for updates! Our government has no idea how people are suffering these days. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserve. Thank you advisor PAP, imagine investing $102,000 and received $755,500 within three months.

Any sympathy I once had is gone now. Seeing them try to force their way in and that father with his baby on his shoulders participating, is too much for me. I have been watching ICE videos and while some appear quite sympathetic, you usually find out they are coyotes or have criminal charges. The media is putting videos of crying children saying “I love you Mama” and then you briefly see on the screen she was a criminal with 3 major drug charges.

As people cry and come out of the wood work. First read books and learn history. The US isn't being mean nore violent nore the same as the world. The world's borders are equipped and armed with Walls, Razor wire fences, electrictified, littered with anti personnel land mines, legally allowed to shoot anyone attempting to illegally cross with 50 caliber machine fines and sniper rifles, grenades you name it,, and when tensions are high like they are now and or when clusters of illegal people breaking fighting border guards there legally allowed and usually move to the next stage which is calling in air support which includes Armed Reaper Drones with hell fire missiles,, Attack helicopters and at the minimum Light Utility to Multirole medium helicopters Armed with performance, Infared to see in the dark, UAV tracking systems, electronic warfare for tapping and listening to all electronics and shut off all electroincs when attack is ready, Armed Wirh Front large 50 Cal or Better Machine Gun,, Side wings Armed with fuel tanks, more machine guns,, Rockets, Guided Missiles,, Unguided Blitz Rockets and missiles,, Sometimes joy stick automuns fighting system,, and last most system and one of the most effective Door Gunners With Infared zooming helmets,, helmets with radio to connect to all the bombs rockets missiles to bomb on command,, and small targets the door gunners can see in the dark and in the daylight can see through bright sun trees buildings equipment etc and at you're hands is either a 50 Caliber Accurate Machine Gun, 50 caliber Sniper rifle or smaller caliber guns that fire bullets alot faster instead.

I like Firstpost because she usually says it like it is. But this time she’s way too biased and went straight to play victim. Doesn’t she know how in places like Australia and Canada thousands of Indian people on temporary visas have taken to the streets to protest that these countries want to “deport” them when their visas are expired and they decided to overstay their welcome? Also, Indians used to be pretty quiet and kept to themselves… At least where I live! But lately they’re more and more unruly, and act like they own the place. A good dose of self-awareness wouldn’t hurt her.

Brut. Team! Why you linked this incident to a racial angle or racial point of view. \nI think, First of all, \nThis is not a complete footage, As usual, You are always mentioning one side of the story, just to gain some viewership and sympathy from Indian community. \nThat Man was just asking for his change amount return from this Pizza company employee. \nHowever, He (Pizza co. employee) refuses or hesitates to give him his change amount back. \nThat is the maein reason of the conflict. \nNot, Any kind of racial issue. \nRegards, \nMohd Ashar Quasim

Immigrants are young people usually. These are persons who do not go to doctor often, let alone do surgery. I really doubt they can be a burden for social net. In many countries immigrants pay much more taxes than whey receive back in government spending.
