Indians are coming to Canada only to be scammed by other Indians. This is the state of our country. I hope there are severe consequences for the scammer. We need to bring back standards to this country because things just keep getting worse and worse.

The last few years have also shed a bright light on India's reputation with scam-calling centers etc., too. As it happens more and more in Canada now, with Indians being arrested for it. Yet the Canadians, who had $ stolen from them, still remain poorer after the arrests. \nAnd due to some recent (but many) Indian business/home owners in Canada, and the recent fraudster agents in India ... both utilizing secret cash pocketing shenannigans ... Canadians now are often viewing Indian men (and I stress the word men) as untrustworthy and $ greedy. \n \nSome Indian students have strong ties to Canadians, not most. I bet the protesters with their signs accusing Canadians as being racist don't have such ties, because if they did they would know its horrible to call one of the most tolerant societies in the world racist. \n \nWhy does Canada have to own missteps and make inspiring changes while India doesn't? Diplomatic relations, but only at Canada's expense? \n \nIf Canada keeps the students will they proceed forward honestly? Or will Canada be letting in a wave of demanders and scammers? You tell me? Heck even Indians who immigrated to Canada decades ago don't trust many Indian newcomers. Why?\n \nDoes giving current Indian students PR (because they were 'victims' via India) help Canada solve Canadian problems (that exist because of the student PR mess)??\n \nI know Canada made some mistakes. And I know some Canadians turned greedy too. But you tell me why, after 50+ years of Canadians loving multiculturalism and immigration and acceptance of so many from all around the planet (and after a world pandemic) Canadians are primarily (by a wide margin) upset at Indians. You overwhelmed our country. Perhaps that 5%-10% is here in Vancouver it would seem. Indians are known to be dishonest, scammers. You disrespect our culture, laws and overall norms and decency. 1 million of you in one year… We have no infrastructure, housing or medical ? for ourselves let alone you folks. No one hates you - we want less of you, balance ??

Make no mistake about those Indians, Liberal PM, J Trudeau invited about a million of them into the country as temp students last year, knowing they will never return home after grad. So by the looks of it, once their student visa expires and their app for work permit denied, they throw away their papers and try entering the US. Anything, but going home. \nDear American neighbors, do NOT repeat the error, what Canadian PM did, cause you will never get rid of these scammers.

There are alot of Indian scammers in Canada

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Getting immigration back to sensible levels of skilled workers in the next step, and not just massive amounts of one culture. Diversifying the diversity. The Indians coming to Canada over the past 5-10 years are the absolute bottom of the barrel. \n\nDo not compare them to those who migrated to the US & Canada over 20 years ago. Those Indians don’t even want to be associated with them and many are now expressing their embarrassment & disgust. \n\nPeople are fed up with the sheer numbers flooding ??.. they’re bringing their caste system with them, they are also racist against others and especially black people, they are known for being exploitative against even their own people, they’re known for being scammers & cheats. \n\nIndia’s population is over a billion. Youth unemployment is ridiculously high. Rural & urban poverty, squalor & filth is high …. It’s no wonder that they are desperate to leave & the “immigration consultants” are selling them lies about life in paradise. Many who come were clearly NOT properly vetted as they are dangerous criminals. Most of the “students” have no intention of returning to India and came to stay indefinitely & feel entitled to do so. It appears that the huge increase of immigrants to Canada came at the expense of poor screening process by Immigration Canada. It is true that you can't demand higher education for people you expect to perform menial jobs, but no one wants these jobs especially in a country with such high living costs, and such poor outlook of social advancement. Every society on earth have a lower social segment of uneducated and poor individuals. Unfortunately a portion of these lower class Indians landed in Canada, and aren't contributing to their new country, or to India itself. As usual, they generally are single young males; a similar situation can be appreciated in Europe with Muslim and African individuals. I can't say how many times I've received calls or e-mails from scammers from India, Pakistan, Russia, Nigeria, and China. We, in the West as common citizens, are the targets of criminals around the world trying to exploit us. If landed immigrants aren't of any positive influence to Canada, they should be denied citizenship and expelled from the country.

Indians are an eye sore, especially at the airport ? Here in LAan Indian guy tried to scam me by charging $370 on my car rental. I asked him what's that $370 for and he couldn't tell me. So, I filed a dispute to my credit card Co and it was given back to me. I had an Indian doctor I worked for, and the same thing, bad Indian. After 3 months I quit working for that doctor. In general, Indians are scammers.

I fully agree with you. The International Students, most of them have no manners and are rude. I use public transport. Some don't pay fares, talk loudly in their language either on the phones or in a group. They push to get in or out of the buses. They have taken away jobs from our youth, who are citizens of Canada. They signed on the documents that they would go back to their country after studies, but NO, they want PR. That was their intention in the first place. They are inconsiderate of others. They have no respect for others. It's just them. How can we say they are the future generation of this country, who also cheat the system. There are also some Indians, Muslims who have recently, I would say 10-12 years moved to Canada, do the same as above, including loud music in their cars, noisy cars, litter and spit, also spit red liquid on the grounds, etc., it is annoying. They come here thinking they can do whatever they want to do it's their freedom in a free country. We also see that there are scammers from Call Centres in India who have scammed so many innocent Canadians, including some Seniors. Then don't blame Canadians who have been here for long, who speak up about this issue. Thanks.

Indians can't integrate into Canadian lifestyle and ethics. They do not want to integrate and blend into society with harmony. They think they are better and smarter. The reality is that they aren't. They are just average joe like 99% of the world population. On top, they are the cheaters, scammers and liars. They think being a cheater means being smart. This is why majority of Canadians have negative opinion about them. I lived with them for 5 years. I have at least tried to understand. I couldn't. I learned all above in 5 years. I have seen that they bribed driving test examiners, lied police. I have seen that they cheated banks, credit card companies and CRA as well. They harassed people by calling their personal phone numbers to sell service. I have also seen that they have cheated TTC, YRT by not paying their very reasonable 3-4 dollars fare. I have seen that they did committed insurance fraud. I have seen that they stole grocery from department stores. They speed, disobeys traffic rules and more.\n\nThey are also financially frustrated and feel homesick. This is the main reason. They are suffering here and stressed.\n\n\nIt is not racism. It is a behavioral reaction. This will not stop.

Pin points why Canada and even immigrants, including international students and temporary works dislike immigrants from Punjab:\n\n- They are rude. They have little to none concept of living in society. They are selfish, they are arrogant, and anyone who works in the serving/retail industry will they are the worst customers ever. \n\n- The level of entitlement is beyond absurd. When the leader of this protests in PEI was told “Canada needs doctors and nurses, not you (the guy graduated from a business program, and works at Tim Hortons still), he responded: “I don’t care what Canada needs, is what I need, for myself”, displaying what a great citizen he’d be.\n\n- They refuse to integrate. They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. You said yourself: To be eligible for a mortgage , you need to make at least $250k per year. They are landing in Canada with no money, and buying houses right away, because they have a network of people forging financial documents, and the also have people infiltrated in banks to approve these processes. Not me saying, that was national news. \n\n- They are extremely racist. They will openly tell you they only rent/hire/do business with Punjab people. Now, even the buses are driven by Punjab people, is insane. And you can tell they are new comers, because some of them can barely speak English. But is a well-known fact: Once one of them is in, they will make sure to bring in as many of their countrymen as possible, and only them. The DEI department of my company approved a Punjab manager, and now more than half of the staff is Punjab. So entitled these Indian students. It's not even a thing Canadian government should be accommodating. Of course police from both countries should be involved to catch the scammers, other than that, Canada has no obligation under any circumstances to take in these students as immigrants by giving out any other permits.

Holy shit the fact that its Indian's chanting fair rules is so ironic. These people are the biggest scammers, lying on visa/school applications, lying about education and job experience, scamming driving schools so people with no driving experience are getting licenses, mortgage scams, food bank scams, I could go on and on. They have taken so much advantage and treated our country so badly, that even Canadian liberals, the most welcoming and pro-immigrant people on earth are sick of them.

Coast to coast it's the same story: Liberal govt let useless 'paper mill' schools (mostly run by Indian scammers) fill the country with these kids with BS sales promotion of a path to PR status (most don't need or care about becoming citizens lol). The Liberals are toying with granting them PR status, but they know this will likely cost them the election. These kids are creating housing capacity problems, creating overcrowding on transit and in healthcare. Local charities are slammed with extra mouths to feed, and grocery stores are experiencing a spike in shoplifting because these kids did not come with enough money to house and feed themselves. The student visa program has been abused by criminals of course, so there's a spike in gangster activity and even a political assassination in Surrey BC. It's a crap show and the solution is for 500,000 of them to head home ASAP. (Yes, this may create a temporary shortage of fast food workers and delivery people, but I'll take my chances.)

Even Canadian born Indians are annoyed theres too many Indian immigrants entering Canada. Most are useless students who apply to B-rated colleges like Algoma or Conestoga (who makes millions off of them), and then dont get good paying jobs afterwards. Because they studied useless programs. These Indian students use college as a loophole to gain fast PR in Canada. Majority of them are scammers. Some become nurses and truckers because thats where the demand is. Then they sponser their entire families from India. This contibutes to over population growth, where the demand is high, and housing supply is low. Families will also pool their money together to buy houses. Problem: The Government Allows it.

In all fairness India is #1 the most racist country in the world, the least trusted country in the world and the only race that will use white names culturally appropriate and hold businesses that hire only Indians, and scam English countries. See the Uber driver that was murdered by an old man being scam. That was Indian scammers. They never face consequences for their behaviour.
