Canadians having to wait weeks for a doctors appointment. Fix that first Turd.

American GDP per capita is lopsided by tech giants that bring money from all over the world but employ small numbers compared to other industries. Take that out its just Russia. If the USA doctors charged 200k for surgey, the gdp went up 200k but the patient is now bankrupt. \n\nCanada messed up with immigration and handing out study permits. There was never a need for low skills foreign workers and diplomas that taught zero skills to international students. The root cause the crony capitalism that drives down wages and workers quality of life. Nothing will change until workers get back power they had in 50s and 60s.

Canadian here. Didn't know about the American copay for doctor visits !!! For a comparison I had something wrong last year and had to go daily to doctor appointments for over a month. I spent money on gas, 1 parking ticket (messed up one day with free on street parking), and a huge box of Tim Hortons doughnuts for the clinic staff as a thank you gift when it was all over ❤ the copay sounds horrific and explained so much. Thank you for sharing your experience in America.

Canadian doctors don’t want to communicate with their patients by email or phone because they want us go in person so they will get paid. You cannot call in and ask to repeat a medication either you have to go in and visit them in person so they can get paid. My last visit to my family doctor presented like 8 missed appointments with her and wanted\n me to pay.? I asked where did you generate those from? She claimed the system.?‍♀️ I ended up paying for one only which was a physical app. I knew about and she waved the and still make mi paid.

Im Canadian with a lot of health issues. Many trips to the ER, the longest I have had to wait, was about 15 mins. And if it was real serious, I was seen by a doctor immediately. I hear people complain about wait time, but the problem we have is that many people take advantage of the ER instead of making an apt with their family Dr. So if it's not an emergency and you go to the E.R. you will wait.

Third class education in Canada .The facilities in india is 1000 times better for middle class people,You cant get doctors appointment even in 6 months ,For driving license trail 6 months Qubec full of racists .So it is like dur ke dhol suhane

11:47 canadian have borh system. Free and slow or you go to private and you pay but service is fast. So at least everybody have acces to health care. And if you whant faster service you have the option to have private service if you pay. Also if you have major problem even if it free you will pass really really fast. So if you are gona die exemple you dont pay anything plus the pass you right away without any wait even if it free. At the entrance you explain your problem and they classify your problem has urgent or not. If someone in worst shape come after you even if you arrive before they pass you before you. That mean if many urgent person person arrive after you that day and you came just for a cold... then for sure you will wait long. Comon sens because when it free sometimes people abuse and go see the doctor for anything all the time

Canadian medical you only need to pay for aside from designer meds is unneccesary operations .. but theres a loophole .. all you need do is go to your family doctor or a drop in clinic and get the doctor to write a note stating its needed for your health and boom its covered by medical ... so the having to pay for a foot operation is bs or it was a pure vanity thing

I am Canadian at the time I speak of I was recovering from hip replacement, an American lady was brought into my room from broken hip replacement surgery and no insurance, she was accepted as a patient, there was a meeting around her bed what they were planning to do to ,put her on a commercial flight home, for the fee she couldn't pay, the doctor told her he would for go his fee but couldn't say what the hospital would do about their fee, happily she was sent on her way home quickly, would this happen in America?

Hospital closing here many and lay off migrants don't pay we're paying taking half of year to get an appointment so hospital don't get money and migrants don't have money strained us to breaking point migrants are costing us big money we are closing many hospitals migrants free health we pay for nurses and doctors

Let me take your story further. There been a number of suicides amongst Indian students, some have been hooked on drugs, some girls have turned to prostitution and many girls have been sexually take advantage by their Indian / Punjabi landlords and employers. The situation is dire. My advice: Stay in India, the education is better, the social life is better, the food is better, the vibe is better. Money is not everything. Being happy is. Canada has cleaner air, water & streets but the cost is very high. It's a struggle not just for immigrants or students, it's hard for locals. To buy an average detached home (bungalow) in Toronto / Vancouver is over C$1 million. To qualify for a mortgage with 20% down payment, one would need an income of $200,000. FYI, that's a doctors salary.

War is unisex. So Any belief OR mal-education into gender is irrelevant and voided by the very concept of war and dying. Psychological health only becomes a factor if you hyper focus on it. Immigrants are young people usually. These are persons who do not go to doctor often, let alone do surgery. I really doubt they can be a burden for social net. In many countries immigrants pay much more taxes than whey receive back in government spending.

We have way too many here it's creating resentment. It'd be like living in India but literally every place you went all u see is white ppl speaking English and not respecting Indians culture. After years of seeing your quality of life and services decline you'd get upset too. If u had kids that can't even find a summer job because they're all taken by foreigners or can't find an apartment to live in then that's where problems start. Imagine getting hurt but your wait to see a doctor is 12 hours because 100 east Indians are there at the ER slowing things down because they can't even speak our language. If they want to stay in the USA, fine—that's their choice. But they shouldn't be allowed back in India when it suits them, nor should their relatives be allowed to demand their presence when needed. Instead, the Indian government should video-call them regularly, showing them all the new facilities and opportunities being created here, even planning a new city just for their return! Let’s see if they really care about India or just enjoy foreign comforts while pretending to miss home...

Many students leaving Canada came without proper research, seeking only white-collar jobs but ending up at Tim Hortons. Nursing, constrution jobs, rulal jobs, has no issues here, and there’s no need to go back. Still, many Indian parents only want to say their child is an engineer or doctor, not a nurse or construction worker—despite these jobs being well-paid and in demand. Canada is more than just Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary—there are entire provinces most international students don’t even know exist. Move there early, not at the last minute! Change your mindset, be flexible, and you will succeed!

I think there should be co-pay some nominal charge for seeing a doctor because I think in Canada, it’s abused people get a runny nose they run to the doctor. You have a cold.
