I was never a fan of Trudeau, but compared to Trump he is a breath of fresh air. Give it 3 years and 10 months and Americans will be back to sanity. Don't know if America will be in one piece though. They have been putting our corporations out of business that compete with them here by giving those Canada companies subsidies so they can sell their materials cheaper than ours. It’s really crazy how people were so happy to pay more money for everything when Biden’s people manipulated us to think it was important to support Ukraine’s war and that was why prices were going up. Now, no one wants to support businesses coming to the US. \nThere are way worse things than prices going up for a few years. We do need to start chipping away at that $36trillion. We are the 1st country to not go belly up with the GDP ratio to debt as high as ours. Economists that aren’t connected to our government and top CEO’s said last year that it didn’t matter who was president, our dollar will reset and our economy will crash. So, somebody has to do something. Trump and his people has to think outside the box to stop it. Especially if interest rates don’t go down, because if we can’t pay the interest and our corporations can’t either, the crash will happen.

All that canadians need from Trudeau not a speech and not his replacement but election which he does not want to give to Canadians.

The reason for this 'trade war' is not about 'trade'. It's about 'creating chaos' so that president Trump is the 'centre' of world attention. A malignant naracistic individual apparently cannot have anyone seemingly to be 'doing better' or being more successful than he is. Canada ?? is a very successful nation and because of its economic success it is creating envy and apparently hatred in certain individuals who view the success of Canada ?? as a threat to themselves. The USA now apparently cannot see the value of a strong and stable economy as its near neighbours. Thats why apparently there are some who now want to crash the Canadian economy and when times then 'get tough' the blame and responsibility for this chaos will be accepted by whom. Presidents and Prime Ministers come and go. Once their 'term is over' they simply 'walk away'. World leaders need to be men or women of integrity and honesty who 'do the right thing'. With 'great power' comes 'great responsibility'. You only 'give responsibility' to someone who has the wisdom and expertise and understanding in order to both 'hold' and 'govern' wisely and without fear or favor. Maybe its time for others in positions of authority in other institutions to step in and 'take control'. You would never let a child drive a super car on the highway so how much 'damage' has to happen before a world leader is not 'held to account' and his 'hands removed' from the steering wheel before there is a motor accident so large that the freeway is rendered unless and has to be totally shut down your. You cannot have total power in the hands of individuals who apparently do not possess the necessary skills knowledge and experience and wisdom that is required to fulfil the role they were elected to fulfil. A person with the mind and mentality of a child apparently is not a fit person to be running the economy of any nation. Everyone can anticipate dumb Trump’s response - really no need to give him air time to say it. He’s a traitor to his country, its people, to his countries allies. It would be dumb to continue to cover Trump as if he is worth covering. He is no longer the leader of the free world and he is no longer the most powerful leader in the world. Build products that other countries want at a price that makes sense. The EU has no laws that prevent American car manufacturers from selling their cars in Europe. American car companies make shitty cars. They make cars that are too big, that don't make sense for European where streets can be very small and gas is very expensive. The US manufacturers don't make a single small car in thos country that can compete with European cars. US agricultural products are laced with poisonous chemicals that are outlawed in the EU because they kill people. Our governmeent doesn't give a shit about that because to grow healthy food means you have to cut profits, almighty dollars, instead of grow things that the rest of the world will accept. We have an idiot for president who thinks he knows more than anyone else and an idiot party that won't tell him the truth. This is going to cost us big time. We are going into recession, probably a long one because we don't have real leaders and the president on his best day is nothing more than a reality TV personality, and not a very entertaining one at that.

@robertedward7023 It can but I think Trump is right on this one. Zelensky needs to realize that he won't get his land back that Russia took, and that negotiating is the only way to come to peace now. He's living in a fairytale world fighting an unwinnable war. I think the US is right to pull the plug on financial aid to try to pressure Zelensky to negotiate to end the war. Unfortunately, to end the war Ukraine will likely have to concede the land they lost. But the reality is Putin will never give that land back. But it's better than more people dying everyday. Zelensky has gotten all too comfortable relying on financial aid and as a result he hasn't been willing to try anything new (like negotiate) to get this war finished. If we keep sending him money, nothing will change. Now he has pressure to negotiate. the US and Canada can't keep sending money to Ukraine for the next 20 years while this war carries on.

What has Canada and European countries done to actually try and end the death and destruction from this war? Europe buys energy from Russia, and Canada is only giving 650 million dollars in weapons over three years, while America has supplied hundreds of billions of dollars in aid and military equipment. Zelensky goes around the world dressed in a military outfit with no desire to stop the slaughter of humans on both sides. There have been thousands of wars where, eventually, one side has to accept the reality that they can not win, Zelensky is unwilling to see this. President Trump was elected because we want his AMERICA FIRST AGENDA, and with us saddled with 36 TRILLION dollars of debt, this war needs to stop.
