So by 2027 throughout Canada there is a potential for 50,000 immmigrants seeing their citizenship potential removed and deportation proceedings starting. All this just to reduce the flood of immigrants which has increased crime rate, homelessness, and health care crises across the nation.

We all know that we will NOT see those 2.9 Million leaving Canada.... Just like the 'student visas' and all the other visas these people get - its just to get IN - once in then they NEVER plan to leave. Watch your crime levels go the Moon folks!

I live in a similar area in the UK. Many people can't see how communities are being destroyed. I feel for Canada. I visited Quebec and prefer there as the French language stops this from happening there!

I'm sorry, but if an individual is making <$57,000/yr they are NOT middle class; particularly with the current cost of living crisis in Canada. That income level is where middle class begins, so anything less than the $57k/yr is considered lower class. So, again, another indicator that the Canadian government doesn't actually care about the middle class and is fine seeing it dwindle further.

I came to Canada legally as refugee in early 90's. At 16, speaking almost no English, I was enrolled in High School and got a job in McDonald's. But even then my clear understanding was that the job was temporary. My managers told me the same thing. I went to university and immediately switched up. It is infuriating to see that fast food jobs are careers for middle aged people, gaming the system and my kids won't have the opportunity to experience the very natural and normal experience of getting into the job market

The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. Instead, Canada is a joke to the far right and in fact fuels the far right in the US. Now with the global south amassing on the US's northern border (visit Halifax, NS if you have any questions about this), I view Canada as a threat to the USA - which is a nation with more than enough problems. The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. Not sure why this isn’t country wide. I came to Canada as a legal immigrant 40 years ago worked and paid taxes my whole life. Pains me when I see fake refugee claimants getting free dental while I pay through the nose. And many such injustices. Here's my life in canada. denied work. As an indian, I feel sad to see that this is Canada, nobody would want anyone's country to change like this. pls deport most of them, they can't even speak English. I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. I don't think most Canadians have a problem with Indians. I think we have a problem with our government who is not able to enforce a policy that puts the country first. It’s very interesting because Indians seem to be more thick skinned than Canadians in general, so even white ppl’s reservations or microaggressions don’t register to them and they just keep expanding on positivity. I’ve met many Indian people in Canada and it almost seems like they’re so positive and community minded that they think it’s small minded to be stingy about sharing space, which can clash with the general reserved nature of Canadians but also make you feel embarrassed in a way about being judgmental. You even see it in this video with the white guy asking judgey questions to Indians but he gets showered with food and hospitality from the Indians. No matter how you fight it you kind of get overpowered by their positivity…

Brampton is a prime example of a failed immigration policy, no integration, complete enclave mentality. They are doing it all across Canada - my family is from Caledon just outside of Brampton and it has been incredibly sad to see how it has changed negatively over the years.

India is a commonwealth country the same a Canada. They speak English. This has something to do with immigration from India. It’s interesting to see that immigrants from Poland think they are superior immigrants.
