Trump et al expect Canada to seal the US border but they don't seal the Canadian border from guns and drugs. Now Trump is contributing to war crimes by supporting criminals Putin and Netanyahu and endangering the people of the world with their aggression.

Trump cannot hold Canada responsible for individuals who become addicted to drugs, overdose, and die. That responsibility lies with the country where these incidents occur, not with another nation. His comments don't make sense unless he is attempting to find a different excuse to jack Csanada up with the tariffs. Shame on you, Trump.

You go PM Trudeau - America needs you more than Canada needs America. If America wanted to stop drug movement, it should have gone after those drug thugs instead of going after identifiable by color, hard working men, women and children.

Please keep in mind, that all the issues we have in Canada are because of Trudeau. He's been in power for almost a decade. The widespread drug abuse and crime is because of him being weak on policy and handing out drugs like candy paid by tax payers. More people died from fentanyl in Canada than our soldiers in WWII. By the numbers Canada illegal border crossings and Fentanyl crossing volume might pale in comparison to Mexico but it’s important to note that it’s still a rising problem they’ve yet to fully understand. Look at how much of the Northern US border is unguarded compared to the southern border. This tariff war between the US and Canada is no doubt a problem but Canada is absolutely a part of the reason it exists. In the end please remember there’s always two sides to every story and mainstream media is anything but objective when it comes to how they cover them.

Trump is attempting to offset his tax cuts by implementing a tax that isn't called a tax. All of the money from the tariffs goes to the government. Trump has mentioned when tariffs were common as supporting what he is doing, but he doesn't add that at that time, there wasn't an income tax, so tariffs were how the government supported itself. Trump, knowing that tariffs are income for the government, is lying to his base so they will accept the increased prices as a necessary evil to battle the bad countries of Mexico and Canada. It will look like his tax breaks aren't hurting as much as they are and price increases will be the fault of the other countries.\n\nTrump is a conniving grifter with no knowledge of how to run a country's economy or international trade. Why is it other countries' fault for drugs getting past the US's border agents, but not the fault of the US that guns and drugs are going in the other direction? How dare our president and his cronies blame Canada for the US drug addicts demand for drugs from our southern borders. All the drug cartels in Mexico.
