My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. The other side of my family fled Bolshevism when they left Russia and came here and that side had the exact same hope in freedom to work hard and prosper. Now all generational wealth, freedom, prosperity and hope is all but completely stolen. We don't need more regulations. We don't need more benefits. We don't need more Government. We need less, we need it all to go away because I know for a fact, you give people the freedom to go about their lives, the society or community they form, always tends towards peaceful, prosperous organization. You give people the freedom to build and produce and they'll get after it immediately and that opens the door for all other manner of trades and skills that just fill any hole in a community or society. And that's a fact about the organizational tendencies of human beings. There's nothing stopping us from providing for ourselves but a cartel Government in the business of extortion and human enslavement. They foment chaos and division in order to justify the revoking of more freedoms to enslave more people. People themselves, they look to get along, get to work, raise families and, as best they can, enjoy life. Once we start expecting a Government to take care of us we've institutionalized prisoners who have lost all human dignity. When you "buy in" to all the rhetoric of so called autonomy, ask yourself, how autonomous are you without a family? Just because you're alone in a box in a city, stacked one on top of the other, weighted down by a landslide of rules, collecting benefits from the Government, doesn't make you autonomous. People say, "no one can afford a family". Yet those coming in have large families and they seem to be making out just fine. It's the brainwashing of our culture that set us up. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.

Maybe it’s not too late if your government can figure out to modify some of the immigration laws that will give back the power, the benefit, and advantage to a natural born Canadian. 800 thousand foreigners coming in in the last three months? Our laws about accepting refugees and asylum seekers need to get better. These new comers are changing Canadas as I write this. Our Canadian ways are being disregarded and disrespected. And allowing this new comers to dictate how they can live here. It’s not like what it was where we need to be qualified to live and immigrate to Canada. Now these new comers are trashing our parks, scamming good samaritans, scheming to get support from our government, and lastly, changing the demographics in Canada. Our laws need a better champion so the majority of good law abiding, good hearted, true Canadian citizens a better Canada. A Canada that allows good lawful immigrants to create a good future for their families. Adapting to our Canadian ways like , qualifying for work base on knowledge, skill, adaptability, acceptance, tolerance, and the heart to show love not on the base of the color of your skin, religion, nationality, gender, or creed. Canada is so much more and shouldn’t be changed by new comers that want to push their ways, beliefs, religion and agenda for their own benefit. No Canadian should be pushed to accept these new comers ways into our future.

People are hating unfairly on immigrants when it is the government is at fault for not managing immigration better. Let's not forget that Canada was built on immigration and collectively most immigrants do contribute to the good of Canadian society. I am an immigrant, I have never felt that any one group is forcing anything on me. I live my life, pay taxes, do my civic duties , mind my business , don't bother anyone and try to get along with everyone regardless . Yet I have been verbally attacked several times because I am non white. So I often wonder who is truly Canadian and if you are of "colour" will you forever be a hyphenated Canadian even if you are 3, 4 , 5 th or multigenerational born and bred in Canada. The high cost of living and unaffordabilty of housing is one thing, declining national fertility rates another and immigration is another. To me, It looks like Canada's immigration policy needs urgent reform and yes, immigrants should leave their baggage at the door.

If I remember right canada first house crises was in the 19’s something and back then they started making more houses to resolved this problem………………..,… And I am thinking that getting immigrants from only 1 country might not be good, because of countries, society mentality…………. This entire video is why Canada needs Pierre Poilievre. He will get the economy going again. I almost completely support everything he says. My problem comes with his comments on Fentanyl. Please, this medication is a game changer for so many suffering daily in agony with chronic pain or deadly conditions. For those who need it medically, it is strictly controlled and monitored. Fentanyl is “eaten” by pain, so for those who need it there is no high, just relief.\nThose on it legally already have to deal with a great amount of prejudice, being treated as addicts and dealers when they are just trying to find a way to survive immense pain everyday. This medication allows them to get out of bed, to attend school or work, to have a life. It gives them hope and relief. \nThe opioid crisis is real, but those on a prescription are not the cause. Canada already has some of the strictest protocols in the world for this medication, leaving many people in agony as they loose access to it. \nDon’t take away something that is saving them. The drug is not wrong, those selling it illegally are in the wrong.

Trudeau's words are smoke and mirrors a bit imo. Liberals will go forward with an additional 20% carbon tax dispitie the tariffs occurring. Trump isn't the only one that is harming Canada in one way or another. Trump is forcing Canada to do better with our borders and crisis's that had not been addressed quickly enough. I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. The USA does not need Canada, who's not getting the message loud and clear? ?

There is a lot of talk on Fentanyl headed south, but no mention by Canada of how much of the drug heads north. I can't be zero. There has to be transit of the drug from the USA into Canada.\n\nBut what I truly don't understand, is that what heads south is not crossing through the Canadian border. All south bound traffic needs to go through US Border patrol agents. So by that measure, how is Canada not doing its job? I've crossed into Canada many times and have been asked to pull over for a search of my vehicle more times than I've been searched on my return to the USA, which was once, my very first crossing in 2002. \n\nMy only guess is the problem isn't fentanyl, that's just a distraction and by design a way to get people believing in something that isn't true and to help further the rift.

Soon as these countries don’t get the money they want from the US all of a sudden we’re enemies. The US has included grants into the budget for Canada for decades. They need to pay now

This is not anti-American, it is just fighting back from an unnecessary trade war. It does however break my heart because many Canadians have family on the U.S. side. I know it would also break my father’s heart as he grew up in New England and had a lifetime affection for the U.S. I despise politics and have not been a proud Canadian for a few years but I have to admit that this speech is getting me going again. Canada needs to get its act together and rebuild its military, not to fend off the U.S. but to hold its own should other countries decide we are ripe for the picking. I want U.S.-Canada relations to be tight again. We’re neighbor. We will have our disagreements and that’s fine but these trade wars will hurt everyone and, if it lasts, may leave lasting grievances.

Every country should be responsible for their own goods. The day we start relying on other countries for what we need we're in a heck of a mess. Because China couldn't get our merchandise to our plant we had to shut down for almost a month. We messed up sending some of our work to China. After this we got everything in the US. Cheaper prices are not the solution. Cheaper labor is not the answer. Canada has taken advantage of the US for far too long; the US needs jobs; manufacturing in the US will bring jobs back; forcing Canada to trade fairly will bring manufacturing back to the US. If Trudeau wants a trade war, he will lose. We can get those raw materials from other sources.
