Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

No, recruiters dont deceive! Students and the agencies are fully aware of what is their ultimate goal. Enter through some unrecognized colleges and gain PR. Recrutiers have contacts with small colleges and give them business by sending students to Canada. Students are well informed in this day and age what channels to use. There are recruiting agencies in every nook and corner of India sending students for decades.

Indians are invading every country in the world. They buy a lot of businesses and only employ their people. Canadians do not want to lose their identity and culture. Their doing mass invasion.

Many shady businesses are selling LMIA for 50to80K.. they do it every year.

I was never racist or taught to see people of other ethnicities or religions as inferior so I don't hate Indians, nor do I show them disrespect unless warranted but the rampant abuse of our systems has messed up so many things. I know of large families of Indians who came as asylum seekers who'd come over separately while claiming different names so when they all come together some families are getting $30k or more per month just for being here. They drive expensive new luxury vehicles and mostly wear expensive designer clothes and are given homes while at the same time us Canadians born and raised here are struggling to even get to eat well every day or have a home to begin with. It's not entirely the fault of Indians, the blame also needs to be shared by our gov't as well since they opened the borders and have mostly waived the process of vetting who comes into our country. It's never a bad thing to have people who genuinely add to the collective greatness of a country but we have let in too many freeloaders and even criminals, the Indian gangs extorting businesses for millions in BC and Alberta for example. Nothing wrong with Indian immigrants as long as we can balance the needs and safety of everyone involved as well. Right now there is no balance and the results are catastrophic. Canada never used to be host to so much divide and hatred as it is now, we can thank Trudeau and his people for that.

Present Canadian govt is dependent on DNP of Jagmeet Singh (Khalistani supporter). He can make Trudeau dance to his tune. Canadians of Indian origin mostly from Punjab are Khalistani sympathizers and they have fomented enough trouble locally in Canada and are primarily responsible for the poor relations between India and Canada. \n\nSecondly Indian emigration is of highly skilled work force consisting of doctors, scientists, financial experts, bankers, professors, businessman, politicians, and logistics business experts etc. They contribute to the treasury by paying the highest taxes than any other immigrant including european settlers. By and large Indians are peace loving people and excel in their fields. Now Indian origin people are into politics and Canada has a few MPs of Indian origin serving as ministers of defense, foreign affairs etc. \n\nThis xenophobia has to stop. Every wave of immigrants to the new continents have faced these problems be it Irish, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or East European immigrants. The process of assimilation takes a long time and in the meantime there would be some hiccups to which the society will eventually adapt. Every new immigrant group faces hostility from the earlier settled immigrants. It's much harder if the new immigrants don't look like the earlier settled immigrants. This is natural !!!.

I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. We have enough of our own assholes

I live in Canada. Every country has its own problems i believe.\nBut what i have seen here is the taxes we pay gets paid back in terms of continuously improving infrastructure, free healthcare and free education. You dont need to bribe to get any govt related work done. \nWhile i was paying ~33% tax in India and was getting nothing back from govt in return. Despite what our despots say.\nThis has pissed the normal swagman in the streets off no end ! Little do they realise, that even if we the Serfs had a week long protest to stop the government making stupid decisions, it would not deter them for a minute !

There are skilled immigrants here willing and able to work, already! They are the thousands of mothers who have absolutely no support with childcare. I know pharmacists, teachers, business graduates, and other professional women who are stuck at home. Schools have unreliable times, somedays school starts at 8:00 other days at 8:45, the children are let out at even worse times; somedays 11:30, other days 12:30, and sometimes 13:15. The kindergartens will call with every kind of excuse to have your child picked up early, and, of course, shortage of staff. And there is the asnwer to the problem! Educators are not paid enough and no one wants to become one I don't see how this will get any better in the future. It may be a good place if you are skilled and don't have a family, if you do, Germany is not a place for you.

Walked the amazing city of Toronto across Bloor, down Yonge to King Street across to Bathurst yesterday afternoon. No issues at all. Seems like the Toronto i was born and raised in. Saw a concert then walked from Ontario Place up to King and across to University between 11:00pm to around 12:30. Smiled as I saw countless couples sitting on benches enjoying the cities energy. Bars were busy. Women waiting for buses, going to walks, grocery runs. Subway was busy for 1am with every walk of life, including four 4 20 something young women heading back home after a night out.\n\nLove my city.\n\nSad some people don't get to know her and just bag on her for political reasoning.

Lived in the US for 4 years and bought 5 rental properties in my home country. Now I'm retired at the age of 34. It was the best decision I have ever made. I am now building a business and want to expand to Canada for my actual retirement. The US is great to work but when it's time to settle down I'd rather choose a slower country.\n\nBut tbh it can also be achieved in a good republican state in the US but I am assuming there will be a civil war there with all the woke ridiculous stuff happening there. We had not communicated in a long time BUT... I think you were surprized how much you enjoyed to exploration of Russia a few years ago but quality of life was very good then but even better now, but retaining the unmatched access to culture, very low cost of living much lower crime rate than Canada/US/Europe, and cost of living about 1/10th of Canada, great health and easy to get a residency and citizenship due to being from Ukraine originally. For your travels, it is a little more complicated due to US sanctions but from here in St Petersburg it is really easy to travel by bus to Estonia and fly anywhere in the world. Estonia is the cheapest cost of living in the Baltic. I have flown to California several times using that route and to London the flight is $50 euros. \nAlthough you explored a lot here there is so much more to see and experience.\nThere is no doubt the western countries that relied on cheap labor and resources from colonies are all in a downward spiral and the east is rising. All the BRICS countries have positive growth in quality life and economic growth and a total of 108 countries have either applied or expressed serious interest in joining the largest trade block in history while the US empire fades at an accellerating rate. I would not go back the the crime, homelessness, anger, poverty of the US but have family business to take care of every 4-5 years. The decline is not a temporary downturn, the banking collaps that is accelerating now and impossible to pay back debt, it is really sad to see how the US is turning out. When growing up in California we had everything , really the golden state but is a wreck now. Same story, also moved to Canada(French Canada!!! :D) when I was 4, I'm 32, been in Canada like 24 years. Easy fit, my Dad was Canadian, so got Naturalized easily. I left Canada at the end of 2020. Mostly because of Covid/Work Opportunities in engineering. Now living in the USA with my Canadian Wife and visiting Canada 2 months every year, also happen to be born American, so again, easy(easier**, still hard) move for me. Currently working in engineering, less travel experience, but I did get to visit or work for long period of time in 5 countries. Anyway, I do have similar opinion, I think the solution is a federal housing initiative. We NEED to build north and have more cities than Toronto,Montreal & Vancouver. It would reduce rent & mortgage by a lot. Essentially solving the ''where are we going to put all those immigrants issue'', then secondly, we need to encourage entrepreneurship and business a lot more. We need more jobs and be less reliant on our USA neighbors or EU neighbors 3. Better transport, surprisingly a lot of Canadian don't visit all other Canadian province and prefer traveling out , hell, I want nothern Canada & Nothern Quebec to be more like Alaska, or make it easier from someone from Quebec to move to Alberta, but still easy enough to visit family and friends in their home state in under 3 hours. ;)

Great assessment. My wife left Vancouver 22yrs ago. It was bad then and has only gotten worse. Sadly the residents would rather smoke a joint than vote for a conservative govt and attend a church. Forget about GOD can't be surprised when he forgets about you. That said Australia is not much better and getting worse by the day. The reason govts love immigrants is because they bring money in and are obivious to the local politics so the govts simply continue to introduce more and more corrupt policies every year. I have only been in Canada for seven months now, but I noticed a few things about its economy that led to this mess. I noticed that Canada has no globalized companies, meaning the government only makes a little money from doing business with other nations. Businesses here are lazier than their neighbor, the USA, or even in my country, Vietnam, which could be due to a lack of competitors. Cad also has the biggest forest reserve and largest oil deposit but is the lowest exporter. So I wonder how on Earth it stays in the top 10 wealthiest countries with such lazy activities. Up to this point, foreigners are the biggest income of Canada; this country is truly built on immigrants. To keep the country running, it must attract more foreigners. Without int' students, how much do citizens have to pay to keep schools running? If you view it differently, the government also sells the PR through SV Visa because, let's be honest, if millions of investors have invested, there should be something or at least one globalized company, but there are none. From $75k to $200k, foreigners can buy PR for every family member. It is considered affordable for Asian families compared to the USA or Australia. On top of that, another scam is a carbon tax, which means the government needs to learn how to make money rather than invent taxes and sell dreams to foreigners.

As a son of an immigrant, immigration is not the issue. Quality immigration is. These days all Canada is bringing in are students that make college and university owners rich and keeps businesses like Tim Horton's running with low spending. While the big corporations get rich, every Canadian is being hurt.

I am centre-left and I am up to here with immigrants. But the government is just NOT hearing what the country is screaming. Immigrants only ‘have a lot to contribute’ if we stop accepting unskilled workers. I am so tired of having service workers who don’t understand English, and immigrants buying up every fast-food franchise and small business. It is profoundly de-stabilizing for our culture. Every business aims the Indian market. Same goes for the Canadian diplomas. As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. Now, look at the Chinese. While most young Americans are busy dancing in TikTok and the likes of wasting time for entertainment, most young Chinese are studying hard and upskilling. Let's remember that America became great because of its inventions and extremely the nuclear power. Without great minds, minds that are feebled by drugs and misguided philosophies, a society will crumble. USA can use its weapons and influences against other countries, but can it hold the progress of it's rival economy for the rest of the years? You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. Of course he wasn't able to accomplish his plan before after you guys impeached him. How the hell can a leader complete its plan after being halted unprecedentedly amid his administration? Kamala Harris looks promising but not convincing. Aura, although unquantifiable, do speak something. Choose your leader and it will choose your fate. Let's hear what the two sides will share this upcoming debate. If I'm American, whoever wins that debate, wins my heart. As easy as that. You see, if someone can be defeated so easily in his or her country through debate, do you think that whoever that someone who wins will be able to compete globally? Think of the likes of Putin and Xi Jinping. Think of a leader who can communicate with them effectively. That's all for me. Thank you

North America should focus on lock away all the pedos far away from anyone under the age of 25 , then focus on this immigration issue with new people in leadership positions therapy and construction of stacked businesses for example on top of every coffee shop creating community jobs walk distances and other ideas that function well

It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

most newcomers to any country struggle especially since most are not bringing in wads of cash to start a business but literally scraping in using life savings just to get here - however once here with residential status a national health care and level of income security for unemployment benefits is an added bonus which you won't get in every country regardless of residency status but refugees and others come in with no money at all as well as problems in some cases with language barriers, but as bad as everyone thinks it is the grass is not greener on the other side just because you're paying lower taxes but privatising infrastructure only makes things more expensive even when you're not taxed.... and Canada is a huge country with very limited number of tax payers such a small market would double costs for private business too - and just cos things may be cheaper you may find you don't fit as well as you thought..... and also the more you move the less time you have to settle and grow into the space you find yourself now....I've lived in 3 very different countries so I understand how difficult it is.... and how some places regardless of cost just fit better than others.... I love Toronto... but would not want to live in Vancouver or Texas for very different reasons... and don't judge a city by people who don't know how privileged they are to live in Toronto or anywhere in Canada really they should try living in India or Russia or even South Africa... places may be cheap but the lifestyle isn't worth much as a result of being failed states - even USA is falling apart road by road bridge by bridge.....of course there's hope for all of them eventually.... but if you don't like it it's probably best you leave.... if you don't want Canada why would Canada want you.... your just bringing the nation into disrepute

Vancouver real-estate is essentially a money laundering operation for rich foreigners looking to stash their money somewhere. Protections were put in place a little to late back in 2016 with the foreign buyers tax. But honestly most of these foreigners can either be exempt from this tax with their citizenship loop hole (anchor baby) Or honestly they just pay the fine since they can afford it and just need to get their money out of the country they are coming from. Its quite dystopian because building more homes like the government keeps promising isn't going to solve the problem either. This is because its just going to add more to the volume of housing that the foreigners can buy up from the locals and adding more fuel to the problem. Immigrations Canada is lying to new comers. To top it off, BC just recently passed a law in 2024 where you can no longer build single family residences in the lower mainland area. WHERE are the families going to go then? Can anyone even afford a family anymore? Vancouverites like myself who were diligent and saved every penny are walking away from mortgages in droves because who wants to lock into a 30 year term amortization period where at rate plus prime your looking at 5.5%-7% where the bank makes more than double in interest from you. Over the course of 30 years you still lose because even if your property appreciates past double. Capital Gains will take into effect. Your loosing money no matter what! It truly is a nightmare designed to enslave you financially. This is simply wealth creation suicide. Came from immigrant parents in the 1990s, I slaved for 10 years during my twenties, didn't come from wealth, didn't party, didn't have fun, studied hard, and started a business and I still cant break into the Vancouver market. So I ended up just barely squeaking into the market in Abbotsford. Vancouverites as a whole are screwed. Time to pack up and move to Alberta I suppose. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. Majority of the students who came after the pandemic were business professionals who took the pandemic as an opportunity to get back to education. They chose Canada because of its beauty and friendly people. The reality of which is they paid 3 times as much tuition as a Canadian, got abused at their work place for bare minimum wage. They paid a hefty price for a degree that no country recognizes. Its funny how your PM cashed your CERB cheques with the cash of international students. Its sad how Indian students follow the legal process to enter your nation and get hate for being illegals. Students who have a CRS score 500+ struggle to make a living while your government provides easy immigration by asylum to people who themselves burned their countries down. Its sad to be in a nation where getting a call connected to the CRA takes more time than getting political asylum. Your government spends your tax money on asylum seekers and their 6-7 kids who come with them and not international students. We bring money to your nation. 7 billion dollars is what the students bring your nation every year, while your PM sends 5 times as much to fund someone else’s war. You put a communist dictator to represent you and you are paying its price. Darker days lie ahead for Canada and they have nothing to do with Indian students.

I went to high school in Brampton in the early 80's and there were no people from India anywhere... it was very much a white anglo town, and then I moved to Montreal for 25 years to work as a fashion designer. (I remember the shock of flying into Toronto on business and walking outside to get a taxi... there was an endless line of Indian guys wearing Turbans, waiting by their taxis. It was a very strange feeling, as I was not sure if I was in Canada or India.) About 10 years ago, I moved back to Ontario to live in Guelph and had heard the joke about Brampton becoming 'Bramladesh' by people at the dog park, and in the past 5 years, (since they built the massive temple in Guelph) the place has turned into a mini India, as EVERY house put up for sale, is bought by a family from India, with 4 or 5 cars in a 2 car driveway, (strangely, as soon as they move into the house, they all rip out the asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) they seem to be a tribal people and every house is filled to capacity, as the husband and wife are with their kids, the brother and his wife and their parents, all living together. (They are friendly people and they don't cause any trouble... my only issue is the intense stench of spices from their house that fill the air 24/7 to the point that you cannot sit in the back yard or open a window, without being punched in the face from the powerful odour of spices!)

I’m tired of seeing them in every business out there. Tim’s, almost all gas stations, banks,I understand they come for a better life but you have to have a limit on how any come in. The one thing I noticed is most don’t have a common understanding of the English language. I’ve seen customers get agitated because they have no idea what you’re talking about. I avoid Brampton at all cost. Majority of the car accidents and trailers being flipped over on highways are Indians. This has to stop.

The buy in program has seen several different owners of a shell station over one yr, the buy in, and they have no concept of Canadas regulations , service, and care , safety of business. Every 7/11 is staffed by new immigrants no doubt subsidized by GovT, lots of unhappy people on this subject.

The real question is Canada vs Florida because the U.S. consists of many mini countries that have agreed on a common constitutional document and basic laws but otherwise are different countries. With that said Canada loses on every metric that matters to Florida. From economics to taxes to business to self defense and personal property Florida wins. The U.S. is secular but politicians of all nations will bring it up to some degree thinking this is somehow unique to the U.S. means you don’t understand the U.S. When it comes to political and religious diversity the U.S. has a larger population consisting of the entire world its by definition diverse. Canada doesn’t have sensible gun laws it just leaves those who can’t defend themselves at great risk.\n\nCrime is high in cities that have laws & culture closer to Canada than they do the U.S. Which have the strictest gun laws in the country. It’s bad politics & culture which are most similar to Canada that has resulted in higher crime rates. \n\nGun laws in the U.S. are for Americans to have the option to fight against a tyrannical government like we have scene in Canada with the truckers and mass freezing of bank accounts. That is what the right to bear arms was for first and foremost not just self defense. Canada ignores this entirely and instead has the perspective of give the government all the power and expect government to be “good” and act in good faith to the people which it has continually failed to do so. I was there, vancouver, around 2018 to before covid, I feel they might have gotton the welfare wrong. my salary after tax,heath insurance is 40% left to settle all my living expenses. and who benefits? eg. drug addicts wait for free drugs every morning, a women keep boring kids to get free welfare, this I heard- a refugee with 3 wives and 12 kids got at least a free house and van courtersy of the local govt, a newly minted immigrant citizen also gotten $1200 senior welfare. Just felt that normal working folks are getting a very short stick. Also not sure if the free university education is all that good, it uses a lot of tax money, but higher earnings go to labour jobs like a roofer could earn $150k vs a business admin graduate earing $60k avg .
