I like you & your attitude about coming to Canada. I’m subscribing. I feel for the young girl looking for a job. There are tons of jobs on indeed in my city. I apply for both part & full time. I apply for at least 10-20 a day. I’m not getting calls for interviews. I’ve even applied twice to one job because I was not chosen but 2 weeks later the same position was back. I’m fortunate enough to not have to work. I have a husband that makes a very good salary that pays for all of the bills , groceries & vacations. Up until Covid collapsed my 2 franchises & I was sinking more money in than making it I had to sell one for 1/3 of what I paid for it & give the other away. I started a small business at home doing lash extensions. I have my regular clients. But if I want to save my own money it’s not sustainable or steady. I want to work because I enjoy leaving my home not to just go grocery shopping or visit family. That’s even if they are home from work. I like having a purpose. I’m skilled in accounting, cleaning, sales, marketing, customer service you name it. Many might say that I’m very lucky. I am very blessed but it’s also very lonely. Plus I have always worked & had independence. I hate asking my husband to send me money so I can pay my cell, credit card bills. I don’t even go shopping without him for new clothes because I rely on him to pay for those too. Hypothetically we broke up tomorrow I’d be screwed. I worry about if he dies. There’s life insurance but we still have a mortgage to pay & monthly bills. Plus of course I’d make sure his kids got some too. Not to mention I’ve had mental health struggles with social anxiety & agoraphobia years ago. The more I stay home the more I get anxious about going out. Days can get boring & then I find myself napping all afternoon. I need a job. I just want my own money. I don’t want to go to my husband every 3 months & ask him to send me 2000.00 to clear up my overdraft for one business day. I don’t even want to have to use it. Sorry for the rant but I feel that even when filing out applications many times I’m asked if I’m racialized. In other words is my skin brown.

I worked since I was 14, (A lot of times evenings and weekends, several times, two jobs)! I am now 63, I got hurt at work! First I had to fight compensation for a year, ZERO $$$! Then I had to apply to get Disability Canada Pension because I can't physically work anymore.. (damaged back, head injury, I have to use a cane and knee braces to walk)! I spent my savings just surviving while being forced to fight for MY money from my own government for 5 years just to get a measly $300. a month! THAT'S IT! Luckily my spouse works , we paid off our house ten years ago! But, we still barely get by! Every person I speak to about my case with the government on the phone, can barely speak English and yell at me or are VERY impatient with me, because I can't understand THEM, they usually hang up! When I ask to please speak to someone IN Canada, they hang up, then I have to wait another hour to talk to someone else! (I went to 4 government funded agencies to see if I could possibly get a job working from home, because I have trouble getting out! All sent me somewhere else! One agency who is supposed to help disabled people in WPG, REES, the agent refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, * he got a supervisor to talk to me! Because he's Muslim and I'm Gay! They were continuously hostile/aggressive towards me without reason??? I volunteer at 2 different food banks , I've met TONS of people who have never worked a day in their lives, their family, parents, grandparents have never worked... EVER! Yet they have brand new trucks??? Still go to food banks? AND, several new Canadians who I've met, have never worked a day in Canada... Some with new cars??? Yet everyone else receives 10 times what I receive to live on??? I PAID TAXES ALL OF MY LIFE! We can't afford a car! Yet... I don't blame them! I would take it they offered! I blame our government (NDP, Libs, AND CONservatives) who don't give a crap about disabled and seniors in Canada! Or if you paid taxes all of your life , into a system that's supposed to help when you need it! ALL politicians in Canada just whore out their votes! I've volunteered for almost 40 years, also holding down jobs, helping others, I've never seen so may seniors and disabled people forced to access food banks and soup kitchens than the last few years! EVER! Disabled people have to constantly prove they are disabled enough to get kitchen scraps from sociopathic politicians who are over paid and under worked! Fees go up, taxes go up, housing goes up, property taxes go up, bus fairs go up, etc.. Services go WAY down! We can afford trillion$ in corporate welfare, but not help our own? Seniors can't afford to live in their homes anymore! YOU'RE WELCOME for paying for YOUR golden pensions pig politicians, and NOT helping us when we need it! POS!

I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

Now sure I wasn't in every part of Walmart but I only seen one actual Canadian born worker... Sure it can be said it's assumption on my part but I am confident with my assumption based on what I saw. Our public transportation ( bus ) there's only 4 Canadians left. Now our busses speed, don't give time for people to get on safely.... accidents almost daily. And from what I heard there has to be a shuttle bus on standby because the new drivers just make false claims of accidents and issues so shuttle has to come and pick up the people on the bus to finish the route. Our rental market is far and thin. Our homeless is Canadians NOT foreign. And we are seeking illicit activities and mind altering chemicals to deal with the stress of life more and more each day. Concerns me my son and daughter have to grow up like this. I fear for them and their future in a country that I once believed in. I'm not racist I try my best to treat everyone fairly and equally. But Canada is changing and it's causing great impact we can't handle.

The biggest problem is they come to our home to escape a hell in their own country. But then they try to turn our country into the one they ran from. They try to change the ways we who were born and raised here are aloud to live our lives as we always have. My first job ever was tim hortons. Now im watching teens unable to gain independence unless their parents i Know someoneone who can hire them meanwhile no one can understand the person taking their order at tim hortons...Canada is to expensive now and we dont have the means to support these people anymore. I was born and raised here. I've given birth to 6 children whom all have issues finding employment. Because all the jobs are taken every convenience store every timorhorns, every Taco Bell, every Burger King. Is taken their jobs and giving them to newcomers. I'm not against people coming over to our beautiful land and enjoying and contributing. Insane that? You've Come to us kindly respect us. Don't take Uber the way it is going right now. We are gonna be the minority and what's gonna happen 50 years down the road? Our great grandkids are gonna be going after the government. Looking for a handout because our government has given away all of our jobs. They've given away our security. I'm Canadian. I've spend my entire adult life involved with everything immigration. I have no problem with immigration which to me is people moving. It offers great people and great things. I have a problem with women and children abused, in violence and almost killed and our resources which are suppose to help protect the men coming here doing this because as immigrants they have value and so support anything they do to innocent people here because they have more worth as human beings than people born, raised and who lived here all their lives. Two lives viciously destroyed to protect someone sick with hate who is chronic woman hater and abuser but he must be respected for it. As someone immersed all their life in "culture" domestic violence is not culture as in immigration it's abuse and a crisis brought here and then force by law respect for it when it is already here bc it is a planet problem. For people without a lifetime of knowledge you would be shocked if knew what people think and say about us living here and what they believe from complete ignorance. It is a belief everything is owed to make lives bigger and better for them above everyone else bc they suffered somewhere else but the assumption is every person in Canada had the opportunity born here that all people should be rich and if anyone is under that standard they deserve nothing and it should be given to everyone coming in. It is understood in some groups the purpose and wants of Canadian women is providing free services to immigrant men because this is how all Canadian women chose to live as women. The expectation of women is back to the stone age to obey, speak when given permission and respect abuse. Our authorities now back that up. Don't believe me you can see evidence. We are being forced by law to change. How many persons with criminal records are here in past decade was that recent news report? There's good and bad but if you don't respect the bad then see what happens to you because suddenly you will the bad one as a Canadian so be prepared to respect and appreciate everything you spent a lifetime believing you didn't have to. Some people could write an encyclopedia of wild and bizarre things and opinions and expectations of the views others have of life here and it would make most here all their lives want to flee and leave. There are two opposite meanings of what respect is. It amounts to respect them and everything bad and disrespectful to us or we have no respect any other names. This includes not one specific culture but numerous ones and I am referring to a different one than referenced in this video. Respect divided into two opposite meanings, ignorance, lack of care, abuse, hate and so many things which our government is permitting to happen and people are losing their physical lives and becoming physically and mentally ill and it is directly related to destroying Canadians living here, killing them to force a message of change of respects and persons need to die to force it.

I love the voices of new immigrants who support Canada but they are not all. Many come just to take advantage. Those are the ones I fear. The ones who plan to take over and spread violence. I find Indian and Chinese are hardworking honest people but there will always be thieves and bad people among every culture. We need to reduce the quanity and increase the quality of the ones we allow here. We need to support our own first.

Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. Never. Everything is destroyed. This feels like India 😢😢😢. We have to stop this. They need to leave. They are not here because of war or danger for their lives. They are here to take the jobs, take over our culture and country. Now we have to be careful what we say or were called racist. I'm white I lived in the hood all my life. With black people. I have alot of black friends even family but this is so damn reducilous. Who are they a d why are they here. Canada doesn't take care of us any more. Or help us people who need it. My mother came to Canada in 1965 with her family. She learned how to speak english by watching kids shows on TV. She had 4 girls by 1979. She could speak fluent English by that time. We lived in low rentals with other immigrants. It was all about one another. The many different cultures came together and shared. We were all dirt poor, but we all accepted one another for who we are. No one was better than another. Every kid I grew up with was a tried and true Canadian. Every single one became a citizen if they weren't born here. We all learned from one another. This Canada? It's not the Canada I know. I was born in Ontario. Many of my family members are still there. They're looked down upon. What? They're Canadians but they're looked down upon for being in that same small town. It's Sad. We need another peaceful protest in Ottawa. Save our Canada.

No doubt about it, Canada is for Canadians. If you wanted to, you could deport millions of immigrants, but let's be real about the cost. The Canadian economy, its pensions, its farms, and its health sector all rely on immigrants to pay taxes and fill jobs. It's not some big conspiracy about population replacement; it's just about the economy. You can't have one without the other. Canadians aren't the only ones dealing with this. As you can tell from my name I am an immigrant from India. Been in this part of the world for almost 40 years. Educated from kindergarten with English as medium of instruction, a post graduate degree, in IT - one of the first things I did was watch, listen and learn how things are done here. Quickly acquired accent neutrality. Please and thank you . Not litter every where. I came here on my own. Nobody requested me to come here. I considered it a privilege and I took it as my obligation to integrate, not import my values or culture here. I worked, paid my taxes and never expected a handout from anybody or from the government. I loved to be the brown dot in a sea of white. I loved my new country. After the pandemic years, things have changed. There has been a sudden browning of Canada. I didn't leave India 40 odd years ago for India to come to me. NO, I am not being racist and it is not just the visual browning either. The loud, non English speaking, profusely littering, rude, entitlement-minded, anti-social, riffraff that seem to have found their way here displacing the native, white Canadians. I so miss the "eh". I was born here in Canada in 1969 and since Justin Trudeau took over as our government, everything just went downhill. I also very upset with our government bringing in millions of Immigrants and giving large handouts of of our Canadian tax dollars to support the new immigrants that our coming into Canada. Why is the government giving large hand outs to these Indian immigrants instead of helping us true Canadians who helped built this Country. It is a dam shame to see what the Liberal Government our doing to this country of ours were many are homeless, high cost of living and the high crimes that happens every day in Canada and what does the government do is let these criminals back into our streets where us true Canadians do not feel safe any more. The one thing that pisses me off is seeing is all these new immigrants coming into Canada by the thousands that are taking away our Canadian entry jobs like Walmart, McDonalds and A & W fast food restaurant where as our young born Canadian students and others can not find a job to help them pay for there school loans and get a good education degree. It's not about race or culture. It's just too much is too much. Too much for our health care system. Too much for our economy to handle. Too many jobs are now scarce. Too much is bad for the people who have paid their taxes here forever, just so one particular immigrant group can use up resources that long time generations have built. I'm not saying any particular culture, but there are too many of them. This particular culture should also be reduced because they are exploiting every mistake the government makes (from their good hearts) or loopholes to stay. Not just stay but trying to transform a country into their own. That is wrong. Most immigrants from past generations didn't come here to conquer the country. They came here to be part of a great country. Contribute to it. Make it better, not make it worse. And now here we are. How are we going to fix this? Put a very long pause on immigeation. Get rid of international students from this particular country. They have no right to stay. Stop giving licenses to unqualified people that can't read, write, speak or even understand English. It's becoming a safety issue everywhere. Again, it's not about race. It's the "too many" factor that the country can not sustain.

Because they are not trying to fit in to our society and they are causing problems for the neighbors. They receive more than born Canadians and are given jobs here over Canadians. In my apartment building they don't like to be told to stop causing noise disturbances, in fact it even gets worse when they have been asked to stop. Some of the tenants " Newcomers " seem to think they can operate a business in the apartment which means they use excessive noise to build whatever they are building. Once they have been asked to stop by other tenants and given notices they then decide to retaliate by causing further noise which is deliberately to disturb the rest of us. They try to intimidate people that they know are born Canadians like some kind of gang members. We no longer feel safe in our own homes and neighborhoods. We are tired of them using the race card for every problem they have which is usually something they caused in the first place. In this particular building on Queen st. N. in Hamilton they cause trouble in multiple different apartments which they attend. Once they have been asked to stop causing noise in one apartment they just go to one of the others and then proceed to do the same thing there. Some of the newcomers have been given more than one apartment in the same building and therefore run back and forth between those apartments and slam the door of each one over and over all day long. The management has been informed hundreds of times for a number of years and yet they have not yet dealt with the issues. There is an ongoing record of so many incidents in this building which the management has not addressed beyond a blanket notice to all tenants regarding noise complaints. The manager says things like " It's a process " and yet there seems to be no results. Is management afraid to just simply evict the trouble makers ??

They destroyed the country. You cannot even afford to rent an apartment or even move around for a job. If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society

I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded.
