Been to USA and was terrified of getting sick or hurt the whole time I was there. Our healthcare is free. Everyone possibly carrying guns was a scary thought also. The world's borders are equipped and armed with Walls, Razor wire fences, electrictified, littered with anti personnel land mines, legally allowed to shoot anyone attempting to illegally cross with 50 caliber machine fines and sniper rifles, grenades you name it,, and when tensions are high like they are now and or when clusters of illegal people breaking fighting border guards there legally allowed and usually move to the next stage which is calling in air support which includes Armed Reaper Drones with hell fire missiles,, Attack helicopters and at the minimum Light Utility to Multirole medium helicopters Armed with performance, Infared to see in the dark, UAV tracking systems, electronic warfare for tapping and listening to all electronics and shut off all electroincs when attack is ready, Armed Wirh Front large 50 Cal or Better Machine Gun,, Side wings Armed with fuel tanks, more machine guns,, Rockets, Guided Missiles,, Unguided Blitz Rockets and missiles,, Sometimes joy stick automuns fighting system,, and last most system and one of the most effective Door Gunners With Infared zooming helmets,, helmets with radio to connect to all the bombs rockets missiles to bomb on command,, and small targets the door gunners can see in the dark and in the daylight can see through bright sun trees buildings equipment etc and at you're hands is either a 50 Caliber Accurate Machine Gun, 50 caliber Sniper rifle or smaller caliber guns that fire bullets alot faster instead.

Isn’t embarrassing that these people from these Latin American countries don’t attempt to try to fix their own countries without this insanity of being born in Latin America and then they see no future in their bewildered countries and the only way to fix their existential situation is to cross the southern border illegally to go to America? It’s so freaking bizzarre! When will this stop?

Yet, Elon just fired 20 immigrant judges to slow down the processing of immigration applications. While a mass of people trying to cross our border is wrong, we should be encouraging people to follow the proper legal channels, not stopping them. The speedy processing of applications will clear the years long backlog. Either you are in or out, not in limbo. Elon's firing of immigration judges is a thinly veiled attempt to break our immigration system. Don't be fooled.

I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? As an American it feels a bit extreme, but all Canada has to do is attempt to fix their border, but your leaders would rather choose war. OK. 75% of Canadian exports go to the US while you only take 12% of ours exports. This will be a bloodbath. If Canada was a state in the USA, it would be the 4th largest economy. I have family that is from Canada, this makes me sad.

Maybe I shouldn't like this but I do. Firstly, Canada has the luxury of not really needing to protect itself, they get to spend 3% what the US does on their military so they can focus on other things, like letting immigrants into the Country to price out the native Canadians and jailing people for misusing pronouns. Also, I want to see the US become slightly more isolationist, I'll happily pay more for US products. A tariff is paid buy the businesses who attempt to pass that cost down to the consumer. We need tariffs high enough that making things in the US makes more sense to these businesses.

We each have our little flickers of time here... No one else will ever know much, if any, of what it is like to be who we are, and for the most part no one will ever really care. Our life is ultimately our life, and so long as we are not harming others in the process we must create a life of our own meaning, determining our own objects of importance and committing to their pursuance. Throughout our life we are faced with serious decisions about what we believe, who we are, and what we do, and mostly none of it is self evident. If we look we can always find a reason to regret any decision we make, move or stay, agree or disagree, take the job or quit, marry or divorce, live one path or another... In all cases whatever the choice may be, we will only know the outcome of the one we take, and none we take will ever ultimately resolve the uncertainty of life. However, perhaps it is less about getting a potential course of life right, and more about attempting to do so with an effort of self honesty and virtue. To live a life that can be looked back on with the knowledge that some of our decisions were wrong in their effects, but right in their intention of not selling ourselves short. Ultimately no matter what we do or say or believe, there will always be a great many who disagree, or judge, or become upset by our decisions. It is of essential importance that we ensure that among those people, we are not one of them.
