Saudi Arabia and the UAE have not officially taken in large numbers of Palestinian refugees for several reasons, rooted in historical, political, and strategic considerations:\n\n1. Political and Historical Context\n\t•\tArab League Policy (1950s-1960s): Many Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, follow a long-standing policy of not granting full citizenship to Palestinian refugees to preserve their right to return to their homeland. The idea is to prevent the permanent resettlement of Palestinians outside of Palestine, which could weaken their claim to the land.\n\t•\tPrevious Palestinian Expulsions: Gulf countries have had tense relations with Palestinian leadership in the past. For example, Kuwait expelled around 400,000 Palestinians after the 1991 Gulf War because the PLO supported Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait.\n\n2. Citizenship and Integration Policies\n\t•\tGulf states have strict immigration and citizenship policies, even for other Arabs. They generally do not grant permanent residency or citizenship to foreigners, including Palestinians.\n\t•\tEven Palestinians already living in the Gulf (many of whom work there) typically hold Jordanian, Lebanese, or Egyptian travel documents rather than Gulf passports.\n\n3. Demographic and Economic Considerations\n\t•\tThe UAE and Saudi Arabia have large populations of migrant workers, mostly from South Asia and other Arab countries. Bringing in large numbers of Palestinian refugees could create social, economic, and political challenges.\n\t•\tThe Gulf states prefer to offer financial aid rather than resettlement, as seen in their donations to the Palestinian Authority and humanitarian aid for Gaza.\n\n4. Changing Political Alignments\n\t•\tSaudi Arabia and the UAE have been shifting toward normalization with Israel as part of broader geopolitical and economic strategies. Taking in large numbers of Palestinian refugees could strain these developing ties.\n\t•\tThe UAE was the first Gulf country to sign the Abraham Accords with Israel in 2020, and Saudi Arabia has been engaging in quiet diplomacy with Israel.\n\n5. Security Concerns\n\t•\tGulf states are cautious about allowing politically active or militant groups into their borders. Given the history of Palestinian militant movements, there may be concerns about internal security and potential destabilization.\n\nWhat Do They Offer Instead?\n\t•\tGulf countries provide financial aid to Palestinian causes and UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency).\n\t•\tSaudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar have invested in reconstruction projects in Gaza and the West Bank.

They need to impound these buses and never give them back use them for evidence hold onto them for about two or three years. Make sure whoever is behind us goes out of business permanently.

While I agree as we have the same problems with illegal Venezuelans. I am sure they are legal permanent residents. They are hard working people who are building Canada. Canada needed the skill sets and they took advantage of this. From the video -Who are the drug addicts? Who don't have housing? Canadians didn't want to study nor work and are paying the price.

I live in Canada and even being most likely a victim of the US sanctions together with my family and millions other Canadians and permanent residents, I can't be pissed with the American government, We also have been suffering with a weak, corrupt incompetent leader, that we hope can be put back to his insignificance sooner.

In case anyone is wondering why so many Indians are trying to flee Canada here it is. Under Trudeau and the liberal government Canada was basically giving a free pass to anyone who wants to come to Canada through colleges and universities, if you get into a Canadian school, you can get a study permit (which also allows you to work for 20h a week). Additionally after the schooling you are given a guaranteed work permit for the same duration as the schooling (if you went to school 2 years you get a 2 year permit, 4 years you get a 4 year permit, ect.) A Canada and immigration agencies (for some reason) basically advertised this to India as a guaranteed way to get permanent residence in Canada. Canadians hated the massive flood of people coming into Canada (about a million a year at its peak, which for a smaller country like canada is equivalent to 10 million people coming into the USA every year). This is really unpopular with voters of course (in part because of the housing, food, and low skill work shortages it created), and the next Canadian election is this year. So the conservative government has vowed to massivly decrease the number of immigrants coming into Canada and the Liberal government knowing that this can be used against them in the next election is decreasing the amount of PR cards they are given (like a Canadian green card) as well as the people they are letting in in total. Now as the (mostly Indian) immigrants work permits expire and they will soon be kicked out of the country or no longer legally be allowed to work, they are fleeing to NYC to try to take advantage of the sanctuary city (something that does not exist in Canada).

@mutteringmale\nMany places have natural beauty, however, the life of the people living there isn't. And there's no place like home...few Native born Americans leave America permanently, if at all.

Ice should have both front and back entrances to these hotels covered on a permanent basis.

Put Mexicans on a short leash that means take total control in Mexico and in the us this has to be harsh and permanently

Just looking at this is depressing. The fact there's so many people who hate themselves that are rooting for the destruction of their own country is beyond words. We have Trump for 4 years but what happens after that? Next Democrat that gets elected just opens up the borders again and the cycle begins again, but each time more permanent damage is done to the country.

Really bad policies that are destroying America. As a Canadian I’m so very sorry to my American friends, family and all patriots, that my alleged gov has allowed & encouraged, both into and out of Canada the most evil & vile ppl on Earth. They belong in neither country and must be permanently expelled & borders locked up tightly c/w only legal crossings at legal border crossings. So sorry America, we love ya’ll.

How the hell are so many getting into Canada, to then travel to the USA?\nIf you want to enter LEGALLY that's fine.\nBut illegals need deporting, and PERMANENTLY denied from gaining citizenship.
2025-02-23 0
Will everyone quit calling them “migrants”. Migration by definition means the people come here for a season temporary, then go back home. These are illegal immigrants, they intend to stay permanently.

Canadian here—it’s unfortunate to hear that many people are still crossing over from our country. While efforts to crack down have begun, they clearly aren’t enough. A major issue is individuals from India fraudulently obtaining student visas, with many failing to attend school, violating their visa terms. Others are simply ineligible for permanent residency and these people are likely fleeing due to increased enforcement by our own immigration officers and fear of deportation.

Born and raised in Ontario and spent most of my life in Toronto. Left permanently in 2012 and it's the best decision I ever made. Now I live in Finland. I'd never go back.

We recently spoke with a client who moved from the U.S. to Poland with our help. He now has permanent residency and watches the immigration chaos in the U.S. from the outside. His takeaway? Poland’s approach to immigration is logical and structured—no sudden policy shifts, no confusing legal limbo, and an actual path to settlement. If more countries followed this model, people wouldn’t feel so uncertain about their futures.

Be wary also of sham marriages in order to gain permanent residency or citizenship.

I think a major reason for the rejection is that many jump ships hoping to get employment and permanent residency ?
2025-02-16 0
Send them all home! Temporary means just that! Temporary! Trudeau is an idiot he needs to be deported back to Cuba!permanently!

My brother has h1b visa with permanent job offer in the USA. But still chose to stay in India with parents and brother. Try to work in India and make a stronger community instead of these cases.

Seriously why America??? Yk u’ll be fighting an endless battle ur whole life and the chance of settling permanently is very slim. The benefit is only short term and imminent. Ur fighting a loosing battle, and yet people still choose ‘merica.

Permanent resident or citizenship of convenience maybe?
2025-02-14 0
A key component is being overlooked. The reason North Americans and Western Europeans can travel the world freely is because after our studies, temporary work or vacation, we go back to our home country. If your home country has a high likelihood of someone using a temporary visa to permanently stay in another country, then of course the Visa rejection rate will be high. No matter if it's India, Vietnam, Nigeria, etc. If the likelihood of you going back home is low then your visa rejection rate will be high.

Indian “students” what a joke. The whole country knows what you really are .\nCanada is open to actual students, not you. You’re all work migrants and permanent residence scammers.
2025-02-11 0
Lies, they do get more than Canadians, and illegal aliens/refugees get a hearty sum to get their permanent home furnished

Strictly avoid canada now. It's a very difficult situation there. No part time or full time jobs. Not for freshers. Everywhere experienced people required and preference given to Citizens then Permanent residences then at last to persons on TR visas. Even getting PR is very difficult now because getting off 1 year Tier 0/1/2/3 working experience is very very difficult. Even indian students on PGWP are not getting tier jobs hence doing odd jobs . AVOID AVOID and don't spoil your time and money .

Reading all the comments and thinking if the effort of staying permanently is worth it! I am from Iran, have been studying here for 2 years, and reading all these disappointed comments makes me think deeply! I think it would be wiser to compare the Canada to other countries “now”. Comparing Canada to its own past and thinking of moving to another country because it’s better, doesn’t make sense. I am sure many countries are going through the same situation !

Nobody wants to be Canadian just wants permanent residency and the benefits.

I think that instead of deporting these immigrants, America should force them all to work for free for three or four years to build infrastructure and build houses and a whole city for other immigrants, and then give them a multi-year residency and then give them permanent residency. In this way, other lazy immigrants who intend to take advantage of the comfortable life in America will forget about entering the United States illegally.

Illegal means illegal no matter what part of the world they came from. Biden-Harris let in anyone, unvetted & unchecked. That proved both dangerous & expensive to our citizens & Biden-Harris also were giving illegals OUR taxpayer monies for shelter, food, medical & other things. That wasnt their monies to give & we now have a president looking out for American citizens. So, just an fyi. If you are caught by I.C.E. it could mean a permanent ban from this country. Go on your own & you could come back legally at some point. Right now all incoming is paused while Trump-Vance clean up Biden & Harris's mess!

This is why America needs to build military bases on our Borders, this must be done to put a permanent end of the Invasion of America!

That’s good, so the tariffs should be made permanent, so all GE production is brought in-country.

you can’t a naturalized citizen in singapore if you aren’t singaporean even you kids were born there.. you can’t just enter singapore w/o any legal documents. you can work in singapore but you need a legal working permit but you can never be a singaporean citizen in span of 5 years.. it will take you 10-12 years of permanent residency status… and then in the US the media is feeding fear and changing the norm that yeah you can do those things in the US ? 3rd world country has more stricter rules than the US when it comes to legal immigration ?

There’s something else that they could’ve deployed that would’ve caused a permanent solution, but they didn’t

SO EN MASSE THIS GROUP BELIEVES THEIR DISMAL PERSONAL LIVES SUPERSEDES A NATIONS RIGHT TO NOT BE INVADED! FOR THAT FACT ALONE THEY SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM EVER ENTERING THE UNITED STATES OR BEING GRANTED CITIZENSHIP!

Together let’s do something about it instead of leaving. Canada isn’t a country like China where no changes can be made by its citizens. I’m an immigrant, first arrived here in Canada in 2014. Once I heard the US wants to annex us I asked myself what can I do to help prevent this. I think the quickest way is we need a stronger military. I looked up the Canadian military website and found out me as a permanent resident can also be qualified to apply. Although the compensation isn’t that great, if the US really start being unwise I will definitely apply.

Even if you deport them, they'll just find their way back. There has to be a way to keep them out permanently. But there should be offices where they can turn theirself in. They go in through the port of entry. Because if you get arrested as a fugitive, you lose. your right to come in the right way. Your barred from entry

Trump and the eye patch bastard are weak. Kick them out of America permanently
