I’m not saying this is good for anyone that is living in ????. we already have a very bad housing crisis etc happening . but i definitely understand why they come.i have great empathy for them .. i feel horrible for them. these people aren’t lining up for black Friday deals or Taylor Swift tickets. these human beings are living in poverty, in danger in their own home countries. They want better for their children!! i’d actually question why they didn’t try for better (not actually, i have no right to judge them ..the lack of $ and danger would make most adults question if it’s the right thing to do). \nwe really need to remember...we aren’t special as human beings. we don’t deserve to live here more then they do. Our families just happen to cross the ocean(we weren’t even from the same land, like most of them, they want to cross a boarder that WE created) in the right decade, right century!! \nwe all came here and took from others. when we bought our land, built our homes, etc if you think back really it didn’t belong to them to sell it to us. It was stollen lands from the Native Americans. I agree it should end however let me explain my situation I'm white American I got into a relationship with a Mexican woman a few years ago, her parents decided to cross illegally 26 years ago and hire people to smuggle her and her siblings in again 26 years ago she's now 31 we got married and have a son together. I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.
