If it is going to be 25% or even 50% with reciprocal tariffs, we simply DO NOT import American goods into Canada (if our retailers don't order them, there is nothing they can do) and if we export, the consumer is paying those tariffs and we continue to manufacture. Not only is Canada bringing in mass amount of unskilled immigrants, but they are are subsidizing their wages, driving down wages even further as Canadians entering the work force can't compete for jobs when companies can pay well below minimum wage for foreign workers who will be topped up by the government. Brain drain is definitely a big issue. I heard from someone that if you're a US citizen you are required to pay US taxes even if you don't live there and honestly I kind of wish Canada would do the same. The Canadian health care is not that great, like most things you get what you pay for, even if our health care is free or said to be, but when you have to wait 6 months, with a appointment to see a Doc, or have to wait 15 or 20 hrs in some emergency room before you see a doc, is not good, & if you should see some doc you are scared they will tell you to take some over the counter medication & send you home, in fear you might die in next few hours,
