Making a mistake by validating the BS lie via stating everything that Canada is doing against fentanyl. “Don’t wrestle with pigs, you both get dirty and the pig likes it”. \n\nDumb Americans don’t understand what 1.3 B $ border plan is, they don’t know if that is enough and you’re placing yourself in a position of 1) recognizing the problem as legitimate, and 2)“are you doing enough”. The reason for this is Trump wants industry back in the US, and as long as people buy things from outside of the US cheaper, that's not going to happen. Thus the tariffs. That's what they're for, protectionism. Why he pretends it won't be bad for americans or that they won't be paying more for products, I don't know. Perhaps his way of preparing people for bad times. Or the wishful thinking bit he swears to. Whatever. But what sane person would build up an industry predicated on Trump being consistent and willing to stay the course? An industry that would fall apart like it's 1920 the moment tariffs end? I predict noone.\n\nI have some experience with Clark, he was an insightful man during his command in Europe. It should be concerning when he can't see a reason for these actions, for cozying up to Putin and alienating allies. There's no end goal here that is in the US' interest. I called the Canadian embassy in Washington DC this morning. I told them as an American citizen. It saddens me and breaks my heart that we are treating our allies with such disrespect. I do not stand with the United States government and their treatment of our allies. I also called the Mexican embassy and told them the same thing. Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. In fact, it's the United States job to keep illegal drugs and immigrants out of the US and they are doing a poor job of it and need someone else to blame. Mexico could retaliate in a way that could flood the US with illegal drugs and immigrants and refuse to repatriate its citizens back into Mexico.
