I am a proud Canadian and have no love for Trudeau but more important, I fear for the American people. America was once the institution of democracy but has recently taken a very sharp turn and is heading towards the ideals of Russian communism. I hope that level forward thinking will soon prevail so that we can live in peace again in both of our wonderful countries.

My problem with the doom and gloom is people love to blame all our problem on the current PM and “wokeness”. I am not saying JT and the Liberals don’t deserve any criticism they do but all the time it’s for all the wrong reasons. Public Housing is a provincial issue, Healthcare is a provincial issue zoning is a municipal issue. However all of these issues are made worse by lack of public housing funding (looking at you Doug Ford) and nimbyism at the municipal level (looking at you Rob Ford and almost every mayor large Canadian cites have had). My parents hate JT now because property prices came down slightly but they loved him during Covid when prices went through the roof. When the liberals implemented the mortgage stress test they hated him and voted conservative in 2019 because Andrew Scheer went on the news and said he will get rid of it. When the liberals got rid of the stress test on first time homebuyers they loved the liberals again. They are property developers so they don’t mind paving over the Agricultural land reserve but god forbid a fourplex is built in our neighborhood. However I am not too cynical I have seen progress by the current government AFTER THEY WHERE -20pts in the polls. Now I just hope the Tories don’t get rid of the Housing accelerator fund and other funds that will make a impact in 10 years.

biggest difference is cultural, America is a country where people take risks and face hardships due to free will, Canada is a British colony and Canadians are still peasants, society is very complacent and obedient. I moved from USA to Canada, I live in Alberta which is a freedom loving province, but even here they bend over to the idea of monarchy and how important to support family of German pedophiles that lives in Windsor castle thousands of miles away.

My experience as a Canadian as we keep personal political, religious, racist beliefs to ourselves. Americans I found tend to bond to people based on these personal beliefs all too much. Love the diverse culture I live within in Canada. Should review the data on shootings in educational institutions in the US , you might be surprised how many days in a year these shootings do occur.

So whats out of control? The color if people's skin or their way of life? Foreigners are family oriented, they are having children. Canadian culture is not big of big families and they don't want to work gard and do the little menial jobs. These people take the small jobs and work their way up and building up the community while at it. Like I said I love my Canadian culture and laws of the land. But it is possible to abuse by human laws that would be safe and fair to all citizens.

I am a person that loves nature. I am really hoping that the bear, wolf, and moose populations are healthy enough to help with this issue naturally. Make America AND Canada great again. I am an American who loves to vacation in the Canadian wilderness. I love the people I know in both countries. I think and hope we are turning a corner for good in both countries.

When people asks what it means to be Canadian, I say it means not to come here and impose your religious and cultural traditions on other Canadians who have been here for over 400 years (ya, I know some people will comment on this and say what about what the colonialists did to the indigenous people, and I’ll say ya but we conquered this land - shiity but that’s reality). If you love your culture and religions so much, why didn’t you stay in your native country. Can you imagine going to an eastern country trying to assert your own beliefs and traditions and not not honouring their culture?! Good luck with that. People move to countries with wild dreams fantasising that everything will be easier and they will be richer. A lot of people just can't adapt to a new country. Some do extremely well. I know a lot of entrepreneurs that have gone to the US and Canada to start businesses and then they move back to their countries in South America or India to live an amazing lifestyle and travel a lot. I suppose it's nice to accumulate wealth faster and know that you have a Canadian passport to fall back on if you need to get out? I'm part first nations. I do not live in Canada for related reasons - but I love my country and what we stand for.

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

Students with expired visas should go back. But what is Canadian culture? Is it found in Quebec? Alberta? Or the Reserves? What is it exactly? Do Canadian Immigration documents require applicants to sign they will convert their religion or culture after coming here? If you would change your culture upon entering another country, good for you but you have no right to expect that kind of inauthenticity from other people. If someone changes who they are and their culture upon entering another country then they are not as real as they portray. These are the type of two faced people that can also switch sides to help your enemies if given the chance to. And the truth is no matter how much people 'assimilate' here, people with even an ounce of racism and colonialist ghosts in their head will always first see the color of their skin. I worked at a Polish Grocery store and came across a man who's lived here for 30 years and spoke 10 words of English. All they speak at that store is Polish. I loved working there but I don't see anyone making a video about European immigrants retaining their culture.

Thanks to multiculturalism, immigrants have been told time and again by Canada-hating politicians that they don't need to assimilate, they can keep everything they cherish, from their language to their religion, customs, values, traditions, heck they are encouraged to display them in public for the sake of diversity. As a son of an immigrant parent, my father did everything he could to assimilate because he loved Canada and its people. I'm a French Canadian and I love India and Indians. I'm learning Hindi and Punjabi, love the food, language, and music. It's just that Canada needs to denounce Khalistan! I am a 4th generation Canadian and I left for the US on a TN work visa. I love life down here and will never move back to Canada. I have a much better life. I can afford a beautiful home and a nice car and still have money left over to travel. I have a master's degree and I cannot afford to live in the People's Socialist Republic...I mean Canada.

The viewpoint that was ignored in this video is the that of the Canadians who have been building this country for generations. The only mention of us is of one rally of defeated and frustrated Canadians, who are being victimized and displaced. Companies will no longer hire us - at all - in favour of everyone else. It's called DEI. Inclusion actually means everyone. Institutions are removing all history and acceptance of the Canadians of European descent - and calling us names like racist, transphopic etc. in order to silence us. Thank you for summarizing these key changes! Many problems are actually the Canadian immigration system not learning from the mistakes of the US system and now it’s suffering the same consequences. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. If only there was a way for the system to allow people who really care about Canada to get a shot at being part of this beautiful country.\n\nThank you for making these videos.

Someone should let them know that so called better life is not waiting for them in Canada at least. We have plenty of our own political tensions, we're taxed to death, probably have the worst health care system in the world, extremely high cost of living, everything is expensive, the only jobs available are part time, crappy overpriced food, a housing crisis and brutal winters every single year.. Nothing but pissed off, miserable people here. Many Canadians I know have moved to India and love it. Come if you like but I bet you'll wish you hadn't, especially when Trudeau won't let you go back, not with your money anyway.

Because people are still sold to the Canadian dream they immigrate but they don't know how hard it is to live here. I am native here and french canadian, so I won't leave my birthplace unless for France (I have the nationality) because I feel home with other quebecers like me. We don't feel really Canadian, but Québécois! And our people are talkative and friendly. I love the people here in Qc. Even if it`s a poor country now, I feel a lot of countries are going throught the same situation of mass immigration and low income. Come to Surrey BC! I've lived here all my life, and live about 7km's from the house I was brought home as a baby, so I've never left this city, and I, like that gentleman and lady you talked to, often feel like I am the only Caucasian in Surrey! Go by any elementary school, and you'd find it difficult to see any hair colour than straight black! Like when I went to school, so many now are driven to school by parents or grandparents that where brought over to Canada as well, so traffic around schools very often is chaotic at best! The once peaceful sound of birds singing, is now taken up with sirens, from ambulance and fire trucks, it's hideous! I too would love to move, but we keep asking, 'where'...as we'd like to be in an area with just caucasians, to feel 'at home' again! It's not that I don't like the people, but most in Surrey, are much more well off than the average Canadian, driving high end cars, and even their teenage kids have high end vehicles. So, like many Canadians, I'd just like to see normalcy & common sense once again, and a complete end to immigration, until ALL of our crisis's are taken care of!

Canada - Ontario was really great. I came from latinoamerica, and Canada was into real diversity. Now, I feel like getting pushed out of the province, not from Canadians but by Indians. I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. I’m white so it doesn’t mater our skin color or religion. Its about love and respect to the laws of our country. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? Yes, you failed us Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. You sold us Canadian citizens out and tossed us aside for your own agendas. You are a disgrace to Canada and we the people want you out of office.

Universities are registered not-for-profits in Canada, so the for-profit argument can’t track. \nCanada needs a RICO law so we can more easily seize their assets and expel them, and hold universities to the fire for this crap, and the government officials getting kickbacks. The GOC is the largest human trafficking pimps, and the universities are bottom bi***es. And don’t think we don’t know that the 30% cap DOESN’T apply to companies like Navitas who recruit for the universities, are housed in the universities, but are separate, private companies.

Canadian are lovely people but why they think strangers in own country. Strict your police rules if anyone found in criminal activity then deport them , but please don’t say white Canadian are homeless because they are responsible their own condition. Think about and don’t blame anyone without any justification

Im canadian. I know it's a stereotype but people are just so nice in Canada. People do say sorry a lot, thank you, please. Lots of people hold doors for you, strangers love to small talk and are very friendly. It's pretty common that if someone drops their wallet, someone will return it to the owner. This is why I love Canada so much.

A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. It's hard for everybody out there, i'm just one of the millions if not billions who go through that.\n\nAlso I don’t think ‘nobody wants to live in Canada’ is entirely accurate. It seems that the idea of canada, and the way its marketed, attracts a lot of new immigrants, and a lot of people would love a chance to live in Canada. It's simply not true. But after the fact , once they have , i could believe that some are not willing to stay and might regret the decision of moving in the first place.
