As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. People are just searching for a better life that's all, the most basic thing humans have in common, change the red tape a make things more structured and rid your country of the bad apples and welcome those willing to work, build and serve God and the country. I maybe an ignorant on politics , but what happens when USA , well not USA but the Trump administrations has caused so much damage to the country to the point where other maybe most of his allies start taking responses such as that of Canada , and escalate to the point where perhaps USA lose most of his allies at least important allies such as Canada, the support of the global geopolitics , I Maine that scenario for a moment wouldn't that give Trump an excuse to align even more openly with Putin? I haven't enjoyed much of Trudeau's office, but this he owns. He really laid it down here. It made me proud to be Canadian. He absolutely, kicked ass and I hope he just hammers Trump.
