The problem here is that Canadian government and Canadian colleges think that international students mean Sikh students from Punjab... that's all I saw in this video.. when I saw the title of the video, I thought I might know about international students... but all I'm seeing is Sikhs, Sikhs everywhere... where is multiculturalism? Where are the other ethnicities? Are we missing something here?

This video may aimed to build awareness on fact about Canada as you both saw it but researching things about why things are the way they are would have been more informative than what sound basic and speculative and not absolutely hung on facts like when Canada provide World class infrastructure at bear minimum cost is directly the trade off on earnings. Certain service oriented employment are not big earners and for immigrants that are non professionals it is not the right country to migrate to after you did so now you are doing the first work after you find yourself there. Pls research and inform immigrants of a well paying jobs in Canada and you just got yourself a winner.

What many don't know and wasn't reported in this video, is that Ukraine doesn't want too many people leaving to Canada. There is a fear that if people settle in Canada, they will stay and not return and help in he rebuilding of Ukraine. Accepting Refugees on mass is a huge undertaking, it is not as simple as opening the doors and letting people in. Where are the people to go, someone has to support them and that all requires huge amounts of coordination. Last I saw, Canada had a housing crisis where it has been difficult for Canadians to find affordable housing... how are Refugees supposed to do better?? It is easy to open the doors, it is a lot harder to get them settled.... but we have to try and try hard to make it work.

The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. Canadian and Canada Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe, Australia, the United States, Japan, and Korea. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian, Indonesian, or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beaches in Canada. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country.

Great video. I am a Canadian that works with newcomers. I have lived abroad and back again. We recently did a trip to the U.S. A great trip overall but I agree with a lot of your comments about the suburbs. We saw some beautiful neighbourhoods in the US (and here in Canada) but there are almost no signs of life. I grew up in the suburbs and it was nice as a kid because we were always outside but as soon as I finished school, I couldn't wait to get out. My old neighbourhood is now a bedroom community built for the car. Now, I live downtown in a major Canadian city. My house is very small and old but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I always see people, rain or shine, snow or hail. I see families, dogs, dogwalkers, children, seniors with canes. I love it because I see life. Living in a neighbourhood like the one in this video would indeed feel lonely and isolating.

I worked with a guy from Ghana in Newark NJ. He had married an American woman who bossed him around and didn't really care for him. He lost a lot of money in a church pyramid scheme and I think the American diet contributed to him having a heart attack and later a stroke that killed him. I saw a video on Ghana and I really thought he would have been so much better staying in Ghana and probably would have had a much better and longer life.

Brother I am a regular listener of your videos. Almost saw all of your videos. I also did ecrticise on your last video. I personally have nothing to say against your views. I personally believe that you are an honest, hard worker and loyal Pakistani. I have no doubt at all. I believe you say words from your heart. But the last comment which I did was the mentality of different standards of people with their views on different interpretation like if a person does some thing wrong against minorities it doesn't mean he is islamic extremism it is the mind set. This is very unscientific compared to other Marketplace investigations. i have had worse things done to me by hispanic security guard at Safeway. I am white. i refused to provide my receipt to guard who singled me out after this happened to me multiple times, see below. they detained me for 15 minutes. I called the Berkeley police. Instead of arresting them for false imprisonment Police told me I was banned from store and would be arrested if I return. I have video. Wonder if that would go viral? No, I’m white. Also accused of stealing by Asian american deli workers at Safewat in SF. I have video of that. In that case black security guard backed me up in my claim that I brought in the rye bread from outside that I asked my sandwich be made with. At another Safeway in SF the Eastern European deli manager got the black security guard to single me out to produce my receipt. I showed it to him. A few days later I saw a black man walk in that Safeway and go to the expensive cold drinks area, open a bottle and start drinking it. I alerted the store workers but they refused to ask him fir his receipt because they had not personally seen him steal it. I had nit stole anything but that did not prevent them from asking this white dude or accusing me falsely in 3 different Safeway stores.

As a retired Police Officer I pay attention to people who spend alot of time in certain isles without a shopping cart. And I think he was carrying a shopping bag. I'm black. I have seen white people walk through the grocery store eating chips, packaged danish and drinking soda, finish eating and leave the wrappings on a shelf, never thinking about paying. I saw a young black mother in CVS take toothpaste and drop it in the baby dag in the back of the baby carriage, without paying. If you work in a store they are told to watch out for shoplifters. I've seen video of white people joking they can go shoplifting anytime because the store employees or security are so busy watching black people. Unfortunately minorities are watched more. If I go in my handbage, or backpack I go into the main isle where everyone can see what I'm doing. They don't need to guess what I'm doing. That's just me.
