Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

How are trans people serving in the the US? Exceptions are being made that’s how. It’s a hard pill to swallow for someone who lost their career because I was non deployable to see folks get an exception to that. A lot of trans folks are non-deployable and are still active.

I see a lot of Venezuelans in my city. You can easily spot them. Uncool designer labels like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Black Nikes and some goofy sunglasses. Mexican and Central Americans are wearing work clothes like Carhartt etc. The Venezuelans are working non laborious jobs like food delivery. Somehow they easily afford cars as they are heavily subsidized by the government both on a local and federal level. No insurance tag or driver's license.

I had supported the deportation of undocumented people with criminals records back to them own country, but Mr T is deporting undocumented people who are working in industries that many Americans will never work, and treating them as criminals, placing them in airplane chained and hand cuffed. They are extremely nepotistic and will only hire other indians and family, it’s next to impossible for young native born Canadians to get even basic level entry jobs if the person hiring is indian. \nindians have abused the goodwill of our citizens and our social assistance programs. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have never had a negative experience there in over 49 yrs, other than the old lady backed into my parked suv in the hobby lobby lol parking lot l\n\nA big plus in Canada, is paid Maternity/ paternity leaves and also caregiver leave. As an Indian living in New Zealand I see lot of people coming with intention to work or apply refugee leading to rejection

The process for Visa and the backup documents is pretty transparent and available at the country's or VFS website. I have been travelling to Europe and my visa has not been rejected. But I still do see a lot of people not understanding the process, documentation required. The documentation is usually about proof of stay, proof of travel and proof of financial strength. Please do not talk about the 5th largest economy. We are 143rd in GDP per capita. Among the illegal immigrants into USA India ranks third, to the UK it ranks 9th and is a significant number into the EU. With immigration a hot topic in the west today, this was inevitable.

Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. Yeah I'm Canadian with a lot of health issues yeah you don't have to pay but sometimes the wait can be long like 21 hours at the emergency + the time to see the er doc and if you need tests that would make it longer. Just recently my waiting time was 16 hours. I live in Ontario and we get a lot of Quebec people because their waiting time can be way much longer.

Just stop applying for visas for any country. If you do this collectively, unitedly for a year or two, it will bring lots of countries to their senses. Bharat is a tremendous huge power because of its population, specially its most powerful(in the world) middle class. Just go and explore Bharat for a year or so. I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. Especially British and French. That is Canada's identity.

Romanian here, with 8 years in Germany, still debating if a citizenship is worth the effort though I use German both at my work place and for regular tasks. \nMy opinion is that Germany has a chaotic approach to absorbing skilled workers. \nI agree completely with the statement that this approach led it to absorb, far more easily, unskilled and, a lot of times, problematic immigrants rather than skilled professionals. I see this happening in communities and online groups. This also contributes to social and political backlash. \nCombining economy issues, social backlash, decreasing purchasing power and pressure on housing, Germany is becoming less attractive by the hour for skilled workers.

In all the news coverage you seem to see over representation from one particular state in India. I wonder why? I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle.
