Trump should fix the problems with the United States economy, such as inflation, tighter credit , homelessness, unemployment , military spending ,wars in West Asia and the repairs of bridges or roads without falsely scape goating undocumented \n immigrants . Undocumented immigrants or asylum seekers are paying billions of dollars each year in taxes. In spite of their undocumented or current status, these immigrants—and their family members—are adding value to the U.S. economy, not only as taxpayers, but as workers, consumers, and entrepreneurs as well. Furthermore, we should not falsely accuse aslylum seekers or undocumented immigrants for the illegal drug problem or increase of crime .This evil rhetoric or fairy tale narrative with the odor of mendacity is anti social , divisive and needs to stop .

In America the need for them has diminished by over 600,00 jobs lost in the last two years. More job losses in their chosen fields are coming too. I confess not suffering through the entire presentation but 2025 is bringing a lot of unemployed technical people from entry-level to senior positions in America. It would be great if everybody had a very good job but those days are over for a while. The usual human activity of debt and destruction accumulates to the point where too many people run out of money and the economies run out of steam.

Where's Jim Acostya? Chillin with Don Lemon I bet in the unemployment line. ????

Calm down, this is going to get worse. Now with Trump's threats and taxation and since before the Second World War, US foreign policy is to continue to fuel wars around the world, weakening economies and thereby indirectly financing hunger and unemployment. The plan will backfire. Wait and see!!!

PREDICTION: The rise of international tariffs will ultimately uncover a huge underbelly of unemployment ironically in the USA and create a wave of an unexpected underbelly of poverty unseen by America in many years. USA will suffer in the next 4 years due to tariff wars and causing its international allies work in new relationships with its unexpected competitors such as China. The EU will learn how to live without relying on the USA - as is the same with China and other countries. America will have to self-rely on itself - causing it to recycle its own money over and over again to try and create home-grown industries that will initially be very expensive to run. \n\nCompetitive countries will strike deals with American allies and form new relationships that the USA hadn't foreseen - and the era will illustrate an international 'Us' vs US mentality. Countries will turn their back on America, knowing they can work well together than rely on the USA. \n\nThe average US citizen will be receiving tax rise after tax rise, causing more poverty within states and due to the 'xenophobic tariff mentality' - will find the middle income earner slip down to a lower grade, and ripple this effect. Medical aid will only benefit the rich while everyone else will pay for minimum service but premium for medication. \n\nThe price of food and transport will quadruple over the next 4 years, not because of the natural progression of price rise, but immediately due to tariff wars. \n\nAmericans, ultimately pay for tariffs - bullying words of 50 percent tariffs on another country means a surge in prices for everyday goods Americans take for granted. The only winner is the Government - which means it chooses what to spend on. \n\nA recession will hit hard....AGAIN -- on the USA.

You know what's funny is, when Biden was in office, the economy was getting better, gas prices were finally going down and unemployment was at its all time lowest in US history. Now Trump is gonna get rid of all these immigrants that do the hard dirty work like, picking fruit, avocados and chile and roofing and construction So now watch I bet you anything businesses will go out of business and the economy will get bad again. I hope im wrong

Youth unemployment is extremely high. We have a wage problem not a labour problem. Ten years ago our immigration system was working fine. We need to go back to a sustainable model not whatever this mess is now.

You have too many unemployed local born Canadians. The foreigners who know they came without permission shouldn't expect to be considered more important then the local citizens.\nA foreign business like a school program does not have the authority to permit folks to come to Canada. Nor do your cousins running businesses. Or foreign realtors selling you or renting housing. Or the foreign landlords convincing you they have the right to rent to you.

Regards the subject discussed why is it important that we bring millions of immigrants when the country is struggling with unemployment, crime and homelessness ?
|
| 2025-01-22 | 0 |
There is no backlog in employment. Too many Canadians are unemployed because they are pushed out of work to be replaced with immigrants.
|
| 2025-01-22 | 1 |
The answer is simple, cut immigration, period. Unemployment rate is crazy for students looking for work because immigrants are taking the jobs. Look after your countries people first. Then look through immigration for what you have shortages of second. Canada use to understand and do this way better before Trudeau. But Trudeau just opened the doors to everyone. Putting Canada in a terrible state.

Out of control immigration drives up the cost to buy and rent houses, same issue here in Australia.\nWe can't builld enough houses in Australia to meet the demand. Many building companies went out of business when the price of materials increased but their contract price couldn't.\nCashed up immigrants who can afford higher prices effectively drive locals away from places to live. Homelessness is increasing in Australia.\nThe government then tries to build more social housing and pays the builders higher prices than a person building a private house can afford, which continues to increase the construction cost spiral. We now have $1M+ houses being built for people on welfare who only have to pay a maximum of 25% of their income, and that income is given to them by the government. People are better off being unemployed and living off government benefits and housing than to have a job paying less than $100k/yr.

Most of this people are not saying we running from war.\nThey all want better life.\n\nWhy not do it legally. \nSome have waited years and you all get it the easy way.\nIs unfair to those who applied legally.\n\nAlso can the USA take all this people?\nLoads of homelessness and unemployment in the USA due to unfair wages.\n\nSomething has to be sorted out ASAP. \n\nYou will embrace Mexicans because they are your citizens.\nIf all this countries create jobs and work for it people, none of them will be in another country illegally. \n\nIs a shame.

US cannot support all the poor or unemployed people of the world. Maybe Germany's regime would.
|
| 2025-01-21 | 0 |
If this is supposed to affect me in some way it's not what you desire I assure you. We have homeless, hungry, sick, drug addicted, unemployed of our own to deal with. You are in limbo? Why because you were counting on another Country and it's tax payers to solve your problems? Vicki

All the time they were waiting in Mexico, they could have gotten jobs and built lives there. Mexico has a lower unemployment rate than the US. They already speak Spanish.
|
| 2025-01-21 | 0 |
Why can't these Venezuelans start a new life in Mexico? Unemployment is low in Mexico, Spanish is the main language. Mexico has the 14th largest economy in the world! Universal health care as well, etc. etc...

Mexico’s Economic Apocalypse: My Personal Analysis\n\nThe imposition of a 25% tariff on all Mexican imports by the United States would be nothing short of an economic death sentence for Mexico. As someone deeply concerned about the integrity of U.S. borders, sovereignty, and the well-being of American citizens, I believe this tariff is both justified and necessary. Mexico has repeatedly ignored its responsibilities as a neighbor, and it is time for accountability. Let’s examine the devastating impact this tariff would have on Mexico in brutal, undeniable detail.\n\n\n---\n\nEconomic Collapse: A Nation on Its Knees\n\nMexico’s economy relies heavily on exports, with over 80% of its exports destined for the United States. A 25% tariff would obliterate Mexico’s competitive edge, pricing its goods out of the U.S. market. The result? A $100 billion annual loss in trade revenue—a wound so deep it would cripple the nation’s economy beyond repair.\n\nGDP Freefall: With exports constituting 28% of Mexico’s GDP, the tariff would slash growth rates and plunge Mexico into a severe recession. Entire industries would collapse under the weight of unsold goods and lost revenue streams.\n\nMassive Manufacturing Shutdowns: Mexico’s lifeblood industries—automotive, electronics, and steel—would face annihilation. Plants dependent on U.S. buyers would grind to a halt, leaving millions unemployed.\n\n\n\n---\n\nSocial and Humanitarian Crisis: A Nation in Chaos\n\nThe economic fallout wouldn’t just affect industries—it would decimate millions of lives:\n\nUnemployment Epidemic: With factories shuttered and exports decimated, unemployment would skyrocket, leaving millions of families destitute. Entire regions reliant on U.S. trade would become economic wastelands.\n\nHuman Desperation: Widespread poverty would fuel desperation, leading to a surge in crime, social unrest, and violence. Mexico’s already fragile social fabric would unravel, plunging the nation into chaos.\n\nMass Emigration: Unable to survive in their homeland, millions of Mexicans would flee to the United States, creating an unprecedented border crisis—ironically the very issue the tariff seeks to address.\n\n\n\n---\n\nFinancial Ruin: Mexico’s Peso in Freefall\n\nThe peso would face catastrophic devaluation, losing value faster than at any point in modern history. This would create:\n\nHyperinflation: Everyday goods would become unaffordable for the average citizen. The price of imported essentials—like medicine and machinery—would skyrocket.\n\nInvestor Exodus: Foreign investors, seeing no future for Mexico’s economy, would abandon the country. Capital flight would cause Mexico’s stock market to crash, sending shockwaves through the financial system.\n\n\n\n---\n\nThe Root Cause: Mexico’s Negligence\n\nMexico has brought this apocalypse upon itself through years of neglect and willful inaction:\n\nIllegal Immigration: Mexico has consistently allowed massive waves of illegal immigrants to flow across its northern border, destabilizing U.S. communities and eroding American sovereignty.\n\nDrug Trafficking: The unchecked trafficking of fentanyl and other deadly drugs through Mexican cartels has killed tens of thousands of Americans annually. Mexico has done little to combat this epidemic, allowing cartels to thrive.\n\nBroken Promises: Despite agreements and warnings, Mexico has failed to step up as a responsible partner. Words without action are meaningless, and the time for talk is over.\n\n\n\n---\n\nWhy Trump’s 25% Tariff is Justified\n\nPresident Trump’s 25% tariff isn’t just an economic tool—it’s a weapon of justice aimed at holding Mexico accountable for its negligence. Here’s why this move is essential:\n\n1. Securing U.S. Borders: Mexico’s failure to stop illegal immigration has forced the United States to act decisively. This tariff will compel Mexico to finally enforce its borders and prevent illegal crossings.\n\n\n2. Protecting American Lives: The flow of drugs like fentanyl must stop. By crippling Mexico’s economy, the tariff weakens the cartels that profit from this deadly trade.\n\n\n3. Economic Leverage: The U.S. is Mexico’s largest trading partner. Without access to the American market, Mexico’s economy collapses. This leverage ensures Mexico has no choice but to comply with U.S. demands.\n\n\n\n\n---\n\nA Brutal but Necessary Move\n\nYes, this tariff would cause unimaginable suffering in Mexico, but that suffering is a direct result of its government’s failures. President Trump is not to blame—Mexico is. By ignoring its responsibilities, Mexico has forced America to take a stand. The economic apocalypse that follows is the price Mexico must pay for its negligence.\n\nThis is not just about punishing Mexico—it’s about protecting the United States. It’s about securing our borders, saving American lives, and ensuring that the U.S. economy is not undermined by a neighbor that refuses to act responsibly. In the end, the 25% tariff is a painful but unavoidable reckoning for a nation that has long shirked its duties. The survival of Mexico’s economy depends entirely on its willingness to change course—and fast.

I'm Australian of Indian origin and i support the rejection it should be more strict than now, have you seen how Indian behaves after they get visas, On Indian talent haha 95% indian's are unemployable and most of the Punjab, Haryana and Gujrat has fake degrees. Most of the south indian are decent n smart people and welcomed. how many taxi driver and 7 eleven staff any country can accept?
|
| 2025-01-19 | 0 |
Because lot of unemployed and uneducated population, if they would lighten their visa policies then everybody could reach western countries
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
Palki has less to blame the present regime for its inefficient handling of unemployment and this has given rise to mass movement abroad illigall. We have failed in all fronts except in population.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
I don’t know about rest of the world but in the US alone, 700,000 Indians entered the country either illegally or overstayed their US visa just last year alone. In Canada, some Indian international students were discovered to have forged their education documents and now have been deported. Temporary workers are demanding permanent residency after work visa extensions have been cancelled due to housing shortages & increasing unemployment rate. \n\nIndian people in general are good workers but these protest aren’t helping and demanding they be allowed to stay while their documents are forged is upsetting Canadians. It unfortunately grouping everyone together.
|
| 2025-01-18 | 0 |
I really lost all respect for Palki, she has become the person she criticizes others for. A propaganda machine. Its hard time that she raises real issues that India is facing currently, increasing unemployment rates, low per capita income and most importantly, civil regulations. Because I been to your country multiple times now and I love the experience too but when I see and hear certain things my heart sinks. The government must be held accountable.

Why cant Canada just revoke Visas for the unemployed?

I am a sri lankan ,most of the indians are not travellers or tourist only a few handful, the rest for a a better opportunity because of the unemployment crisis in india in mexico and south america there are in 1000's to illegally enter usa and even in sri lanka a poor bankrupt nation we find indian illegally working specially in restaurant kitchens because they are paid /treated better than india
|
| 2025-01-17 | 0 |
Madame you didn't tell the whole story. Unemployment in India is very high and youth who travel to US and the UK do not return back to India. Illegal immigration is the new issue found with travelling abroad. ????
|

Thanks for rejection. Person must stop in India for whatever the reason. Government will be forced to do something as unemployment will rise. These educated class can show actual mirror to Modi and government. India need them more than other nations.
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
well, you should concentrate more on Bangladesh and younus government rather focusing on your own problem. your attitude tells you are the strongest country in the world but in actual you are still a third world country struggling with poverty and unemployment. think what's gonna happen with so many enemy countries around you..!!
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
One reason for this is pseudo journalists like Palki who keep trumpeting the ruling party line about India's achievements instead of telling the truth. Indians are practically running from India unable to face the galloping unemployment and poverty. But who wants needy people? Naturally the visa rejection rates have gone up.
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
Palki won't tell you why so many Indian wanted to go abroad and live in other countries. Indian media or 90% Indian journalists are all the same. They're will keep on advertising Modi even though the country is barren now but it's a great economy for the BJP and the journalists. Unemployment, inflation, violence but the media won't talk about it.
|

You take a package tour from a company like Thomas cook and an unemployed person will also get a visa .

Economic leverage? - and she told our talent! So she’s saying we need more unemployment in india? ?
|
| 2025-01-16 | 0 |
This is news only for Fatty Palki and her fans. Just bcoz u yell night and day does not mean u are vishwa guru. Population is unskilled and unemployable like Fake degree PM- Almost 99.9% population in India wants to immigrate to foreign shores legally or illegally.
|

it's great that people are pointing out about visas but why no data analysis about country basic problems? if we sort those out, we would be rather thinking whose visa we need to grant and whom to reject?\n1. why no question on regulations on digitalization? In MNC there are SLA for server down, 404 not found etc. while it's been years we moved to digitalization but yet no proper regulations.\n2. lets be honest unemployment and inflation is beyond our control.\n3. No termination rule in govt. job despite there are n number of jobless personnel available to fill the sacked officer/employee immediately, the service quality the responsibility towards job is 0.\n4. corporate retires people at 65 because at this age their stamina and decision making capabilities are no sound, fair enough but then 65 + aged people are making decisions about government and countries, how is that even logical? Either corporate is lying or we need to set upper age bar in politics too.\nturn country into self sustaining community asap that's future and survival strategy.
|

Reason - Growing middle class and increasing unemployment as well which you missed.
|

Then why’s our government accepting visas from such countries, pathetic leaders, who simply project unrealistic 2047 trillion economy when many are facing unemployment

Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. I like my vacation and I like my sick leave. We have a safety net up here for mother‘s allowance child tax credit unemployment insurance. It is a safety net for hand up, not a handout .You guys like to pick your presidents and what your comedians will make for a living for the next 4 to 8 years. Up here we pick our Prime Minister‘s based on what they do up until they are seeking election and vote accordingly. We’re not allowed to carry weapons and use them for protection up here we look out for each other. I would prefer my children to live in a multicultural society where they are just used to other traditions and culture and Orientationchoices. That is not based on the colour of your skin. I like to have a conversation about a political opponent without it getting dangerous you’re allowed to have an opinion up here and that’s how we view it, but quite frankly after half an hour 15 minutes we we get bored of political views and just walk away from you. There’s no such a thing as you don’t want to live in that area and you have to be careful about where your kid goes to school. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. What the hell is that and I have never seen anything in your news down there about your native society we try to acknowledge and integrate them quite frankly, you guys are just worried about yourselves and not about anybody else

America’s President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin….are ALL FIRED due to their “lack of knowledge” concerning India’s problems including severe Poverty, Unemployment, and Over Population (birth control needed ASAP)! \n\nIndia Please Go Back to Your Country India and SOLVE your OWN PROBLEMS! \n\nBTW……OUR COUNTRY, America (Or Canada) will NOT FAIL due to India’s GREED and IGNORANCE!

If it's true,..\notherwise Canada has to pay a heavy price. Everything is under Indian control. Our canadian that has hired temp Indian Hr Recruiters they and Indian Managers, along with Indian agents, are involved in money laundering by chargjng a commission from New comer Indians, they hire and had hired only Indians .The unemployment rate within Canada is high. Crime.rate.committed by Indians is growing day by day at an unbelievable rate.\n By paying commission, only Indians are working all over Canada when there is a job scarcity. Now, their families are arriving. In some banks, Tim Hortons, it is Canada, but unbelievable 7 employees will be Indian newcomers, and 1 would be either Canadian philippines, chinese, black, or white. NewcomerIndians think they can get away with their corrupt mindset they will also go through a lot of suffering, and they dont know yet because this is Canada, not INDIA .

The housing crisis in Canada is partly due to 4 things \n1.Restrictive government policies on apartment construction\n2.A lack of tax incentives for building affordable housing\n3.Rapid increase in immigration without sufficient housing supply, \n4.High rates of unemployment or underemployment

We have Unemployment and Homeless issues here in North America. Why should we make the problem worse by opening up our borders to Illegal Immigrants who are practically invading our Country and taking away from our Citizens who are already paying the price for damage done by our own Government.

4.9 million temporary residents are supposed to leave by December 2025. If I could pick where my tax dollars are spent I would like it to be spent on this. It would solve so many issues. Housing, unemployment, wages, safer roads and less poop on the beaches
