Let’s not dilute ourselfs, these people are not interested in showing us actual Canadians the same tolerance we are showing them. To the average Indian poojeet we are trash and Canada is entitled to them. We need to immediately cancel all immigration from India and start deporting ALL OF THEM. We need to take a stand. I'm not an Indian but I'm a immigrant in Canada and yes it's true everything that you say but I just want to give one respectful advice to my friend from India. Please use deodorant and at least once a day take a shower because in the bus or at work is very hard for us from other countries and I know is not your fault but we all have to adapt in a country we arrive hope no one gets offended by this but remember that we share the air and we cannot avoid smelling other people. I am a Chinese who has lived in Canada for 20 years, and now the streets are full of Indians. I feel New Delhi. When Chinese are no longer the largest immigrant group in Canada, the social environment in Canada is getting worse and worse, especially the public security is worrying. The basic jobs of local whites have been robbed by Indians, and there are too many homeless people with abnormal mental health who take drugs.

Went through the pathway of studies-work-residency-citizenship\n\nLet me simplify the story for all of you guys here that lacks immigration intel. \n\n1) The quality of migrants you see here is not what Canada needs long term. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

I'm Indo-Canadian, and I want you out to. It used to be quality immigrants from India. The US now is taking them all (top CEOs, entrepreneurs, researchers and scientists there are of Indian origin if they aren't Chinese). But in Canada we're opening the doors to the worst of India - Sikhs and Sikhism (fanatical bearded towel heads). You won't be happy here eating crap from food banks and living crammed in small flats. I blame Trudeau and his plan for more Sikhs and having them throughout the government agencies including police and defense, a severe terror risk to both nations.

Trudeau is to blame - he brough several million migrants and immigrants with no skills and in the case of the Indian migrants they have a sense of entitlement and believe we have a responsibility to take care of them.

yes canada is not racist and no one can make such generalization. however it is clear by many comments that racism clearly exists. international students are not just from india. they are from many countries. many come from nigeria also but rebel news or harrison and others would not say one word against anyone who is black. if all these people were from uk or europe then would this even be an issue to anyone? be honest. i am not taking sides. i been in canada for 40 years and my loyalty is to canada and for sure i would say there was lot of racism when i came in 1988. from grade 6 to 9 life was terrible here. things changed over time and my kids have not experienced racism for most of there life here but now i am seeing the bullies type that i faced are returning more and more especially online. rebel news and harrison (forgot his last name) are motivating such people. i had 2 racism incident in last few months. majority of indians are not trouble makers and are amongst the richest community in all of canada with the lowest crimes. many indian doctors, nurses, IT sector, engineers etc... now where does the problem lie. it is with poor immigration policies which lowered its standards. the requirements has to be raised higher and highly educated bunch is who we should bring in. many people from punjab india are involved in crimes and drugs and these are the people involved in the separatist movement and jagmeet and justin brought them in for votes. they need to go and so do those who are not loyal to canada. those of you who are racist i can give you a history lesson of the kkk or the crusaders but i know too many good people who i rather not group with you. in fact there is no need to go that route. you can never get rid of all blacks or indians out of canada. we have a history and we have every right to feel canadian as we obey and contribute to the economy and abide the law so f-off.

So there's been an increase on Indian vs Indian crime. The reason being, that the Indian people who came here in the 1900s are established and for so long, hoodlums/Indian government couldn't access them and their wealth or opinions about India. This resulted in immediate violence towards Muslims and their businesses. As a Canadian child (early 1970's) I collected money with my candy on Halloween for people in Bangladesh. We have food banks and shelters and assistance programs for those suffering misfortune and our society WAS designed around public sharable services and programs. When I was a teen, a Guianese immigrant co-worker told me Canadians are stupid for providing handouts to immigrants and he laughed at me for buying his house with my taxes. In recent years there has been an influx of new residents whose focus is how they can take advantage, what they can get for free and those who try to cheat the system and cheat others. The scams and cheating that sends thousands of Indian students to Canada for an education at a school that cant take them is the same kind of scams starting here. The fraudulent proofs of income banks were receiving for house purchases has resulted in an artificially inflated housing market. I just bought a house and my Canadian born Indian neighbors literally gated and locked me out of $6000 of my land, while we were on good terms, because the felt like it. We were a society built on honor, trust and respect and while I wouldn't say its all the fault of Indians, there are by no means a small percentage and its getting worse.

Indians do you allow to move to Canada and filter into the US, before you realize, there are 1.6 BN of them, enough to make real Canadians a minority in their own country. Yes Indians are responsible, India is a very dirty country and immigrants are bringing that to Canada. Recently a beautiful RV park was bought by Indian immigrants and what used to be beautiful is now a ghetto thanks to the new owners. Canadians don’t hate Indians, but Canadians are not happy to convert Canada into a new India. \nThis is not acceptable to have a culture dominate Canada and take over. Canada's immigration policies of the last several years are designed to destroy Canadian culture. It seems India is the main target country that is taking advantage of these ridiculous policies, by quite a large percentage. Though racial hatred can be the result of this for many, which is unfortunate, the reality is Canadians are not wrong for being very angry about this, and not everyone has the luxury or time to be high minded and philosophical about the demise of their culture. You don't need to hate Indians to know what is going on is wrong. Our country is using tax payer dollars to fund initiatives that literally lock citizens out of jobs. When immigration is so massive in the hundreds of thousands per year that is surpasses a country's capacity to integrate them especially if you consider the tremendous cultural difference between Canadians and Indians. Indians as the newcomers are not doing enough to adapt their way of life to embrace the local culture, creating a huge cultural gap between them and their Canadians hosts. Take Brampton as an example, the overwhelming number of Indians there is completely changing the cultural environment of that city and white Canadians dont identity anymore with their city, some have been there for over 100 years, now they feel like strangers and the end up by wanting to leave.

Another fact there is alot of illegal indian immigrants. Who also abuse international student program to get entry into canada not to study. The rise in crime has come from Indian immigrants. We had our airports robbed a canadian was robbed of there money and jewelry which is now in indian and dubai and these criminals left canada to theyre home countries. The indian international students have alot of money in the bank but theyre showing up to homless aid places where they canadians give homeless canadians food they show up there and droves with the 15 household members taking all the food then making youtube videos on how to get free food in Canada. And now these international students specially the ones from india. They are selling fentaly, there stealing citzens and business vehicles and kidnapping. You can look this up yourselfs. Its not canada its not government its these international students fault.

I would say, we Canadians are simply mad about the illegal immigration and the non vetted and and somewhat entitled immigrants that destroy our way of life. I live in Surrey, which is predominantly Indian, and we don't suffer these issues as we don't have a lot of the illegals coming here that is noticeable at least. I think Ottawa and Toronto is seeing most of these negative issues because of the large amount of new illegals coming there and not having access to homes and our comforts we take for granted here in Canada. I also think it is frustrating to have leaders that pander to these illegals for their votes. Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Yeah, I agree with you, I have friends that are Indians and never had a problem. If the liberal government had made sure that we had the number of houses to accept all these immigrants and they brought in the people we need and not trouble makers we wouldn't be seeing this problem. It's to bad the way Canada is going down hill because of this government. Hopefully everything will get back to normal after the next election but it's going to take time now to fix the mess.

I saw Indians pooping on beaches in PEI and NB this summer and throwing garbage everywhere. Now they are protesting to stay when their visa's have expired. They complain about school and housing, but at the same time, exploit food banks and take up entire neighbors up degrading land value with their crime and trash. Then whenever you interact with them, they are rude, speak quickly and do not learn to adapt to our way of life. Instead we get more protests and violence. Indians abroad are responsible for billions in fraud and mismanagement across many sectors, and Indian government openly hamulated Canada on several occasions. On the count of immigration to Canada, more then 2/3 are coming from India and many are unvetted. Indians are not global people, they are not friendly or adaptable. Taking advantage of our hospitality and complaining when they stop getting that treatment pretending it's not their fault. Indians should go back to India and fix whats going on there. Get better schools, and have better manners. You have generations of youth who are very rude and dirty. I wish everything I said wasn't true, but with many personal experiences and others sharing, we have found the same is true about all of this many times over, in a span of 10 to 15 years. I am Canadian born citizen, unemployed, 2 and a 1/2 years. Because I didn't know that the Trudeau government in 2022 when I lost my job due to the pandemic was allowing them to import T.F.W's as executive assistance my level of experience into my industry. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get an interview withe almost 20yrs of experience and I was trying every trick in the book but a week ago I learned that they brought in over 2 years 300,000 admins at all levels from E.A's to receptionist now. So imagine my horror and shock to learn that 5 days ago. But you walk in everywhere. And it's just Indians from every part of South Asia and I am all for immigration I'm a child of an immigrant, but immigration is a science When dealing with a country like Canada, where it's designed to be many cultures like a 20 bean soup. You're supposed to try and keep it at being a 20 bean soup and within 3 years it became like a 2 bean soup. It's a science where you're replacing your dead, and then you bump it up like 10% to grow the population slowly with GDP so that you don't have so many Canadians. Unemployed and temporary foreign workers that come are employed. So everybody's contributing but the way they did the open door everybody bum rush. And over run the country. Our economy is now 60% dependent on people who aren't residents. They're temporary which means when they leave our fake economy is actually only built on 40% to 30% of Canadians. That's an economy that will crash because it's never supposed to be weighted that way, Canadians are supposed to be 60% to 70% of the economy and foreign workers are to be the rest. So we're in trouble when they finally go home, but they need to put a moratorium on PR's, Work permits, LIMA's, T.F.W's and restrict all educational institutions on how many Students they can accept so private schools don't scam students by taking their money then telling them they don't have a seat for them to attend class that is just criminal and do so untill end of 2025 and then review status again for 2026. So Canadians can have a shot at getting work and then slowly introduce them back in as needed for proper slow population growth and not just a free-for-all ability to work anywhere in the whole country. Major cities and everything like that. So people like me can finally get back to work.

Indians and brown people in general should be the most worried about this as these new immigrants are ruining their reputation by not accepting our cultural values. Instead of just calling us racist, Indians should take the criticism and act right and hold each other accountable in their communities if they want to earn the respect of Canadians.

Well then make the immigration policy easy as simple as that...\nMe as an Indian nurse have been contacted with myriad of agents on linked in and WhatsApp stating that Germany is in dire need of Indian nurses under skilled work immigration, and we require at least B1 or B2 level German speaking nurses. Provided that nurses have to complete their certification coutse from their home country which is quite lengthy and sometimes unattainable because of the excess work load on nurses in private hospitals in India especially in Metropolitan cities.\nSo make the policies easier for foreign nurses by taking the experienced nurses and ask them to complete their German Language course once they arrive in Germany probably while doing their bridging nursing program ??

I grew up in Vancouver, Richmond and South Surrey/White Rock. I have white, asian and indian friends. I have the same group of employees for my business. The issue is the new immigrants are not vetted the same way they used to be. Its not that its Indians, Chinese, etc, etc, its about who they are letting in specifically. The standards changed when the Liberals took power again in 2016. Nothing against Indians other than the standard of who we let in. We are letting in the lower grade of individuals than what we did before. My IT guys, who are Indian, agree. They say the government lowered the standard. My opinion is based upon asking my friends and employees what they think and know. They know its a big problem. And it doesnt take a person to be racist to have these observations. You just need to look around and ask questions.

It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Unfortunately, much of what Canadians complain about are true as I experienced it first hand. I won't list this because others have. I absolutely agree that you are ambassadors when outside the home country, as I think the same in my travels. Overall I believe it is a blatant disregard for Canadian culture and laws, and lack of assimilation with Canadians, especially white, that has caused this to be the big part of this divide. I see, hear it, experienced it. I admit it leaves a bitter taste.\nImmigration only works when both parties can blend together and respect one another. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. It is like a marriage where one has to always take into account your partner's point of view, making compromises along the way for both partners, not exploiting the other's weakness, or disrespecting their views.\nThe government caused this issue to come more to the forefront in recent years by ramping up immigration numbers and putting pressure on the system. Canadians have now had enough. We have lost our culture, and feel like the minority in a country where we paid into the social systems all our lives, only to get little benefits, just more taxes, and see those systems being abused. There is no easy answer here.

I personally used to love indians. Especially punjabis. The ones who immigrated here in the 80s and 90s were quiet, dignified and productive.\n\nThey were family oriented and blended into canadian society seamlessly.\n\n\nThis is what indians need to do in order to regain respect again.\n\n1. Call out other indians who do not assimilate into canadian culture. And stop saying youre indian. My parents both immigrated from italy, and they never call themselves italian.....just canadian.\n\n2. Speak english a little better, and learn proper manners and customer service. The reason you came to Canadabwas because you saw it as a paradise where you could flourish. Learn the culture. Embrace wherenyou are.\n\n3. Follow the law. Pay your taxes, and find some NON indian friends who can help you assimilate easier.\n\n\n\n\nCanadians are very kind caring people overall. Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. Canada in one of the most diverse country, go to a school here, they celebrate and acknowledge different cultures and teach about them. I think Indian are well settled and living luxurious life here.

Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.
