I wish Trudeau was our president. I hate what is happening in the U.S. because of Trump and his minions. Putin must be gleeful at the destruction of the U.S. and all of the favors that Trump has given to him. The American people do not want this horror show that Trump and Musk has orchestrated. The Trump cult is bringing the downfall of America in the world. We are no longer the 'home of the free and the brave', and Trump is no longer the 'leader of the free world'. America will diminish and become a small, petty, stupid, country. I am glad for Trudeau, and Micron, and the UK and all of the democratic countries and people. I feel horrible for what is happening to Ukraine because of Trump. Mr. Trudeau, you are a fine and wonderful person and head of your country. I wish that you could help us out of this madness. :(

I'm American, I'm cheering for Canada. Our government has broken its word to yours. I do not believe that Trump's actions represent the wishes of most Americans but many of them DID vote for him (and the utterly spineless Congressional Republicanswho enable him) and all of us are going to pay the price, quite literally.

I am a patriotic American. I apologize to Canada for what Trump has put Canada through and what he intends to do to Canada in the future. All I can say is that there are many people who wish Trump out of office and are doing what they can to achieve that end. So sorry Canada. Trump has bullied, threatened and failed to pay thousands of tradesmen and contractors that have worked for him and wishes to hurt them further by extending and increasing tax cuts to individuals and institutions that have not paid their fair share of taxes and social security since the Reagan years. The allegations that Trump has laundered money for Russian oligarchs since his association with Deutsche Bank began are substantial and should be investigated.

I don't know if I will make it through this but there are people out there in worse situations with more overtly oppressive governments, so I can't complain too much.
