Canada has a weird system where the border is guarded by CBSA but patrolling it done by RCMP, that's like saying CBP guards the border but the federal police (FBI) patrols them (in real life it's ICE that does this). As someone who formerly worked with the DHS, and by extent, ICE, the real headache that comes with deporting someone is verifying a derpotee's nationality/country of origin, and getting said country to also verify the deportee's nationality. Information one with nothing to lose will most likely not give up willingly. Contrary to popular belief, you can't just take any illegal and throw them over the Mexican border (unless you're actually Mexican by Nationality.). If they're from any country that doesn't border the US, i.e Mexico or Canada, they must be repatriated to their countries via charter flights. Which is another diplomatic headache unto itself.

There’s free health, good Ammenities, snow is cleared, the roads are salted and de iced, free Education, govt loans and school loans that’s where your tax money goes to. Everyone has an accent that’s your identity why will you feel somehow or intimidated when you are told you have an accent that’s being timid say yes I have an accent it’s African or Caribbean etc. About racism it’s rare never experienced it that’s not saying it doesn’t happen but am gonna call you out if it’s obvious I have been profiled. I find church bells and someone on a motorcycle or a firetruck, while i'm trying to sleep at night bad enough. We had an ice cream truck here in eastern Ontario not allowed to play their music due to a complaint, which i think is overboard. But there is a reason for noise bylaws. Like i'm not allowed to blast Rock Music in my yard or apartment, i'd have the police show up due to a noise complaint. A country which is very similar to Canada is Australia. I wonder if Australia has the same problems for immigrants and locals that Canada has. I have been to both countries and honestly find no real difference between both countries except for the fact Canadians have a differenct accent and play and follow different sports like Ice Hockey etc. and of course the climate but other than that I find both countries very similar. My question is do both countries have identical problems?

Completely fair that the cold isn’t for everyone. If you don’t like winter activities, there’s literally no point living here. For me, I could not live without skiing , skating, ice fishing and just messing around sledding, snowball fights etc. and other fun winter activities and festivals. There’s something about coming in after a cold winter day, sitting by the fireplace and drinking hot chocolate (not to say Canada’s always cold as summers are extremely hot). In terms of your other points, very debatable, as the grass isn’t necessarily greener on the other side and every country have their problems, but to each their own. Best of luck with everything :)

the thing with canada is that, they have also tried to differentiate themself as somehow more noble and wiser, and more progressive than their southern neighbor United states. ? canada is even more weird in that they are quiet about it and will ice you out. I am an immigrant from South Africa here in Edmonton since June of 2023. What the brother is saying is true. Canadians make no room for the human element in the workplace/environment. Everything is based on productivity at the expense of your humanity. They also treat workers as very expendable and disposable. The fact that they import so many foreign workers to do certain jobs is perhaps a reason why born Canadians no longer want to put up with the exploitation (I don't know if this is the true reason though).\n\nCanada is very convenient, and public services and infrastructure are amazing compared with South Africa. But the rest of the culture is very sterile. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and Ice Hockey are considered cultural identities. Maybe the older generations had a distinctive culture, but most Canadians of today's are only interested in consumerism and the car lifestyle. If you are looking for people with warmth and depth, you will most likely find it with fellow immigrants (and maybe the poor and marginalized communities of Canada).\n\nCanada is a very safe country, and South Africa may not be worth it for me to return to. But the strongest element I thought for coming to Canada was that people here appreciated life and each other. This is not true. Canada is 'stable and happy' because the people are intoxicated by the comfort that material wealth provides the individual (despite all their complaints and problems, most Canadians still lead very comfortable and easy lives). Take away their comfort and materialism, and they won't know who they are. They won't know how to stand together either since they have been so strongly conditioned to live for themselves as individuals.\n\nCanadians are known for their politeness and friendliness, and this is true. But there is a big difference between politeness and kindness (and being genuine). Canadians are not kind.\n\nMy opinion is obviously limited and biased. I am sure there are wonderful and pleasant exceptions. But I will still limit these as exceptions. \n\nThink hard before choosing Canada (and perhaps also the USA). Unless you have a strong community to support you here, it will be a lonely and alienating experience.

I want to see Tyler do a cross country trip visiting Canada. Doing certain activities like Calgary Stampede, Saskatchewan Craven Jamboree, and other festivals and events. Maybe some activities like Ice Fishing, Camping, Hiking, dog sledding and such. I think that be fun to watch his first time out in Canada

I went to the Atlanta suburbs a few years ago for corporate training (I was working in Canada for a US based company). There were people from all around North America there, who did not know each other before meeting there. What shocked me the most, even more than the constant subtext racism between people, in the news, everywhere basically, more than the senseless political debates where people take for one side just because, no matter the truth and lies, the arguments or even the crimes comitted by one side or the other, is the fact that 2 americans, never having met before, were talking about their prefered gun makes and ammunition types literally 5 minutes after having met the first time. THAT is unhealthy! THAT is scary! I just went with the flow and accepted it, and I kept noticing it for the 2 weeks I was there. In Canada, we talk about the weather to break the ice with strangers. In the states, you talk about guns. That is what we call gun culture and that, more than anything else, is why I'll never live in the US.\nOh, and just to make it worse, when I tried to explain why we did not feel like we had to have guns on our person in Canada, not a single American I talked to could ever begin to understand. Not centering your life around the fact that you can or cannot have a gun is just impossible for Americans, it seems.

Nice video, yet I find that you talk a lot about number differences with the USA and other countries and fail to explain how these differences are lived inside Canada. \n\nAfter lockdowns, I left the urban centres of the Quebec-Windsor corridor to settle in maritime Canada, and life here is very unique. \n\nFog, snow, rain, winds, ice, fires, every thing is very local. The closest chain restaurant like Tim Hortons is more than 1hour away by car. Anyday the roads can be closed, the ferries cancelled, isolating tens of thousands of people. Although most Canadians live in large urban centres, and don't have to deal with these issues, there is still a large population living in radically isolated areas.

So you base the whole white population of Canada as racists on the opinion, dubious at best, of yet another Black woman suffering from severe victimhood syndrome.
