Mass deportation means there will not be anyone to harvest our produce, so we will have massive food shortages and dramatic increases in inflation. The Republican Party used the border security lie to scare people into voting for their racist ideology. They despise non-white people, even the ones our economy depends on. Everyone should prepare for a major recession and dramatic increases in inflation. These Republican policies are going to crash the US economy. This is what you get when you vote for a convicted felon who is a prolific liar and racist named Donald Trump.

It won't stop with the illegals. A mass round up and deportation is just phase 1 of Trumps plan. He will go after legal immigrants in phase 2. What maga morons dont understand is that illegals make up a pretty big part of the labor force in America. Mass deportation and the 60% tariff of anything from China (which is 90% of all goods sold in America) and 20% on everything ( food, oil, etc) will crash the economy and send us into a recession. You can't put high tariffs, which the end consumer (us) will end up paying and make things cheaper. It's like all common sense went out the window.

Trump and you you bank are going to bring this country to a mass recession i will bet on it

Here comes the New trump RECESSION
2024-11-09 0
Reap what you sow morons. Enjoy the recession Trump voters. It’s coming through his tariffs, mass deportations (inflationary as immigrants work in the food industry and housing) and enjoy giving a tax cut to the rich while you see your safety net cut (Medicare, Medicaid, social security etc).
2024-11-08 0
First year…labor shortage. Second year … food shortages and high inflation. Third year… record bankruptcies and business closures. \nFourth year… recession
2024-11-08 0
Congratulations to yall immigrants that voted for Trump they are going to drive the US Debt higher and higher and thanks to yall Republicans on the future recession that is to come. Also thanks Ms Harris for trying to warn everyone.
2024-11-08 0
Regardless of how you feel about illegal immigrants, mass deportations will result in 1. An increase in prices, especially food, considering many if not mostworkers in agriculture are illegals 2. A contracting economy overall, considering illegal immigrants spend money on the economy. Reducing the population by 15 million will result in a recession.
2024-11-08 0
Massive unfunded govt spending that will cause a major recession and end of global trade beofre ww3 starts. But at least we will finally get those Fema desth campa.
2024-11-08 0
This is going to tank GDP which will place the economy in a downward spiral which means a recession. I am amazed at the people that are in the different branches of government that do NOT understand Economics 101. This goes to show you that you do not have to have common sense to run for office. This is so dumb.
2024-11-08 0
Banks wants to “deport every single one of them.” Economists say that will lead to somewhere between a recession and possibly our worst depression.
2024-11-08 0
This will make our food prices go up. Food will rot in the fields as no one will be around to pick them. Who going to make beds and clean hotel room including resorts. Who is going to mow your lawn and trim your trees? Who is going to clean your tables and wash your dishes in the restaurants? Who is going to pave the streets and roads etc. Our food prices will go up, and businesses will be hurt. Our Gross National Product will decline. Tariffs will increase the price we pay for clothes, shoes, etc. Inflation will rise, unemployment will rise, and we will be headed into a recession according to experts. Of course, the uneducated does not listen to experts, only Donald J. Trump. Worst American President in history. ☹☹
2024-11-08 16
Cool. A well thought out plan. So, when you start deporting workers who work in agriculture and meat processing, and the only solution is to raise wages or slow production, this is going to be immediately inflationary. In about a year, the prices at the grocery stores and at fast food restaurants are going to be significantly higher. Combined with the inflationary tariffs, this will cause a recession. \n\nIf you voted for Trump because of high inflation, the next few years are going to be confusing.
2024-11-08 0
So this mass deporation will cost $100 bil to achieve (some estimates put it at over $300 bil) and those immigrants pay approx. $100 bil in taxes (including paying into SS, which they can't use) and many of them do menial jobs for low wages that citizens do not want to do (unless you pay them more, which raises prices)... combine this with potential tariffs and this sounds like a foolproof plan for a recession with stagflation. I want to say Trump voters can FAFO, but unfortunately they are going to bring everyone down with them

Everything will be Just as it was 2017-2020 Him going to Mar-ALago ,Playing Golf much of the time ,American taxpayers paying for whatever wall is constructed which isn’t very much . ,Recession , inflation Usung The White House as his Party House ,Constant Lies and frequent Corruption and Melodrama which he enjoys vas it spotlights him . He’s a Attention Seeker . People will tire of this before long . But 4 years is a Loooong Time People !! Thanks for Selling our Country out our Country !! ????‍♀️?

“It kept us out of a recession” \nBy destroying the quality of life for the average person. You could let Canadians use the natural resources we have in this country to create real wealth instead of importing millions to work for slave labour like conditions.
2024-10-25 0
Canada is in a recession when you look at GDP per capita.
2024-10-25 0
Because they're sitting around blocking sidewalks with their ebikes.. start sending them home there's no way we can continue to pay for their wellbeing.\n\nThis moron talking about how bringing these beings here somehow stopped a recession? Come on Canada our country is as polluted with shit as the great lakes are
2024-10-25 0
Why? Because it was a non-plan and completely DETRIMENTAL to this country and PREDATORY to many of those immigrants who upon their expensive one way trip realized they are walking into a health care/education/infrastructure/housing/employment system that is woefully inadequate for meeting even the needs of the people who ARE ALREADY HERE. \ncriminals and clowns have been running this country into the ground.\n\nClaiming that massive immigration prevented a recession is admitting that you used immigration influx to fudge your otherwise dwindling, nose diving economic numbers.... MINISTER.
2024-10-24 0
This is the mindset of every one in Canada about immigrants. Least releasing they or their parents were one of them. It is the Prime Minister of Canada who acknowledged that to avoid recession they had to bring in many immigrants and now there are many. It’s is not nice for a senior to behave in such manner. With such behaviour from a senior people will not have respect for seniors.
2024-10-21 0
Don't be fooled. Canada is in fact in a per-capita recession. The only reason we are not seing a recession is all those migrants are bringing money to spend. But when that runs out (and it already started), the real crash will come.

The recession happening now is due to COVID. \nThe lack of liquidity in our Canadian pockets is due to COVID.\n\nMade in Canada is a must. \n\n❤ BEAUTIFUL BHARAT \n❤ BEAUTIFUL CANADA

It is unfair to the individuals who are relocating to Canada under the current circumstances. Recognizing the issues with our nation's trajectory does not require one to hold racist views. If Canadians genuinely cared about all people, they would seek to prevent the misleading promises made by the Liberal and NDP governments. Many immigrants were promised a prosperous country but have instead encountered challenges such as a housing crisis, rising cost of living, opioid addiction and homelessness issues, inflation, healthcare strains, high unemployment, high taxes, and a declining standard of living. \n \nNotably, Canada is technically in a recession, and without the influx of money brought in by immigrants, the country's economic struggles would be more apparent. The economy appears healthier on paper due to foreign investment and spending, but underlying issues persist. While immigration has significantly impacted Canada in multiple ways, the responsibility lies not with the immigrants who were overpromised, but with the Liberal and NDP governments that have underdelivered. To clarify, I am not a conservative. The CBC has produced an informative piece on this topic for those interested in learning more.

Recession
2024-09-07 0
The immigration file has been completely botched and mishandled by an inept and very stupid government. Mass immigration without a plan for increased housing, medical staff, infrastructure help, or even increased staff at immigration centres, etc. is madness, and chaos has ensued. I studied in India for several years, and was careful to respect Indian culture vis a vis dress codes, learning Hindi, and behaviour. It is only normal courtesy to do so. It becomes more difficult when numbers increase drastically over a v. short period of time since people coming here are not widely exposed to Canadian culture. This completely inept and corrupt government needs to go: like yesterday. I think of myself as anti-racist, but when I go for a medical test and see that 95% of patients appear to be of middle-eastern origin, while I haven't been able to find a family doctor for 10 years, I do get a little irritated. And I'm a boomer; younger people in Canada are competing for education, jobs, housing, as well as medical care, so I can understand people becoming angry. I think that currently this backlash is against the government, not immigrants, and not one community in particular. I am cynical enough to think that this government went for mass immigration because they have no economic plan for prosperity, and bringing in several millions would raise GDP. But percapita GNP has been falling for 8 quarters, so we are definitely in a recession. I think Trudeau did this so his economic incompetence would not be obvious. Anyway, that's my appeal: we should be upset at a government that caused this chaos, not at individual immigrants nor a specific community.

What’s n America why you want to migrate to USA, want to die of hunger, it’s so much recession going on in usa, stay where ever you are migrating is no more better, all world is in a big problem, even the locals who are here for generations are surviving hardly

TRUDEAU IS A BIG LIAR, TRAPPED INDIAN STUDENTS TO MADE GOOD ITS RECESSION AND TO BOOST ITS ECONOMY. COLLECTED ADMISSION & TUTION FEE , NOW WANTS TO KICK OUT THEM FROM CANADA.

People need to stop trying to game our immigration system. The abuse is hurting the Canadian people and immigrants. We have mass homelessness and housing crisis, a drug epidemic and high unemployment. Our economy is in recession. There are no opporunities here anymore. The Canadian dream is ruined. Its very sad.\n\nPeople who arriving with no where to live or work and are living on the streets in -40°. People are dying on out streets becoming isolated in a foreign nation they dont know how to survive in and lots are becoming depressed and addicted to drugs or start commiting crimes. Lots are saying they regret coming to Canada and that they were better off before. Many are leaving Canada, because its too expensive to live in Canada, even for high skilled Canadians.\n\nIts not the promise land that people coming here think it is. Canada is in trouble.

Recession in these countries...no jobs nor housing, already immigrants are living on welfare in these countries that brought jehadis from war stricken nations

well, if they were there for school, not sure how many completed it, or just went to work and whatever... If done or failed, go back, and apply properly, everyone sees worldwide how past few years of extremely lax immigration standards and enforcement is affecting ALL Western Liberal led governments, all suffering. Sorry, but EVERYone has to go through proper channels again, and there is a lot of financial and social damage done through the Trudeau Regime we're frikkin broke. There is going to be worldwide recession and depression and possibly famine and civil wars, you name it nothing at the moment is looking good ANYwhere.. He is importing votes, but he is going to be gone as soon as we can..... cannot believe they won't arrest him after all his crimes and obstructions and laundering. All see the disaster this unfettered access everywhere has wrought. We love ya, but we must focus on realities, grim, and this is all still in infancy stages. is gonna be a very cold Winter, and probably a very hungry ones, and a lot of places are just going to have to shut down. Either you have finished your schooling, or withdrew, whatever.... school is done. That service paid for is now over, nobody stopping LEGAL citizenship routes when space and need arise.

Canada's most of the social welfare schemes work on the high taxes collected from working class. But Canada isn't manufacturing much stuff and exporting. So economy is still stagnant. Long waiting time for healthcare is because of huge influx of immigrants but not enough investment in medical staff. Right now there's recession too so getting job for immigrants is tough. Housing is also getting affected. Canada needs to address these issues.

Not only Indians are being sent home. My country people as well and all foreign students. Don't despair. The world is having economic and housing problems because of the recession. Cansda will open again until Canada recovers from this situation.

This almost same situation happened in 2014 when the recession and foreign workers program issues became a headline that time. That time when the government launched the express entry program.

It's Ukraine and how the Government sending billions to them, causing recession.

They are international students not immigrants. At the same time Indian students in particular have been sold the Canadian dream and once arriving in canada they are shocked by cost of living in canada. They end up working low income jobs, barely afford rent and food. This is not something experienced by Indian students only but by all students. Canada is in undeclared recession, the labour market has slowed down while cost of living has surged.

Up until the 1970s, the world was divided into 2 spheres, the rich west and the rest. With the rise in oil prices and the increased technological sophistication that enabled cheaper global manufacturing, billions of people in the Middle East and Asia especially have rapidly evolved into competitive workers that successfully took over control of supplying the world with manufactured goods. The transfer of these millions of western jobs to the east increased slightly the living standards of billions of Asians to the huge detriment of the living standards of millions of westerners. The long term solution to this problem is a massive increase in trade barriers to restore manufacturing jobs in the west. This in the short term will lead to massive inflation and recession, but in the long term will restore self sufficiency and increased employment in the west and restore pride and dignity to its people.

Recession or affordability crisis means basically the same thing to me
2024-08-27 0
Let me be clear.\n\nThis moment right here is where we see the country fall into recession.\n\n\nBecause the government has been hiding unemployment numbers with the TFW program.\n\nBuckle up.

We didn’t plunge into a recession?!? Why because they say we didn’t?!? It’s very obvious we’ve plummeted into absolute economic peril. Housing, energy and FOOOOOD are now consuming average Canadians incomes!!! ???

so it means that we need more charismatic entrepreneurs to make more money and increase the number of competitors. I am not from Canada however I still feel like canada is a new country and it will grow for sure. It's much younger then US and we are experiencing stress and difficulties at the moment but we will rise. I live in Italy and I do not see any opportunities like in here. For sure US is more attractive but I hope Canada will change in the next 10 years. During recessions you can make more money than before. Can I have your opinion as well? I would like to talk to someone about it.

Canada is an Immigrant country, historically White supremacists / Imperialists have basically genocided/ moved to reservations the Native Canadian Indians, like USA and Australia. The Land belongs to them. It was violently Colonised By the British/ French, and other Europeans, similar to USA. Its an immigrant nation. She is an immigrant of former USSR. Canada's problem is that they have been in recession for 3 decades. They have not capitalised on opportunities in the Economy. There is a lack of jobs, lack of manufacturing, over dependence on USA industries. Poor leadership.
2024-08-19 0
I believe this is happening in most of the countries currently. No matter where you move plus minus you will find it same. Its due to global recession and increase in interest rate as well as current ongoing wars.

Good girl! Canada has a debt of more than 2 trillion dollars with 10 million households. When the debt exceeds 0.88 of GDP, recession and poverty will cover the country.
