Why weren't you saying all this before the election?
2024-11-26 0
Wouldn't need to deport these people if they weren't let in to begin with.

as a young canadian i got denied from alot of the schools i wanted to go to, i figured it was probably because my grades weren't perfect, but the reason i want to go is to improve! and yet when i visit the school its almost entirely immigrants who pay 4 times as much, not 100% sure thats the reason but i cant help but make that comparison

Lets be perfectly clear. The are illegals and immigrants who've met the entrance requirements. I grew up in an immigrant neighborhood. They weren't looked down on. No matter their color or religious beliefs. Mostly good people who were friends working hard to raise their families. Just seems everyone is these days equating immigrants with migrants. This has to stop! We're all immigrants in this country and people should realize the contributions the we all made to this country. Enough racism and bigotry. I just can't fathom what this country has become.

The fact that Trump along with the Republican Party blocked a bill which would have dramatically reduced immigration just so they can pretend like the Democrats weren't doing anything and stir up even more drama about is very telling.

The Biden administration deported more undocumented immigrants in 2 years than Trump deported in 4 years.\n\nThey did it without hate speech, without divisive hate, without lies, propaganda, and ignorant rhetoric. They did it without separating families, without inhumane conditions, and promoting an environment of fear. They did it without breaking any US laws, without breaking international laws, and without violating the Geneva Convention. They did it without violating the rights of asylum seekers.\n\nThey did it without forcing a government shutdown, declaring a fake national emergency, and using it to steal $15 billion from the defense/military budget for a wall Mexico didn’t pay for, to be built when a wall already stood. $15 billion for 54 new miles of fencing? What’s the art of THAT deal? That money, OUR money, the military’s money, could have hired a bunch of new border patrol agents, and implemented a TON of technology, drones, independent monitoring centers, flood lights, high quality cameras….but nope. We got more of the same sh¡t we’ve had for 30 years. Walls. If walls work so well, then why doesn’t the wall that already exists keep people out? Fu€|<ing stupid use of our money. I worked at the southern border for 10+ years. I once watched someone drive a truck over a border wall with two thick boards on each side, which they just kept there for next time. It took less than 5 minutes. Because walls aren’t magical.\n\nTrump plans to terminate programs like birthright citizenship, DACA, migrant visas, green cards, military service….and he’s planning to deport people who were born here, have citizenship, but their parents weren’t citizens at the time, so he’s deporting them. IT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE. But neither does Trump. Who, BTW married TWO IMMIGRANTS who were undocumented at the time. 4 of his 5 kids were born to an immigrant. Melania’s parents are here through “chain migration.” But, he’s taking that away now, too. JD Vance’s wife is of Indian descent. These are the 2 men who want to kick out immigrants. Undocumented immigrants contributed nearly $100 billion to the economy & social security in 2022 alone. They pay the same sales taxes we do. But they don’t have access to the social programs they’re paying into & they don’t get tax returns. WE KEEP THEM. But sure, let’s kick them all out. Any ONE of trump’s plans is going to cripple our economy anyway. \n\nThings are going to get really, really bad, guys.

Lol he said if you weren't born here you are going back to your country you were born

Its the cost of living that is creating such hard views of life around them. If people weren't struggling they wouldn't be looking to blame anyone for it. Our government has a lot of work to do to turn Canada around.

ICE Acknowledges that 647,000 Aliens with Criminal Charges or Convictions are Roaming Freely in the U.S. \n \nFAIR Take | September 2024 \n \nIn a letter released Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) acknowledged that 425,000 aliens released into the U.S. have criminal convictions and another 222,000 aliens have criminal charges pending. The letter, written by acting ICE Director Patrick Lechleitner, was released by Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales, who received it in response to requests for information he sent the agency six months ago. \n \nThe criminal aliens that Director Lechleitner referred to in his letter – the vast majority of whom are in the country illegally – are on ICE’s non-detained docket. That simply means even though the aliens are deportable, they were released into the U.S. (either by Customs and Border Protection or ICE) while their cases are pending. Their cases may be resolved in several ways, such as being approved for asylum or receiving a final order of removal by an immigration judge. However, until their cases are resolved, ICE tracks these non-detained aliens. The number of aliens on ICE’s non-detained docket has tripled since Fiscal Year (FY) 2018, growing from 2.6 million to 7.4 million in FY 2024. \n \nIn the letter sent to Rep. Gonzales, ICE made several shocking admissions about aliens released into the U.S. as part of the non-detained docket. Over 13,000 aliens have convictions for murder. Another 15,000 have convictions for sexual assault. If that weren’t bad enough, ICE’s letter contained even more detail: 56,000 aliens on the non-detained docket have convictions related to dangerous drugs, 62,000 have convictions for assault; 18,000 have convictions for larceny (theft); 14,000 have convictions for burglary; 13,000 have convictions for weapons offenses, and 2,500 have convictions for kidnapping.\nSOURCE, FAIR US org

Absolutely deplorable. She gave him an opportunity to say something nice like they won’t deport a 99 year old\ngrandmother who swam her from Cuba 50 years ago if she’s “one of the good one.”\n\nInstead he blamed the American people who gave them a mandate. You’re just a single issue voter who cares about their job or prolife, but you spoke loud and clear that they all have to go. Apparently it’s easy to find them even though they never did, and if you just ruin their life here then they will probably want to leave.\n\nAnd once they get rid of the illegals they can get to the bottom of why the police weren’t reporting that hundreds of thousands of Americans were being killed each year by border crossers because that’s what Trump said.
2024-11-12 0
So people are literally saying that if you are a nationalized citizen, but you obtain that status legally or if you are a legal permanent resident that you are still going to be deported because you weren’t born in this country. Can someone shed light on that situation is that true because that doesn’t make any sense to me?
2024-11-12 0
Wowwww!! Clearly she has no idea about the laws and what happens after you’ve been deported. YOU CANT “COME BACK THE RIGHT WAY” for years… sometimes 15-20 years. And because of “quotas” and limits on population from countries, chances are they will never come back. This last sounds a lot like the wyt folx who say they did it “the right way” at Ellis Island etc. back when you just stood in line for a doctor to make sure you didn’t have cholera and other diseases or weren’t insane. I’d be v curious to know when this trader stood in line, and where she lives now.
2024-11-11 0
Why weren’t you accountable for your crimes, just like everyone else??? That’s what we have for a President!! What an embarrassment!
2024-11-11 0
What! You weren't legal?
2024-11-10 0
She's selfish, very selfish. She forgot when she was on the other side. It's different times. People weren't running for their lives like they are now. She came for a better life that's a big difference. God help this momma.?
2024-11-10 0
I don’t care if they have families or not. They weren’t worried about that when they came here illegally!
2024-11-10 1
When there are up to 15 million illegal ones. Why weren't they arrested and deported in the last few decades of Republican governments? The answer: Because American society thrives on the exploitation of these people and the people who benefit from it do not want deportation at all.
2024-11-09 0
Human right obligation? What about our human rights? They shouldn't have been let into Canada in the first place without due process. They weren't coming in because their country was destroyed. We already had too many homeless citizens here because of Trudeau and the Feds and their policies and mandates, which the people of Canada will change very soon. Sending our manufacturing overseas and making business and people's lives unaffordable and funding Wars. The people can go back home and fix their own Countries, then will talk.
2024-11-09 0
❤?????? And we are behind them. You all brought this on yourselves. Unfortunately, Trump and others have the unenviable task of cleaning up this mess. We didn't bring them here. They weren't slaves on a ship like my descendants. They broke the law, and they have to return home. Period. These are adults who made the decision to break the law, and if they have their children with them, they should take them with them. No one wants you to leave your children; that would be cruel. But take them with you and go home. \n\nDo it the right way!!!
2024-11-08 0
She Asked him how do you do it. And his answer is I don’t think it’s that complicated. I think they may end up sending legal immigrants back to their original homelands and that would be a crime. I mean look what they did to all those illegal immigrant children when they separated them from their families and too many of them just went missing. Did you people really forget about that? Of course you did since they weren’t your children you selfish a***s.

As first generation American all this endless whining is getting old. When my family came here, they all had to have a health certificate and a sponsor that guaranteed they would have employment and housing waiting for them when they got here. If not, they weren’t going to be allowed on the boat to start with. No free housing, health care, food or education. \n \n\n So what part of ILLEGAL ALIEN isn’t being understood. This kind of nonsense isn’t allowed in virtually any other country on the planet. Try to cross into Mexico or Canada illegally and see where you end up. The argument is Americans don’t want to do the jobs that the illegals do yet back in the day Americans did do these jobs. The problem is too many Americans today think jobs that require physical labor are beneath them and too many are getting paid way too much for what the job they’re doing entails. Sorry but flipping burgers and asking if you want fries with that IS NOT a job worth $15 or $20 bucks an hour.

We the people did NOT send a mandate to remove undocumented immigrants.\nFACTS MATTER\nExit polling shows that:\n55% wanted undocumented immigrants to have a path to citizenship\n36% want all undocumented immigrants removed immediately\nDONT TELL US WHAT WE SAID\nEven more to the point there are at least 335m Americans\n1/5 of them were able to and voted for trump, 1/5 of them voted for Harris, and 1/5 did not vote. The other 2/5th weren't eligible to vote\nIf you want to talk about a MANDATE tell us why trump got 2% fewer votes than he did in 2020\n20% of Americans do not a MORAL mandate form
2024-11-08 0
? weren't the pilgrims illegal. Wasn't America built on, immigrants ?.
2024-11-08 0
Ironically, if Democrats weren’t so eager for Latin Americans to enter our country Harris might not have lost so bad on Tuesday lol.
2024-11-08 0
Do they not understand that the illegals who came across the last 4 years are the ones he's actually concerned about because THEY AREN'T VETTED the ones here prior with actual paperwork if you were here during Trump and you weren't deported what does that tell you
2024-11-07 0
CHECK Stephen Millers tweet about denaturalisation. That means those who became citizens will have it revoked. So not only illegals but US born latinos who's parents weren't citizens, Haitians, black people and these Cubans too. Trump said he only needed their votes. Idgaf, they voted him, they pay the price. Same goes fir non-voters.
2024-11-07 0
Hypocrites. Cubans came here under wet foot dry foot. They were treated as refugees. Yet they have the audacity to talk about immigration? You aren’t from here. The doctors who immigrated from Cuba weren’t always doctors. They ended up being nurses aides because medical schools wouldn’t accept them.

The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Biden's administration! \nIt's all been a lie manufactured for one purpose: to scare monger Trump's base. And it worked. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

If there weren't so many spineless leaders in our country, they would deport illegals here too.
2024-11-06 0
No one ever talks about how Europeans got here. They weren't vetted. In fact, Europeans sent their criminals here. Now, they outnumber the natives.

They should deport this women too ? you weren’t born here go back

Social medias from Canada it’s not critical thinking in this country. All you’re doing is scapegoating who’s did who a lot of people weren’t doing anything about it in political activism and writing letters to him he’s just keep on blaming heat, but no people to come to Canada from Indian Summer good and there’s a lot of slough too

Wait now, Palestinians cannot say too many Jews coming to their land because they are supposed to just give it up but these white hypocrites and racists can say you don't belong in Canada because your parents weren't born there?

Why do Saudis look and sound like English actors in costume? If it weren't so serious and dire, I would think I am watching Monty Python.

It would be fixed if it weren't for Trump wanting to use the problem to get re-elected.

Weren't YOU the ones who sided with the British against the Ottomans? Weren't YOU the ones who destroyed the railways and opened the door to the Israeli occupation? Do you feel you lifted the weight on the Palestinian people or did you drop the first mountain on them!

If you weren’t born here you have no right to talk. Go home if you have an issue

I bet you that a lot of the homeless immigrants weren’t homeless in their own country. They keep hearing that the grass is greener here but it’s not necessarily the case for everyone.
