The sudden wave of immigrants coming to Canada was too much all at once. Them not respecting the Canadian ways doesn't help the fact that they are taking over our country. If they respected public places and spoke English like everyone else (or at least tries their darnest) maybe people who were born and raised in Canada wouldn't have this collective thoughts on them.

The Canadian immigration system is designed to take low quality immigrants. It encourages unethical behavior and there is widespread fraud in the IELTS exams, refugee lawyers, immigration consultants.

As an American who worked in HR for eight years at BMO in Canada, I’ve noticed an important trend: many local professionals often attribute their career struggles to the system, when the real issue is a lack of updated skills. In my previous office of 71 employees, around 60% were Indian and Chinese professionals — many of them exceptionally skilled and hardworking. The fact is, immigrants don’t take jobs; they earn them through their capabilities. I currently work at BlackRock, managing a team of 221 people. Individuals with strong mathematical and analytical abilities often come from Indian or Chinese backgrounds, while only about 20% of our workforce is American. I conduct 4–5 interviews daily, and the pattern remains consistent — candidates from Europe, the U.S., and Canada frequently lag behind in technical skills. It’s a tough truth, but one worth acknowledging: in today’s competitive job market, skill development matters far more than nationality.

They are not indians, most of them is wanted terrios*, indian govt will be happy to take them back, only 10% is genuine immigrant, rest belong to terriost organization called Khalista* which is openly supported by Canadian Government

My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. It’s not even immigration at this point it’s just a full take over and a blatant disrespect for our country. Don’t follow the rules, aren’t compliant , protesting that Canadians don’t respect them and that they should stay there even if the visa is up, demanding money, buying all businesses and blatantly not hiring Canadians because they aren’t of a certain race. It’s extremely disrespectful and we need to start sticking up for the people of this country and have tighter rules and regulations to get in. Disappointed in our country…we’ve failed. What happened to the old school immigrants that would come in work hard build wealth and have pride in moving to Canada. It’s really the younger generation of immigrants that are entitled and stupid. And this is coming from a young person. Some of the immigrants (if you know you know) aren’t even that good at their job, they careless do it half ass and expect tips and that certain details will go unnoticed because they didn’t earn the job they just showed up and were handed the job.

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

The birth rate in Canada is 1.3 per couple. In 1961 it was 3.1 per couple. Coincidentally, this was the same time as the availability of the first birth control pill. It’s been on a downward trend ever since. Populations can’t sustain themselves. Most western countries have the same problem. So we immigrate, and the countries with the highest birth rates will eventually take over the countries with the lowest it’s a sad reality.

We need a huge sweep of these immigrates and the students. Start making one huge clean sweep and give them all back to thier countries. WE CANADIANS are fed up with these immigrates. The Liberals' have to go, we are tired of them. These libreals are just doing thier JOBS and just sit there and collect our hard earned money. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Let PP take over and clean up OUR COUNTRY.

I feel that the problem is the Trudeau government and the NDP allowed to many immigrants into Canada without doing any background research on their status and now we have a huge influx of criminals from many countries. These people have no interest whatsoever in assimilating into our society, they are only interested in taking advantage of our country and generosity.

Indias work hard in every sector so people see them all the time and they think Indians are going to take over and they are real problem But real problems is Ukraine and refugees from everywhere who get free houses and live on welfare and even they get free dental.They are living on Canadian tax payer money. Immigrants don’t get any government help plus visa and other requirements are still there Internet is just home of negativity and full of misinformation.

I was not raised to be racist but at 67 and my family has been in Canada since 1536 , I can now say that I am racist. I do not agree with melding pot beliefs. the people being brought in to my country are NOT TRYING TO MERGE OR ADAPT “OUR” way of life. Better Rules for coming to this Country need to be implemented. like No banking outside of our banking system. no owning property until they have been in Canada for 15 years and have proven that they Support Canada not the country they Left and didn’t bother to try and work on. Dictator or Religious fighting needs to be addressed by THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY. Maybe take some Taxes from the 1% and have them give support to the starving countries instead of the struggling people having to struggle more because of slack immigration laws. ENOUGH ALREADY. It don't matter how you say it... It's plain and simple. Canada let to many criminals and organized crime members into Canada. This is a small part of how they get into countries and take over countries. Wake up and pay attention to the last 10 years history of England, France, Germany etc concerning immigrants coming in and how it changed their Whole Countries.. The same thing has happened in parts of England. The irony is that the immigrants are creating the exact same thing they left behind.....and just take the free perks like education, public health and welfare.

If they committed fraud, take away all the programs and stop more Indian immigrants from coming until time passes and immigration policies improve.

It’s all about the collages and universities keeping the professors and teachers working.. Doesn’t matter what it’s doing to Canadians in the background as long as they stay relevant and get a pay check while teaching courses that will NOT help students in the real world.. Fine those diploma mills, and fraudulent employers, take those funds plus more tax dollars fund CBSA to round up and deport. Expand CBSA powers, add immigration control as secondary task to local police, and lease a cruise ship to deport them back.

Good balanced journalism. It showed the divide not just between those from india and others in Canada but the acceptance and community. There are those that are taking advantage while there are many that are productive and positive members of the community. The one common agreed upon idea is that canadian immigration needs to be tightened up so the posative people can get in and the people who would take advantage of or be criminals are kept outno matter what country they come from.

I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

All of these fake colleges that Canada is letting Indians and other immigrants in are absolutely ridiculous. A ridiculous amount of uneducated immigrants from a several countries are coming in as fake students and fake asylum claims and Canadians have to suffer as a consequence. These people also take loans and cash out on credit, take cash and run back to their country. The rest of Canadians are left holding the bill. F this libtard government we live in.

What a funking irony - this Rempel garner women was in India’s lap in conservative leadership race. She was with Patrick Brown and Indians told to her to quit. She ‘left’ politics to focus on her personal life and came back as soon as Indians succeeded to put Piere as a leader instead of Patrick. I wonder why some people cry about being a minority and wondering why there are so many immigrants. 1. Immigrants are here to pay for your old age benefits. 2. The whites are a minority because of a non-existent family value. 90% come from divorced parents or parents who never married. They also are barely interested in taking the responsibility of having children. A generation that turned away from God and wonder why they are getting extinct! It is also pathetic to see a lot of new immigrants not wanting to keep the city clean and carry on some of the good practices of the people who lived here before.

canadians and her multicultural ways simply can not compete against india, africa, south asia and various latin american countries because of 1 thing - birth rates. and when i say the canadian way and what 'used' to be a balanced multicultural way of life - is now being completely replaced by, majority led, india and a select handful of a few other nations - philippines, nigeria, bangladesh and some middle eastern nations. most of these nations - minus the philippines - have very different values and laws from the west. gender inequality, caste systems and not to mention religious / secular conflicts. racism is also incredible in those nations - again, minus the philippines. the only reason i include the philippines on this list as well is because their numbers are also very high in terms of the recent immigration scams but still not as high as india - who by large is the biggest scammer by a mile. these nations export canadian capital to their home nations and recycle the cash and bring in more of their own people. it is blatant soft power take over of canada without firing a single shot. canadians need to wake up and bring back balanced immigration. i will never accept sharia law, caste systems of gender inequality in canada but it is already here and their population is hundreds to thousands of times more than canada and they are already establishing incredibly strong roots here.

Is Stopping them from coming in, not the easiest answer? Give back the part time jobs to Canadian teens so they can afford to go to school and send home the 8 million immigrants that came into the country during the time of Trudeau and Carney. This will lower cost of housing, right now it takes 5 people on minimum wage to afford a 1 bedroom apartment and we wonder why we have so many people living on the streets. This will open jobs lower prices on food and allow the future generation to afford a a home.

I personally know ppl who got into Canada on fake docs as a student, signed up for some bogus, dumbed down course and after getting his work permit and PR, his GF has gotten into Canada the same way, taking advantage of Canada's corrupt immigration system that is full of loopholes to exploit. Colleges are crying after their "lost revenue, Don't feel sorry for any of them! They are already rich from the international students whom paid triple tuition, while your daughter can't get into a college. The IRCC needs to STOP issuing work permits and residency to international students. Once graduated, needs to go back home..

As someone who comes from latin-america and has been travelling and touristing in Canada for the last 10 + years, and finally decided to take the step to immigrate to Canada through the front door, I can safely say you guys are losing your amazing country. My permit was not approved and you know what, I am not even mad. I see a lot of these people leeching off your government and for some reason they get preferential treatment over people like me who come to do things honestly, work, study, and adding to the country instead leeching from it. Like I said, I first came to Canada a little over 10 years ago, and I am telling you this country is changing for the worse. One thing I also noticed is how back then I always used to hear the memes of Canadians being nice and always saying "sorry". Those memes no longer exist. I know it doesn't say much, but what I am trying to say here is: The quality of the Canadian citizen is 100% decreasing.

I am a Korean international student studying in Canada. These types of news makes me really frustrated.. I heard that due to these reasons, immigration officers has been taking very long time to process study visa permits. I 100% agree with immigration officers that they need to carefully review the applications, because I also think things like this shouldn’t happen in any countries. But, I’m getting frustrated because this is delaying innocent international students’ visa process as well. I’ve finished my undergraduate studies and I decided to pursue master’s under a professor i met in my current university. I was very excited to study the field, and i applied for study extension visa months ago, and still haven’t gotten any updates from IRCC. So I couldn’t get enrolled in Fall semester. I’m still waiting, and i really hope that i can continue studying.. luckily my professor understood this situation and he said he can hold a position for me, but i’m still very anxious about all the situation. I hope all people who come to Canada are honest and don’t do illegal things. I really want them to realize that they are affecting students who just want to study. They are taking away the opportunity for others to learn.

The schools took in billions and made the municipalities take on the burden of rental demands, cost of food and resources. Sue the schools for not providing housing! The video also doesn't really do a good job of concluding. Props to the religious orgs who hand out food and have food banks. Good to care for others and look to take care of others who are poor in the area. That's good religious orgs. A community that cares. Obviously more immigrants from the area is a good thing for relations between India - Canada and other SEA countries. Also, Brampton has been able to generate lots of revenue and wealth. Lots of successful business. Good for Canadian culture as well given we are a multicultural country. Personally, I didn't learn much about India going through school but I am sure there are lots of interesting connections between India and Canada. 😄

This is a great mini doc that takes time to hear out all sides. It's interesting how white immigrants see themselves on a higher tier, the Polish guy was saying Indian immigrants all get hotels- totally untrue! I can understand the immigration problem in your country. The problem I have is where people would use immigration as a cover for being racist. If you want to assimilate immigrants in your country, it would take a while. They will need time and patience. Likely their children will be more assimilated if they were young or born there. A lot of immigrants who are white in your country and your history likely took time for them to assimilate. But their children were likely already assimilated. Also, don’t blame the immigrants for the actions of your government. And yes, your country is changing and it happens all the time when you are nation founded by immigrants. For some of you who think the system isn’t working I get that. But for those who find it a problem when they are not white, just say it.

Thank you for showcasing this city. Brampton has long been the armpit of Peel Region, and the cause of many of the rest of our issues. The new entitled migrants that come here spill out into other areas of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) spreading the crime and loitering, and essentially "taking over" certain places and causing massive issues. Our Car insurance rates in Peel are insanely high, primarily because of Brampton also being a part of Peel, and the high accident and theft rates coming out of that city. We have a massive issue here in Canada with unchecked mass immigration, and we don't see do be doing anything about removing the people who have overstayed their welcome, aswell as an issue with letting the new population move only to the same already developed places, overpopulating those areas that never had the infrastructure to support those numbers of people. Especially the households that are housing more families than just their own, the people who arent citizens that are clogging up our healthcare systems, all the jobs taken up by the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the lack of openings in universities and colleges because of international students. Its unbelievable how much they take advantage of the system.

The government of Canada allowed these Indians to come to Canada in excessive large numbers. They abuse every system of Canada, change the culture of Canada, buy out all businesses in Canada, and employ only their own Indians. They don't drive for licenses, they own the depot, and they don't need credits for loans at the banks because they own the banks. They fight out and make it difficult for all other ethnic groups in Canada. Justin Trudeau seems to have allowed 90% of Indians to immigrate to Canada and 10% of other ethnic backgrounds combined. Trudeau has caused the Canadian culture to be transformed into Indian culture. Canada is no longer Canada. it's become India, and it's extremely unfair to all other ethnic groups. Their agenda is for Canada to be 100% Indians. Canada is in BIG TROUBLE. The Indians are in every organizations and industries, including Immigration, buying out all the franchises, businesses and are the ones fighting against all other ethnic cultured groups, making the system more difficult for other nations to migrate to Canada. Even crime has increased. Canadians need to wake up before Canada totally disappears. The Indians are messing up the Canadian economy. The majority of Indians are here through false documents and don't even speak proper English or even understand the language. Canada is in TROUBLE. They are highly Discriminative. Only making sure Canada only employs Indians in all sectors, not Blacks, not Whites, not Chinese or other Ethnic groups, but only Indians themselves. It seems the Indians are seeking to totally take over Canada and become a world power. This is my view and that of many true concerned Canadian citizens and professionals who care about this country, Canada. The culture has changed and become DISCRIMINATIVE. I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.

"You can take a man out of the village, but you cannot get the village out of a man". Immigration, in particular of India, as alluded in this video, is not a/the problem per se. After all, more than 50% of Canada is immigrants, if you don't want to consider French and English colonizers immigrants, too. The real problem is when Indian immigrants, and truly any immigrants, DO NOT WANT TO ASSIMILATE and/or do not any effort in doing it.

So to talk about people in-fluxing in, taking over cities, causing a boom in the population of their diaspora, not assimilating into the culture....isn't it what "White colonialism ' did? Canada was not white country a couple of Hundred years ago, it was stolen, invaded and completely white washed. Unfortunately no immigrant see Canada for what it should have been under the native people of Canada...so why are you scapegoating it when you're getting a taste of your own medicine. Claiming victimhood doesn't solve anything I guess...

My parents immigrated to Canada from Portugal. They set about trying to be even more Canadian than someone born here. I have no problem with immigration, but I do start to when people refuse to adopt our customs and ways and just act as though they are still in India and don't respect Canada- the country they have moved to. They take advantage of our health care systems, benefits etc etc. I find it sad that Canada is starting to look nothing like the country I remember in my youth.
