Want to do something for your past country? Go back there and volunteer your time or donate your money to relief organizations. Why is it the Canadian governments responsibility to help out a country before helping its own people!\nEnough is enough

And don’t think we don’t know that the 30% cap DOESN’T apply to companies like Navitas who recruit for the universities, are housed in the universities, but are separate, private companies.

Yes they were gaslighting minorities before but only in the last couple of years I faced racism so open and brutal . I do believe in immigration. Canada was built on immigrants and they are a huge part of Canadas identity. THat being said we need to have proper housing and infrastructure for the people we take in. To bring people into the country when we don't have jobs, housing, and overload the health care and other facilities is just bad decision making. I am against closing the doors forever but when we have room for more then we take more until that time we will have to reduce or shutdown the immigration flow.

Grandma has two kids. Both of them stayed away & both decided to raise dogs instead of kids. As long as dogs don't bring Canada money in future, the country dearly depends on immigrants to create a healthy working class. Parents come to Canada to provide free babysitting and cooking services to grandchildren . If they feel lonely it’s because they are not here to make friends but to stay at home . I one case , a grandparent fell ill in Canada and was sent back to India because of inadequate health insurance to take care of himself there on his own while the grandmother was not allowed to go and continued to babysit . These grandparents often are subjected to huge indignities. Lot of comments on how India is so good and Canada so bad . That is so ridiculous. I do not see people immigrating from Canada to India . I do not understand the tale about not getting fresh vegetables . Just step into Loblaws , Zehr , Metro and see what a lie it is . I agree many ethnic stores stock stale vegetables kept in unhealthy conditions . If food doesn’t taste good it’s became no one in the household , neither the grandparents nor the parents , can cook. That is because in India much of cooking is done by servants .

Canada is a country of immigrants. So the new immigrants look different and speak a different language and believe in different Gods. So what ? Did the original immigrants to Canada care what the natives thought about them overrunning the country back in the 1800s ? A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. It's hard for everybody out there, i'm just one of the millions if not billions who go through that.\n\nAlso I don’t think ‘nobody wants to live in Canada’ is entirely accurate. It seems that the idea of canada, and the way its marketed, attracts a lot of new immigrants, and a lot of people would love a chance to live in Canada. It's simply not true. But after the fact , once they have , i could believe that some are not willing to stay and might regret the decision of moving in the first place.

I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. On a positive note, hand guns at least are not legal and our country has beautiful natural land.

interesting I live in the US, and we have the same problems here homelessness, drug overdoses, and high taxes, some states have higher taxes than others, home prices are skyrocketing, and no new homes are being built. no new low-income housing. Just a real shortage in housing period.. Yet, we have gotten so many immigrants from all over the world flooding here. I can't understand why they come. We have terrible medical care. Like I explained, to those who say this will sour the us and canada's relationship. Americans don't care because even though Canada is less than 50% white, in they minds its still a majority white nation. That's why you don't see the BUILD A WALL etc, like you see with mexico, because even though the majority of immigrants crossing into the us from Mexico, might have been Mexican in the early 2000's, now that's not the case, 300k Colombians in one years, 175k indians, 75k turks, 150k, from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, 500k from Russia and Ukraine since the war began, 200k from ecuador, 75k Chinese per year etc etc. And they scream, build a wall, and make mexico pay for it. Because mexico is less than 20% white. At this point with all the immigrants canada gives citizenship too, mexico is probably more white than canada at this point or will be in the near future. But y'all don't see as that, like i said y'all still think canada is a majority white nation when it's not, and mexico is a amarindiean majority nation when with all the immigrants canada has now, sorry, new Canadians mexico is probably just as white or even more so than canada. Grass is always greener on the other side. US has more violent crime, school shootings, homeless, drugs, and inaccessible health care. US foreign policy and economic strength make it both a leader and a target in all kinds of conflicts, which damages the security and future outlook for an average person. Not to mention the clowns and criminals ruling the federal government and running for president.. European countries have their own issues, Asian countries their own (they have greater economic inequality and sexism, among other issues).\n\nI still consider Canada one of the best places to live. I have a good job and a good life here, I feel secure. Yes, there are things I don't like as well, that's why I earn in Canada and travel extensively to get the best of all countries.\n\nAnd finally, the reason real estate is so expensive in Canada is because of how many people want to live here. It's obvious – if Canada stopped being one of the top immigration destinations, real estate would stop growing in value so much.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. It is unfair to the individuals who are relocating to Canada under the current circumstances. Recognizing the issues with our nation's trajectory does not require one to hold racist views. If Canadians genuinely cared about all people, they would seek to prevent the misleading promises made by the Liberal and NDP governments. Many immigrants were promised a prosperous country but have instead encountered challenges such as a housing crisis, rising cost of living, opioid addiction and homelessness issues, inflation, healthcare strains, high unemployment, high taxes, and a declining standard of living. \n \nNotably, Canada is technically in a recession, and without the influx of money brought in by immigrants, the country's economic struggles would be more apparent. The economy appears healthier on paper due to foreign investment and spending, but underlying issues persist. While immigration has significantly impacted Canada in multiple ways, the responsibility lies not with the immigrants who were overpromised, but with the Liberal and NDP governments that have underdelivered. India is a big nation with with diverse peope. The Indians in Canada are Punjabis. So blame Punjabis not ALL Indians. Also the issue with Punjabis in Canada is immigration fraud and exploiting poor Punjabis young people who came for a better life. Also many of the low paying jobs are getting taken over by Punjabis as part of immigration fraud and people are getting angry because other canadians feel discriminated. The truth is that it is not a racism but it is part of the immigration fraud and exploitation of these young Punjabis that their parents spent tons of money to come to canada. Let give you an example, Punjabi managers at lets say company X will hire and sign his/her work permit visa and make them pay $30K as a bribe. \nThese practices harm both Canadians and Punjabi young people who came for a better life. \nIn conclusion, let's not blame ALL punjabis and blame the Canadian government for allowing the crisis to develop.\nBtw, i am not an Indian but i just wanted to give a fair comment. \nTake care

Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. Same happened in 1995 in Richmond BC when Hong Kong leases expired with China. This once beautiful community was completely invaded.\n\nSo much for immigrants who immigrate to Canada that do not understand how Canada works and frankly don't care, There is no education program to help integrate such people to be multicultural , unfortunately this happened with the old Europeans as well as little Italy, and other areas where other European took over little areas of Toronto. \n\nHowever I think Brampton, and Surrey/North Delta/Richmond BC. Is far far worse and much more invaded by people not wanting to truly integrate in Canadian society. It's blantantly in your face and when and event happens india or any other countries of such immigrants are coming from they amsss huge protests to bring it to the media as if Canada is responsible for that. Canada isn't responsible for crap going in other countries and we should no be financially supporting any of it so just ignore these people because they frankly don't care about Canada if they did they'd learn about Canada and be more adaptable instead of pointing fingers and calling the locals in the community they invaded racist. \n\nSimilar things are happening in the Canadian workplace few immigrants who are fully bilingual won't speak English they completely shun English speaking people working there. They must leave. They are adding to our housing problem. \nThere's no jobs for our own youth. Between these students and the temporary foreign workers and the illegal immigrants, Canada's social programs are bursting at the seams. Some of them have no shame in using our food banks and bragging about it online. They are supposed to be living independently. The immigration file has been completely botched and mishandled by an inept and very stupid government.
