Ironically due to the economic conditions and mass immigration, younger Canadians aren’t having children anymore due to it being hard enough to get by without any dependents. I’m in my mid 20s, lots of married friends, none will entertain the idea of kids.\n\nWhat I would prioritize changing:\nA more thorough immigration process that does not favour any country over another. And spread the people out to the smaller communities that need workers instead of turning Toronto into whatever it is. An end to the corporate alliance price fixing on things like insurance, cell phones, and air travel. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. Some smaller Canadian towns I know even lack potable water.\n\nWith the market so bad no one wants to build or buy which is just amplifying the issue.\n\nAnd no carbon tax. I apologize for getting political, but the last 10 years the federal government seems to be more concerned with values and foreign intervention than fiscally responsible decisions. The culture can dictate the values, I just want the government to make the trains run on time.\n\nI hope it gets better soon but I think we are cooked. Least for the foreseeable future.\n\nIt’s ludicrous to be taxed as much as we are here as well. If ur gonna take 40% of my paycheck least make sure its being put to good use. Had to do a double take last time I was in BC and the bill included a “carbonated beverage tax”

You can then use your success as a leveraged in other countries to create even more opportunities. \n\nI have had friends who have sold their houses and properties just to migrate only to meet certain difficult realities on the ground.\n\nAgain, if you migrate to say the USA, you loose some of the exchange rate advantage. Earning say $ 3000 a month in the Ghana for instance is better than paid $ 5000 in the States.\n\nThis is because you spend and are taxed in dollars when in the States whereas Ghana even if you are taxed in Dollars, you spend in Cedis.\n\nSome professions however makes it a bit bearable and sometimes even advantageous to work outside a home country like in the health and tech industries. \n\nTravelling permanently to another country is a life altering decision and needs a careful consideration.

I am from Canada. Landed in 2022 and working as a software engineer. Its one of the most beautiful places in the world and Canadians used to be really good people. But Justin and Jagmeet's govt has ruined Canada by mass immigration from Punjab and mishandling of economy. I agree with most things in this video but it is only because of Justin Trudeau's govt. I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. In the end no one is better than any one else, it is all vanity.?\nIt would seem like we are run by lunatics with severe cognitive dissonance by the fact that we have mass immigration while are own \npopulation is suffering, I admit that mental health and addictions are potent variables that constitute the crisis, I am not niave to those facts. I myself have had long term Sobriety. But it is odd that only a decade ago, homelessness /addiction were problems confined to major cities like Vancouver and Toronto, and now we have tent cities in almost every town with a population of more than 20 thousand people. It would seem like utter stupidity to keep pouring water into a bucket that is overflowing. I suspect that their is an agenda and the destruction of our nation is a part of it, it is a well known fact that the Trudeau government is in bed with Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum. I don't care if you call me a racist, that is a luxury for those who live in gated communities, who create the problem and want to muddy the waters. These elites like to accuse others of what they are guilty of, they are anti human bigots, eugenicists who are ideologically captured, any one who bandies the around words like racist and homophobia, Islamophobia etc. are either those operating with an agenda or a useful idiot.

As a Canadian who was born here I don’t even recognize my home anymore. Used to be predominantly white Canadians and now its rare to find someone who was actually born here or has long lasting family here. Really sad but no one cares because white people are the enemy now. You see so much white hatred in the media and its only predominantly white countries being forced to have open immigration and borders.

They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. They sued the government for the right to ride bikes without helmets, or to not be forced to used safety equipment in construction sites, and for the right to walk around carrying a dagger, because it’s a “religious item”. Canada also for some dumb reason accepts their arranged marriages as a real one. Any person from anywhere in the world has to undergo an invasive scrutiny of their relationship, being forced to provide private conversations, and witness. Punjab people need none of it, and Punjab fathers are selling their daughters to strange men, so the family can move to Canada together.\n\n- Statistics Canada often talk about how our population is aging: However, they do not disclose how many of these aging population is due to Indian nationals bringing their parents and grandparents with them. If we got a million Indian people in the past years, that would mean around extra 4 million people over 50 years old. That’s 10% of the entire population. \n\n- They are scammers. You said yourself: To be eligible for a mortgage , you need to make at least $250k per year. They are landing in Canada with no money, and buying houses right away, because they have a network of people forging financial documents, and the also have people infiltrated in banks to approve these processes. Not me saying, that was national news. \n\n- They are extremely racist. They will openly tell you they only rent/hire/do business with Punjab people. Now, even the buses are driven by Punjab people, is insane. And you can tell they are new comers, because some of them can barely speak English. But is a well-known fact: Once one of them is in, they will make sure to bring in as many of their countrymen as possible, and only them. The DEI department of my company approved a Punjab manager, and now more than half of the staff is Punjab. English is no longer spoken in the hallways. \n\nSo these are just few of the complaints I have about them. I moved to Canada for a better life, and I have fully adapted to this country, and I’m resentful that this government allowed these people to slowly turn Canada into India. I was sold the idea of diversity, and I fell for it. I’m the minority of the minorities. Despite being a full Canadian now, every single day I think more and more of just going home. I’m tired of Canada.

If you want to see what mass immigration from one culture can do, just look at Bramladesh, aka. Brampton. You want a drivers license, no problem, $300 and you pass. Truck drivers license, $800. Mortgage, bribe the broker/underwriter 1% of the mortgage amount and you can easily get one from a big bank even if you don't actually qualify. Rental housing, 2 to 4 students per bedroom, assuming they can get housing at all. Multiple people using the same health card. Multiple workers using the same ID. Three drivers per transport truck, one legal and two illegal so it can be operated 24 hrs a day. Just the tip of the iceberg as I'm certain there are many more scams/loopholes being utilized than I'm aware of. Many Indians are hard working, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, live in horrid conditions until they can afford better. On an individual basis I don't blame them, but when you import EN MASS, and they all live together in the same area, then the culture of that area changes to the one they are coming from.

People are only mad because of the color of the new immigrants. Don't tell me otherwise because if you do you're full of shit! Immigration numbers per year is around 300,000 and thats even if the PC's are in power. During Covid Canada didn't bring anyone in for obvious reasons. After Covid restrictions we opened immigration back up. Now the PC's are using it as a lets scare the white people in Alberta voting tactic. And of course the unimformed fall for it. California which is one State out of 50 has 40,000,000 people you weirdo's. Don't act like we are the size of PEI.

I am not A Canadian I’m an American, but I interact with lots of Canadians as they find themselves coming down here for one reason to the other and I’m not near the border either. I’m quite far into the US in a major US city.\n\nThere are two types of Canadians that distinct themselves. The first group is the ones that are themselves immigrants that are naturalized. I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. You have people who speak the Ukrainian language Going Back 4 generations)\n\nThen I’m gonna have to use a euphemism that might make peoples hair stand on the back of their neck. I’m gonna call them. The white Canadians has a euphemism. These are people who are going so far back from the British Isles for the most part and the French also speak another language who have no connection to Europe. The English-speaking Canadians who are you from white could walk down or come down to the US and fit right in in a matter of weeks if they’re not already assimilated into the US Culture ( I hope I don’t see any fireworks start coming from this comment) Many of these white Canadians are now more economically disadvantage than the newer Asian and south Asian immigrants and find themselves often times competing for resources with these newer immigrants. Many immigrants more effectively when it comes to investment funds and banking as they formed their own little cocoon communities that don’t interact with the white Canadians.\n\nUnderstandably the white Canadians feel like they’re shut out, unappreciated by the government and now disadvantage and if they raise any protest, they’re called racist and white supremacist. \n\nJust so you know, I am not a white American, but I have an immigrant father from East Asia and I have relatives of my fathers who are also from the same Asian country who immigrated the Canada that I’m in contact with\n\nCulturally when I run into white Canadians, what I noticed is that their diction and speech is so clean clear and polished. It’s almost like they went to a finishing school or a low level class in diplomacy and public speaking many of these people come off like human resource people in the US because their culture is one of accommodation and consideration for other people they know how to be mindful of other people and these are great qualities\n\nYes, the Canadian government is messing up right now and they’re gonna wind up, ruining the social cohesion of their country if they have any and also wasting their human capital

According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. We cannot continue with this.....every time one of these places destabilizes they end up on the CBC waiving their Canadian passports demanding the Canadian government do something to get them out. \n The Author of the video is correct. I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Today, when I go back to the same McDonald's for a cheeseburger every now and then, the entire staff is nothing but Indians) .As a person with an immigrant background, I'm the first one to say that there's a very big problem in Canada, and that current immigration, mainly from India, is no longer for economic reasons but to reunite families.(They do not, and will never, assimilate into Canadian culture.)Now that I've grown up in Canada for almost half my life, I'm already thinking about either returning to France or start over somewhere else if nothing changes.\n\nThe Trudeau government, uncontrolled immigration, dangerous idelogies from extreme far left idea, rising unemployment, and economic misery getting worse every day , gradually pushes me away from the country I love, Oh Canada.

In a way I'm glad that i don't have too many years left on this earth. I cant stand to see what is happening to Canada. We have given it away. You might as well have a direct bridge from India to Canada. They have come here and demanded their way of life with no questions asked. I work in a retail store in Brampton and I have never been more disgusted on the lac of manners and respect. the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

It's a myth that Canada needs massive immigration, especially when Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for everyone. The average Canadians aren't benefiting from immigration, only the corporations, fake colleges and immigration consultants are. It's disgusting the politicians are using desperate immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers for votes.\nThe future are robots and AI for most labour and manufacturing jobs. For example: Even the trucking industry will become self driving.\nIf the federal government stop taxing Canadians too death, and married couples will more children. Old stock Canadians really need to get back to raising children that value traditional families and not chase after careers and money. Put Canadian families first. For those who still think Canada is a huge country and we need massive immigration to keep the economy going. Go ahead lobby the federal government to bring in 10 million migrants from Pakistan and Afghanistan and put 2 million foreigners in each of the 10 provinces, right now. Then don't be shocked when civil war happens. Enough is enough. Canadians need to be like Denmark and Netherlands, who are saying no to massive immigration! Remember refugees and asylum seekers aren't supposed to work until their claims are approved. How many businesses are paying the migrants in cash? It's one thing if the immigration process was well organized and all the immigrates were working and paying taxes. But now the provinces are begging for funding to deal with all the new comers and only Quebec is getting support from the federal government. Most mirgants just come here to try to have a better life but in reality the politicians don't care if they end up on welfare. It's super sad Canadians are dying of drug addictions on the streets and the federal government is still insisting massive immigration is going to keep them in power or solve Canada's failing economy or prop up Canada's pension plan.

Blame Trudeau and Singh all you want and they deserve every insult, however the reason why there are so many immigrants is that large corporations need servile people who will work for less than minimum wage to staff their factories, retail & coffee shops. Every TH where I live in the GTA is staffed by one group of people. Why? Don't blame the immigrants blame person driving a Telsa who demands Buckstars provide their half caff double lattes. We are destroying our social safety net so large battery plants owners can import entire families because we do not have proper trained staff. Here is a thought, maybe not spend tax dollars on businesses that will use tax dollars to bring in more immigrants. Don't tell me about the tax windfall the business will create when we all know they will pay little to no tax.

I don't know.... I live in Montreal and I don't see recent newcomers as poor victims (I'm talking about most immigrants applying for refugee status) . \nWhy? \n1. In order to reach North America , one has to either cross the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean or cross huge chunks of land from Central or South America .... and that's really expensive. In Europe, since the coast of Africa is very close to Europe's , boats full of destitute and desperate people might be the norm. Not in North America. \n2. most of those guys arrive in North America looking for work \n3. most newcomers do possess smart phones and they know how to use them. They have their own network of friends and they're always on the lookout for good opportunities. \n4. most newcomers are very, very mobile. If they're having trouble finding work in Montreal and they need truck drivers somewhere else.... they'll go there . A new hospital needs aid personnel? They'll be there ready for hard work. \nThe positives ? They're probably working , making money and paying taxes. \nThe negative side? They're for the most part economic immigrants. It seems to me like most will have a hard time convincing immigration judges that they are actually refugees (economic refugees? if you will? ). \nMy take ? The way Federal Government deals with immigration should be changed. I believe that if immigrants already work here and are taxpayers... they should have working visas (at least temporarily). \nUndocumented criminal caught in the act of committing a crime? Immediate deportation (and I know this is obviously a lot easier said than done). \nMore airport screening at the entrance and more border security.

This can be a difficult subject . The bottom line is if immigration is done only to achieve votes for one party or another its not good. This is wrong. If the immigrants are legal and not being used for political purposes then this is helpfull . But we should also encourage our own birth rate and maintain a employed productive propers population . Increasing tax revenue to support social welfare medicine and food shelter and protection. A larger employed population will allow taxes to be lower psychologically employed people are productive happy confident . This should be our aim not political agendas. We rejected Jewish immigrants before WWII with disastrous results . We should avoid that mistake to .

My girlfriend has been living in canada illegal for the las 15 yrs. She was deported 10 yrs ago for working with someone else's S.I. N. after immigration was called. Immigration told my company that the only way she was able to stay at my company if they were able to pay her cash. 17 yrs later and she works for the same company for cash. Tax free. I go with her, and others to bodegas in Toronto where they cash all cheques in the back room at the end of the bodegas. No questions asked. The reason Immigration was called was because the S.I.N she was caught with had $10.000 thousand unpaid taxes over the years. And the person that let her use her card for $300 each month needed the card to go on welfare. No one had to pay the taxes. My company today is 90% illegal workers. All in hotels all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga you name it.

Our country is flat out destroyed. Nothing short of an apocalypse will reverse the damage that liberals, woke losers and select immigrants have done. May as well just use your free time watching fail videos and try to get a laugh every now and again, this will keep getting worse. No one is getting kicked out

International students and other immigrants contribute greatly to Canada’s economy. The government knows that that's why they were asking for so many immigrants to come here. How come one minute they had a goal 1.5 million immigrants then the next minute immigrants are the problem? Theyre just using immigrants as a scape goat instead of fixing the housing problem. Immigrants work very hard and pay a lot of taxes and the international students pay 4 times the tuition as Canadians so they are boosting the economy. Maybe the Canadians living on welfare are the ones who should leave because they are not contributing to the country.

I'm South Asian. My sister used to live in Brampton actually before the whole invasion began. Good thing she saw the writing on the wall and left. Sad thing is, many can not differentiate the browns who have immigrated pre 1990 and the ones who have come in post-pandemic. The ones coming in post-pandemic are the village trash, entitled, and snobby. Those people are the very same reasons we left our countries to begin with. It's wild that when we migrated to Canada we see the very same filth and trashy people we experienced decades ago before immigrating here. The worst mistake I have done in my time in Canada was to vote Liberal (for the first time ever) back in 2015 and many of us regret this choice.

He's a fall guy for cheap trucking companies. New immigrants rely on their employment to stay in the country and their employers use that leverage to skirt safety and labour regulations. They'll bribe driving instructors to certify their guys, get them to forge their books so they can drive longer shifts, then wipe their hands clean when one them kills a bus full of kids. \n\nDeport him or not, the people above him need to be held accountable. Canadian born truckers have been complaining about these practices for years, but people love free next day delivery.

Deport my god what happened to Canada. These people only associate with their own and block us out. Come on really housing has gone un afordable. You can find many family's under one roof. Housing is not reachable for young Canadian family's who want a back yard. Housing that was $15,000 or so is $500,000 up to un reachable a crap tear down I seen was $535,000. And you need to build a new house. That use to be around $60,000 to $120,000. Canadian family's don't have a chance to have normal priced housing any more because of over immigrants. The major difference between the white native people and Indian immigrants is the Indians are very much educated, and they don't drink, don't smoke, don't use drugs and keep on studying many more degrees. Education is the edge they have over the local white people. They earn too much, lots of money, buy houses and cars in just one year after immigration.

Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.

I am an Indian ..hoping to get to Canada..I WILL make a political party to FAVOUR POOR homeless Canadians(good ones that doesn't use drugs)...Canadians should be housed then immigrants...and The housing rate should be low

I'd be careful about mentioning an increase in immigration as a source of a problem here without providing any evidence of how that's specifically harmful. \n\nYes, we have an influx in international students - often underinformed young people scouted by private companies in places like India who are gravely mislead on what to expect once arriving in Canada. International students specifically are facing tons of injustice and being used as cash cows by companies and our government, since international tuition is much higher than domestic tuition. \n\nBut right now, skilled immigrants are helping build our cities back up. It takes a lot of people to plan, design and build infrastructure, to repopulate failing systems (cough cough, healthcare), etc. We're in a recession and individual industries are struggling a lot right now - but not because of immigrant workers. In fact, they are picking up slack, taking jobs no one else wants to do, and keeping the gears of our society turning.

Canada sucks. Lived here my whole life. 34 years near Toronto. Here's a list of other stuff not mentioned.\n1) terrible school system. Basically go private or subject your kids to liberal ideology and creative learning which puts math and literacy scores at a 20 year low.\n2) terrible Healthcare system. You can wait in line for 1 hour at a walk in clinic. 6 hours at emergency. There's hardly any doctors working.\n3) terrible transit. The public transit is outdated. The roads are always busy with 3 year long construction projects. I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Being an immigrant myself I have to say that what one might see happening in Brampton happens to another cities as the result of sexual revolution, abortion and the destruction of the family that came to be in Canada since the 70s. I’m a Canadian citizen and married to a Canadian born citizen and we have talked about this many times. In order to recover this country families need to have more autonomy on raising children but also parents have to be more involved. It’s true there’s a lot of Indians everywhere and guess what they tend to keep their values. Here in Canada as per my understanding people used to pray the Our Father in public schools and children used to get bibles, families used to go to church and now? \nThere needs to be a very big swift in policies and others but the biggest swift needs to come from families within.

One word I have learned to despise ... diversity. Not really over used or highlighted in other countries. One doesn't need a house in Canada. You go rent an apartment and you may live. Of course, if you earn 2000.00 to 4000.00 CAD per month. Which is rather difficult for immigrants. Usually, your pay is 10.00 CAD per hour, which gives you 1600.00 CAD per month. Which is way too little for covering your bills. Government instead of building cheap communal blocks of flats is building condos. But the cheapest condominium costs 500K CAD and show me people who can afford it....? You buy and pay monthly rent, yeah 2500.00 4500.00 per month only to cover rent. Plus 186.00 for internet and TV, 30.00 for stationary phone, 45.00 for mobile, 600.00 for monthly food for 2, plus meds, dentist, cabbies, electricity, water, then you add toilette, laundry liquid, toilet paper, towel paper, cat food, dog food, then the bill goes over 6000.00 if you wanna live in the condo. You have always private sector housing where monthly rent is from 900.00 to 2500.00, which depends on the district and quality of the apartment. For the landlord, you must pay monthly and renew lease each year. If you have roaches or bed bags, it's a bigger problem for you. Not every landlord uses paste. They use spray, which is not a roach killer at all, and whole your apartment will stink for months. Private sector has thin ceilings and wooden floors, so loud noise of your neighbour's may disturb your night rest or cigarettes. Smoke may fill up your space. Beware when getting sick. Family doc is unavailable, usually if you have one or at all if you don't.

Our corrupt system allows the elected party to make key decisions. Quite frankly, I think it's wrong, as I know that most of what Turd'O dishes out must be stopped and nobody in another party is able to do anything. I came to Canada as a toddler in 2001 and it was like a dream come true for someone from a poor 3rd world country. But as of 10 years ago, the quality of life as well as the quality of services has just been getting worse and worse. As an immigrant myself, i know i shouldn't be saying this, but we seriously need to put immigration at a halt so that the current inhabitants can pick themselves up.\n-The job market is in a crisis, you can have a Masters Degree and still make less than 50K a year\n-We're facing an economic crisis where the cost of living is higher than what you're making (Low-class & Middle-class)\n-Free Healthcare is no longer worth paying for but we have no choice because majority can't afford to pay for Private.\n-Education level is a joke in comparison to Asia and Europe.\n-Most people are too old to even realize that they're voting for the wrong parties to run the country.\n-Depression rate is higher than ever. Satisfaction of life is plummeting, Suicide rate slowly increasing every year.\n-Public services are becoming more expensive, which once used to be Canada's greatest selling point.\n-No one wants to work the jobs that are available and in demand because immigrants are getting to pick and choose.\n-Properties are being bought out by foreigners thus raising the price for citizens who can't afford to buy anymore.\n-Birth rate and relationship satisfaction is slowly declining giving immigrant families access to Citizen status facilities.

This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately. \n \nDuring the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too. People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc.. \n \nSimultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

I have some questions:\n\n1. Why is this video only showing African immigration when they represent the smaller immigration group. This is disingenuous. Why don’t you show the real immigration stats. \n\n2. The gentleman that spoke about his suffering and not having a stable place, living in his car etc, what is the reason? Why can’t he find employment or can he find employment but it’s not enough to pay for rent? \n\n3. Using the same man as an example, why is he Canadian born suffering (assuming no drugs or mental illness) but there are people who come on student visas, get a job, a house and then bring their 90 yrs old grandma over. Put a $1m insurance policy one her head and then buy an esso.\n\nCanadian is becoming very costly. I am experiencing this too, but while watching this documentary I got the impression it was solely to exploit an narrative. It would be better to make a documentary showing people working, blah blah and still having to go to the food bank because of the rising cost. The only ones a feel sad for that are homeless is my fellow Canadians ! For no fault of their own this Trudeau administration has brought on this sadness and no disrespect to the immigrants that have recently arrived they were used by Trudeau his selfishness was to hopefully used them for votes.
