I read the comments first before watching the video, and the negativity was strong. So I watched the video expecting to hear the Indians sounding terrible and entitled, and instead it's obvious they're just like every other group of immigrants who ever came before them, including those from Europe. The guy at 9:35 got lots of negative comments, but it's clear that he's the typical inspirational immigrant story, coming here, studying and working hard, and eventually achieving his degree, which brings him a better life in a prosperous country, the exact same thing Europeans came to Ellis Island for 100 years ago. And they also created Irish, Italian, Greek, etc. enclaves withing major cities. Also they say Brampton only had 18,000 people 50 years ago, and are upset that now it has 750,000, and all the growth has been from Indians. So then what's the problem? They didn't even displace anyone, they just moved to an area that was previously a small town on the outskirts of Toronto, and is now a major suburb. That growth of suburbs has happened over the last 50 years in every city in North America, from both domestic and immigrant people choosing to settle there. Did you expect a town that close to Toronto to experience zero growth over 50 years?!! While every other suburban area on the continent grows? If so, then you clearly aren't the brightest bulb.

I lived in Malton in the 1980s when the Sikhs arrived. We were naive in our approach to these newcomers. They bought homes and filled them with up to 25 people breaking property standards. They bought the local school and filled the classrooms with cots for new arrivals. Nothing was monitored. Local police worked tirelessly dealing with cultural differences. They demanded rights! I was refused service in one of their stores. Crime went up by 27%, and research revealed that 7% of students in Mississauga were psychopaths from exposure to war and violence! Then, an Indian friend told me that after Ghandi's daughter's assassination, they went from one village after another, robbing and killing in order to get out of India. Thus, the $5000 cookie jar reference. His car was stolen. Working at the birth registry office, he observed they changed their identity and falsified documents. My 13 year old daughter was thrown up against a wall, and a ceremonial knife was put to her throat. Rapes were happening at the high school. I should have called the police many times, and I deeply regret not stopping this intrusion into our Canadian culture. Hazel, the mayor the time at least, stopped the construction of monster homes. Their sense of supremacy was tangible. It's well past the time to deal with unregistered apts, finding true identities and turning to the Indians made victims of the ruthless greed to get the truth.

I live in Brampton. I'm a Punjabi, North Indian. These old farts just want to complain about nothing. They are happy as long as Punjabis are making samosas and working hard labour jobs but oh no no Indians can't be in the government even though they have been living in the Brampton and GTA area for generations they are overlooked as real citizens but now that things have changed social media pages and channels like this have been for the past 3-4 years spreading propaganda about Indians ruining Canada or some stupid shit like that. This video is just highlighting how easy it is to make this divisive content. This is in similar lines to those Instagram reel pages that post every little mistake Indian people do and get recorded and shamed for it online. Other races do the same shit but those pages only post about Indians. Target a specific group, even though all races have people like that. Racism needs a target race, it's like a hate group that's now festering online. I don't see these racists outside, but I know they are there silently judging me sitting in a public place. As for the amount of Immigrants, complain to your government. Actually try to make a change instead of being racist and divisive. This is not a solution, in fact it's the opposite of an actual solution that would work. All I see is Indian people especially in Brampton are hard workers that work 10+ hour shifts for minimum pay living paycheck to paycheck, and they are getting exploited by the companies that are Canadian but no one wants to talk about that, let's just complain about an ethnic group instead. Damn schizos.

Indias work hard in every sector so people see them all the time and they think Indians are going to take over and they are real problem But real problems is Ukraine and refugees from everywhere who get free houses and live on welfare and even they get free dental.They are living on Canadian tax payer money. Don’t know about Canada, but in US, Indians are the richest ethnic groups. Canada does attract lesser skilled Indians. However, pretty sure Indians contribute more than their share of taxes. You guys can keep on hating but all the western countries need Indians as that’s where the population is. And people work hard. They are invited. >99% Indians immigrate legally. They’re abiding by rules laid by these countries. Up to these countries to decide the rules.

I moved here from South America almost 30 years ago and worked to learn the culture and values. When in arrived in Vancouver I was shocked to see so many Chinese people.. it was not my idea of Canada. Then I moved to Toronto and was shocked to see so many Indians. As an immigrant myself I'm against these immigrants that come here and don't learn the culture and have no appreciation for the Canadian way of life. This is 100% a failure of government policy . Trudeau made the situation so much worse.

You know there is a huge difference between the Indian shelter or their church and the shelter for homeless people. They seem to be good working families compared to the drug white addicts. You can blame immigrants all you want, but see your own people lost in drugs and not do anything

I wanna tell you this folks , the reason we Indians get jobs ( which you racist people dont like ) is not because our people are there and they hire us , its because we work hard we do extra shifts , we have skills which employers are looking for . Nothing was said about how fast the houses for these people were built. And who is buying these houses, the few Indians that work? Is the government subsidizing these houses like they do for Timmies or FF places? Can houses for the homeless or young families not be built just as quickly? It is things like this that causes descendion between the current residents and the huge influx of aliens.

Employers choose Indian students over local Canadian students bc they only have to pay them half as much. The other half of their wages are paid by us tax payers through a subsidy program. There's nothing wrong with good honest working people moving to a new country and living and working like the locals. But when you live OFF of the locals tax dollars or cheat the system, it is not going to be healthy for immigrants, Canadians or the economy.

As someone who is born in Canada as an Indian. This is absolutely sad to here. I want the best for Canadians who are born and raised here. I have 10 years of experience working in the nation I was raised and I am having some people have my job who aren't even fit for the job. It makes no sense to me. Our wages have stalled due to international students for a better life, but at the end I want money just like other Canadians who have been here for ages. Also we need to end why our government allows lucrative hiring contracts overseas for cheaper positions in certain degrees and diplomas. In addition, why are all of our call centers placed all over the world. From Africa, south east Asia, South Asia. Those jobs can be available here. We can have a decomcratic country if our country didn't care about just "growth" we didn't need more immigration. We needed systematic change in government, schools, common sense, I could go on. I think us as Canadians don't know how corrupt the world really is. Look at other countries and how they work. It's lucrative essentives to benefit only certain people. I would rather have our tax payer money be used to fix the system. My dad's been here since the 1980s and he is sad for everyone. This is a loss on both ends. We didn't create new universities, new highways to support the population, no hospitals, new schools. I remember when my class sizes were 18 to 20 kids. We need change, not radical because we were never that. Let's do what we do best and be Canadians for us first.

When I legally arrived in Canada with PR, Indian people were all happily telling me how they worked the system to not have a long wait like I did. They are even abusing the spousal visa and getting paid in excess of 50k to marry another Indian person and bring them over.

I am indian but why are people allowed to work on study visa. India does not allow that. You are here to study so do that. Moreover which study gives you time to work. They made the whole system look like circus.

Indian restaurants open up in any available location in Brampton, which now has Indian people in Brampton questioning, "How many different ways can you possibly cook Indian food?" A petition went out online in 2023, in Brampton, that McDonalds wasn't catering to the "Indian Culture". I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc. Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts. This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries. Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

I am an Indian student who has struggled to get my papers done, and I have to say this: mass immigration needs to stop. Canada should allow only people who speak good English and who can truly contribute to this country. I am an IT student, and I worked hard to clear $120K in debt through Scotiabank. I could have taken a loan in my home country, but I chose to work here because Canada gave me everything my own country could not. I am deeply grateful for that. But when I see people from my own community walking around in flip-flops, unable to speak even one word of English, it breaks me inside. Amazing that in a city like Toronto with every different race, only Indian people are working behind every single store counter.

The most dangerous part is that many of them are working as nurses now. I am a nurse and have been training these people from India. To be honest, it is very a hard and frustrating process cos I have to teach them even the most basic skills like taking a blood pressure or covid swab cos they know nothing. Hospitals are hiring them because they believe their “ lmany” years of nursing experience in India. Then I found out that in their country, nursing is only 3 years compared to 4 years in Canada and they do not require a nursing license to work as nurses in India. They come here, go to review centres to pass the licensure exam. And the College of nurses of Ontario allow this! Nursing is stressful enough and we do not have time to teach English and basis nursing. There are still many Canadian nurses I know looking for a job but they don’t even get an invite for an interview because even the HR department are Indians. Seriously, these people need to get investigated.

i’m a farm worker in rural bc who works with indian ladies, i ❤️ them so much. just lovely. my mechanic is a sihk, one of my favorite people ever. indian people helped build bc in the last century and continue to do so, their culture is equal to western culture, i don’t worry that they are here one bit, but immigration from anywhere has to be balanced and fair.

They come not to study but to work and then later on apply for PR. Why do you think Indians are over populated in Canada? they flood the food bank and employment that is no longer available for the Canadian born youth. You dont go aboard studying for a better life in that country. U study abroad to either bring back new knowledge to your country or to full fill a requirements for a job back home.. The most common one is the opportunity to have a degree from a well known school for family braging rights and take over family bussiness. Which bring us back to, studying aboard is strictly for wealthy families no matter where u live . Imagine a candian going to london or europe we would pay just as much plus conversion rate. So for indians like him self, studying aboard paying 8 k cad per course shojdl be impossible. Only a super wealthy family can afford that in india or canada .

Thank you for this report on Brampton. For context, I am a 4th generation Canadian, my ancestors immigrated here a few years prior to confederation in 1867. I have worked in the tool and die industry for decades and many of my associates work for or manage tool and die businesses in Brampton. Everyone in Brampton knows what is changing there. When I try to explain to my friends that what is happening in Brampton is not balanced, they do not understand, they think I am a racist. I told them that my Indian friends in Brampton feel the same way I do. They look at me like a deer in the headlights. Nothing has turned me against a politician so vehemently as Justin Trudeau's management of immigration. The man had no idea how to effectively manage immigration in a way which would integrate people into a culture and society such as Canada. That certainly is not creating a microcosm of one nation in a city.

I'm surprised no liberal voters are calling this dude a "racist" because it involves Indians. He is literally interviewing both sides of this issue. In my opinion, if the liberal government stays in power, and more and more liberal voters use the racism card on people who point out these issues just to make themselves feel like a good person, more and more major cities in Canada will be filled of them who either entered as an international student, or as an asylum seeker. It is not racist to point out how these Indians need to learn to write and speak proper English. It is not racist to point out how they need to adapt to our civilized way of life here in Canada. It is not racist to point out the rise in crime done by people of Indian descent. It is not racist to point out how, coincidentally, the quality in Tim Hortons has dropped lately, when in a majority of them have workers of Indian descent, which are usually in major cities. How so? The liberal-imposed foreign worker plan, plus a little bit of corporate greed. It is not racist to point out that Indian "international students" are getting their food from food banks, which are supposed to be for the poor, and how some places of work only hire Indians, because they are run by Indians. Why is this discussion even about Indians? Because they make up HUGE majority of people coming to live in Canada. Matter of fact, this does not apply to Indians coming to Canada, but to whoever goes to live in another country. It does not take much out of you to at least adapt to the way of life in which ever country you go to. The conservative party sees this in a way that the liberals do not. Come back to this comment in another 10-20 years when the liberals are still in power. You'll see the difference.

I saw it first hand in my workplace. A major delivery company (not Amazon). Used to be mostly Canadians, until about 2 years ago. The majority are now young Indian guys who speak their own language amongst themselves. Even the new manager speaks Hindi. Work conditions have worsened because these people are willing to do much more for low wages. They drive erratically and treat the country like their playground to make money. This is the future of Canada.

There’s definitely an influx of Indians in Brampton that make a mess which needs to change lol but with all that talk about being dirty and living together.. how often have you ever come across a homeless Indian? Do we need less of them? Yes, but do a lot of them also grind their asses off to make it work? Yes. I live in Brampton. One small thing that bugs me is every year at Christmas time the grocery chain Sobey's does not respect this holiday. This woke crap company says "Holiday" and yet all year long put up signs in their stores about "Ed" and "Ramadan". They can't say the word "Christmas" !! Us white Canadians make this company what it is today, NOT these people from India. It's wrong. I really hate these woke companies. And thanks to these ignorant Indian people we are not allowed to do fire works on Canada Day because they had to ruin that for us as well by setting off fire works all the time at all hours of the night during their holidays. Fire works of any kind are now banned.

The original immigrants from India were hard working honest people who appreciated the opportunity to live in Canada. The new Indian immigrants are arrogant , boastful and aggressive. They want to scan and con their way in and game the system for everything they can get.

Indian community, especially Hindus, who are deeply engrossed in superstitions and their religion are known for destroying the native cultures. Even many Indians who are other than Hindus, know their secret agenda but western countries remain completely ignorant and oblivion to Hindu style of working. In India also, they deliberately assigned Hinduism to every tribes, although truth is that many tribes (well known tribe is Jatt/Jat) in India have their own culture and they do not belong to Hinduism or any other known religions of Hindu, Muslim, and Christians. Hinduism is just construction of sanghi brahamins, who destroyed India oldest known dhamm budhism. Intially these so called Hindus show kindness and courtesy to the culture of foreign countries they go. Once they get settled there, starts spreading hate against other relgions and cultures. One day, I am sure that these people make western countries's societies worst than India. You will see the big heaps of garbage and polluted rivers in west. Westerners are destined to be destroyed because of lack of understanding about these people.

the homeless people who would rather starve at the shelter instead are just too racist to go to the gurdwara for free food, or to realise they immigrants are actually kind and hard working. Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. One thing people don't realise is a lot of Canadians are actually really racist. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

White people always cry about things that has no relation with the indian people They don't work and are homeless meanwhile we indians are flourishing in every part of canada , you can rarely see any homeless indian person but almost all homless people in a brown town like brampton are whites That old ugly guy was saying that they(browms) don't work and these(white) people also say that indians have taken over the jobs 😂 Dude we are not going anywhere , i live in Brampton ❤

Indians commit no crime, keep to themselves, and don’t damage public spaces. They’re an ideal immigrant group and for whatever reason people hate them more than groups that do all of those things listed above. I think it’s jealousy because they earn more money than the natives. Harder working people of similar or higher intelligence.

The issue with Canada is that, when Europeans came here, they didn't integrate with native Indians, didn't accept their traditions/lanuages but brought their own European culture/traditions and languages and named it as a Canadian Culture. The reason why Europenas were able to take over the whole Canada and impose English and French language is that European culture was strong, then brown/black/asian people are moved to Canada and they are brought their own culture/languages, but the brown culture really stood up and sustained because their culture was strong like europeans and more of them are still coming. the history is repeating itself because of politicians in power. People on the both sides are not willing to listen the other side, for example, citizens think that international students are creating the a here, doing cash jobs but they don't see that this coutntry that charged them $9k/term tution fees can't even provide them a job forcing them to work illigally and commit crimes, and on the other side Internation students think that citizens hate us because they are brown but big NO citizens are frustrated because they have no jobs and immigrants are not integrating themselves among other communities. Higher unemployment = higher crime = more = higher division among people, ALL THIS IS HAPPENING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS ALLOWING.

Thanks to all the Indians living in Brampton...All are hardworking people. This Canadian economy is surviving because of high education fees charged to International students, money they bring from their home countries ,they work hard in workplaces,hospitals,schools,retail,IT,manufacturing,government etc. ... Otherwise the so called mainstream bankrupt Cauca***n people dont even have money for retirement....Entitled lot dont want to work, they just want to make hateful videos and get attention. While they make such videos, Immigrants are focusing on working hard and getting ahead in life.

I find it a bit disrespectful in Canada to refer to "Them" as "Those indians..." I have actively been working to improve my vernacular. I like the people first approach, so I say "People of Brampton"
