Wherever I go in the city of Windsor, Ontario, the majority of retailers and business owners are now Indian. I don’t see any African Canadians, Asians, or any other cultural backgrounds. Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. And this is why we shouldn’t pay crazy sums of money to foreign universities- it’s a rip off. They can tell you to go back home anytime after pocketing your parent’s life savings. \n\nIt’s easy for them to say go back - what people don’t realize is that if an Indian pays fees in Canadian dollars, they will need at least 15 yrs of earning in Rupees to pay it back. Where it would take only 2-3 yrs in Canada in earn the same amount. \n\nSo basically you ruin your life if you pay fees in CAD and then return to India immediately - you need to stay at least long enough to recover your fees.\n\nAdditionally, Canadian university degrees are not valued in the Indian job market, just the work experience. \nSo best not to pay to study in foreign university if they can’t guarantee 2-3 yrs of work. After that you can always return, it’s actually better.

I'm Indian, been in Canada for over 40 yrs and I think they let in too many immigrants which caused problems with housing/rents and the job market...it was a terrible and nearly irreversible mistake. It's ruined Canada...fortunately most Indians are ok, but still too many newcomers here.

my main issue is with jobs. we barely had enough jobs for all Canadians, now most jobs been taken by indians, whoa re willing to work on low wages, lie on resume with fake experience. i am an IT professional and my field has been flodded by south indians. we need IT jobs for citizens. this indian immgration needs to be stopped immidiately. every other south indian want to work in IT causing wage deggredation. go find jobs in india, stop ruining out Canadian job market. they come with fake resume's. fake certs.

I am from India and been living in Canada for 18 years. I am living here with my family and I am so grateful to this country and respect the country and the freedom I have. The thing is homelessness is a fact that is coming from the most broken families. And here cannabis legal. I could see most white peoples don’t want to go to work, even there is enough work for them. And as a country to grow, they need youngsters for the workforce, but unfortunately Canadians people don’t have enough kids to support the country. And the kids are grown from the broken families maybe ending up in the streets. Indians are most of them only marry once and keep their marriage life till the end. So many divorce can ruin the life too. So the students coming here in Canada, how they get visa, Government don’t know that. As a Canadian its clear that immigration has got out of control. We should be accepting 1/10 of the number of incoming indian immigrants. I understand that many immigrants from India are hardworking and are good people but the behaviour of new indians are creating divisions in our society. You people need to realize that the decades of trust and reputation you have built as a collective is now in a gutter and ruined. My neighborhood has a silent agreement in place that we dont rent or sell to immigrants and we have practically 0 crime.
