Here is a great irony. Cmdr. Shilling has served in the Navy for the last 20 years with honor and pride of country. I cannot see why the idiots in DC are making a big issue of her gender change. Does the fact that she is transgender make her any less of an officer and a pilot? And yet, President Trump (who never served one day in the military) feels that he is right in saying that transgender troops need to be medically discharged from active duty. If you want to see a nation that allows 100% of its population to serve in its military, just look at our friend Israel. Need I say more?

I’ve watched a handful of your vids now and just some honest feedback since you seem pretty chill but you talk about the US like 38 million people don’t live at or below the poverty line and like 26 million people don’t have health insurance; like your food standards aren’t some of the lowest of one of the wealthiest countries in the world; like a child’s life only matters when it’s attached to a woman’s autonomy, but once it’s born even things like gun ownership take precedence over child welfare.\n\nThe people who suffer from these issues the most are probably not people you see all the time because our cities and rural spaces are organized with economic segregation which creates a disparity in tax revenue across different areas, resulting in underfunded public services in low-income neighborhoods, while wealthier areas receive more resources, creating a cycle of inequality and limiting opportunities for residents in poorer communities. \n\nSo honestly it’s great that you are trying to learn more about Canada, but you seem way too comfortable with the state of things. Spending so much money to come illegally what’s wrong to Indian people mind set . I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? She had not gone to school beyond 5th grade and she had no ancestral property, not even a red brick in her ancestral home. \n\nMy mother’s visitor visa was rejected and to this day — I am in my 70s now — it hurts me that she was not present when I received my PhD at Berkeley, one of the top-rated int’l universities. They rejected her visitor visa probably because she had nothing to show as her assets in her application. \n\nBut later. with me getting a job here as a research engineer in a large corporation, my mother visited the US five times. \n\nNot only that, even my older brother and sister in law got a ten-year multiple entry visitor visa when the came for my daughters wedding. \n\nThe point I am trying to make to your mostly upper middle class internationally well connected viewers is that visas are ALWAYS a privilege, never a right, no matter how well placed and well connected in your home country. Tyler, I am sorry for what is happening in your country because I believe there are more great people compared to the “other” that we see creeping out of their holes. Why Indians are applying US visa . India is a great country and so much to see . Great food .

One thing I've noticed is Toronto police have been extremely aggressive and they act like a bunch of mobsters like they're above the Law and can do anything. But Toronto was a great City sad to see it fall from Grace.

I'm reading.\n Some of the comments. I know my opinion may not matter. But it may eh inside some people. I hope I guess the way that I would look at this is being in their shoes. It's completely different than ours. We are given opportunities from birth. Basically to common deer, the life that we would like to have well, at least most of us are. In the United States, people from degrading. Or degraded countries are not giving those opportunities. So I would imagine over the years. As far as healthcare goes the US is a 3rd world country, where, only the rich can afford to see a doctor, or visit a hospital. You have thousands of people living on the streets, with NO help, or concern. The President of the United States has great influence over the United States. If such a president were given legitimate influence, power, and authority over all other countries, that person would be called the President of the World or like maybe, Jesus Christ. Thus, it is a great thing to focus mainly on what we can directly affect and have authority over, as all else might just be a indication of ego and blustering wind. No offense, since I don’t know if you guys drink coffee or not, but You do realize other countries export to the US. Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. There’s so various countries producing great coffee .\n\nThey all export coffee to the US. Unless you ONLY like Colombian coffee this shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure this benefits other countries to expand. Each with distinct flavors and aromas. \n\nStarbucks imports coffee from over 30 different countries from Latin America, Africa, Middle East. \n\nIt’s like if Trump puts a 25% tariff on French wine. I love my French wine and it would suck. But I still love my Italian and Washington State wine.\n\nBananas like mention also come from other countries as well like Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras etc. \nBasically other countries exist that benefit from this. The only problem I could see is they can’t produce enough . Which I doubt. And I’m sure African countries or other countries can under cut prices if others try to inflate prices just to get market share in the US. \n\nAlthough, coffee prices are not only determined by supply and demand. Country of origin and brand also plays a role. Like I said it’s like wine. I love my cheap Washington State Merlots and my Italian Chianti, but people still buy over price California and French wine .

I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have never had a negative experience there in over 49 yrs, other than the old lady backed into my parked suv in the hobby lobby lol parking lot l\n\nA big plus in Canada, is paid Maternity/ paternity leaves and also caregiver leave. Your mom has a stroke or child has cancer you can take time off work to care for them with partial pay and not worry about losing your job

Why do the Indians travel to take other people's jobs when they have such needs in their own home country? Non-tech labor jobs in India are needed greatly. Passport mobility was one of the reasons my parents made their choices in the 1970s and 80s. I made choices in the 2000s that increased my options. My kids and I have three passports plus an overseas Indian citizenship. It would be great to see the Indian passport gain mobility — I have always been surprised by its low rankings over the years.

I am a senior and live in Vancouver, BC and my son who has dual citizenship lives in Seattle, WA. His wife and him will move back to Canada when he retires. I visit Seattle and enjoy going there. The shopping is great fun especially with all the big store headquarters being there and we can't forget Trader Joe's. I don't drink alcohol anymore, but the cost, volume and availability is crazy. He also lived in New York and lived a train ride away to the suburbs (great system) and was a lovely area to raise a family. Visited NYC and loved it. I've lived in Montreal and just love big cities. In saying all that, I think were all basically the same, however I could never permamentally live in the US. I can no longer afford the outrageous travel health insurance to travel to the USA because of my age and health issues. I have a primary doctor and four specialists that I see on a regular basis, waiting for a hip replacement and none has cost me a cent. Oh yes, I get free dental care. I wouldn't move to the states, but would sure like to visit again. Politics is a whole other subject.

As a Canadian, I see the relationship with Trump as very toxic. Not long ago, we detained under house arrest Meng Wanzhou (Huawei exec) at the request of Trump. He used her as a bargaining chip for trade between the US and China. Remember that? Canada had to do it (to show others that we keep our word when it comes to treaties). In the end, he cancelled the request, after several years and 2 Canadians being arrested in retaliation by China. So we degraded OUR relationship with China... and for what? And Mexico's incoming President is far more intelligent, and comes across with much more integrity than Trump ever will. WAKE UP, CANADA, US and MEXICO! I kindly told them reminded that my state existed long before Canada, that he had never signed their constitution and that one day we would be gone. Obviously everything in English, because if I speak English, they well... they know how to say ''hello''. Are you kidding me. Are you not in Canada right now. Canada is now the most poor country in the World. Immigration has gone to the roof. No housing. Rents and forget about buying a house in BC, AB, Quebec, Ontario. High unemployment, Inflation is high and going up more. We also do not have a military defense system and the U.S. is tired of Canada not spending money to meet their responsibility as a Nato country. Many Canadians are leaving the country permanent. Investors and businesses are pulling out. Canada is trillions in debt but keep printing more money (toilet paper). Canada has gone downhill significantly over the past ten years. Born Canadians and legit immigrants having to go through a rigorous immigration process are very unhappy and cause conflict. Besides all the different ethnicities cause unrest and are ungrateful, daring the burn the Canadian flag, uttering death to Canada, death the US and Israel. These trouble makers have not intentions to assimilate into Canada's culture and are disrespectful to the Canadian government and it's citizens. Our youth are very unhappy and do not see a future for themselves yet have to work very hard and pay unbelievable high taxes. The minimum wages are only 15 bucks an hour which cannot sustain life here in this country. Please stop making false promises to foreigners to come here and be disappointed. This is not a country of milk and honey any longer but poor and enormous homelessness. Hunger, terrible health care, incredible post secondary tuitions and books. Now that president Trump has won the election he is going to place tariffs on Canadian goods and rightfully so. Russia is very interested in the Antarctica and should they or anyone invade Canada we got 3 days of ammunition. The food in AB is very bad for your health. Everything has pesticides, hormones, and by the time fruit and vegies arrive here from the US all the nutrition have gone. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. The people of Canada who work and pay highest taxes are used to house these newcomers and education, jobs, food and money. Our government take better care of these illegal people than their own people especially our youth. So please let us not pretend Canada is a land of opportunity and great. We have to vote for the right leader who will have a very difficult time and challenges to overcome if at all possible and make Canada Great Again!
