Went to Canada in 2005 first. Things were so different. Was there just for a year before moving to California for about 9 years. Now back in India and love it here. Glad I enjoyed the good days in Canada and USA when it was really good times there. Even Many parts of Uaa are like this now. UK too is bad choice. I worked for a Canadian school/institute as their admissions advisor for India. But when things were not looking good for their job prospects I honestly told them not to go or wait to get in a better US university. Ofcourse this ethical mindset was causing trouble with my work profile and targets, so I quit. Atleast I won't feel guilty of misguiding hopeful students who were ready to take education loan by keeping their homes or ancestral lands as mortgage. I will advise the new generation to choose any country for education after doing all research, not just by the glossy picture they portray.. or best to stay in India and help our economy grow.. create jobs here. Better to live a life king size here than doing labour work in other countries. Better to be a part of growing India than being a secondary citizen somewhere else. Apna desh apna hota hai.???

few points are absolutely wrong-\nCanada provides one time post graduation work permit(PGWP) only once after completion of study..They never promised to any international students to give PR or Citizenship but Canada gives you time to establish your comprehensive ranking score in order to get the permanent residency but these students who are protesting could not fit in that criteria, Thats why they are looking for the extension in their work permits which makes no sense actually.A fun fact a lot students can't talk in English here bcuz they hardly study or learn some skill. Your language proficiency is one of the main criteria to get jobs and later to get your PR here.\nCanada didnt promise that. So please do not share this wrong information that Canada is deporting people just for no reason. \nA lot of froudulent cases came in limelight, For example some students produced fake documents and chose non recognized college for studies, Hence they are being deported. \nCanada,UK and Germany.. they all have line ups for patients becsuse its free and people go to emergency for small small things. And other Canadian cities could stop collecting garbage all the time and not fix their roads because many people can't afford to pay their property taxes due to high employment. The globalists want 15 minutes cities. The federal government is assuming massive immigration will solve Canada's aging population. It won't. Health care is actually better in 2nd and 3rd countries if you have the money. Even if your home country is at war, it's still better than the drug crisis in the major cities of Canada. No joke. Now, does everyone get it? Canada can not afford to pay for any social programs, even with taxing the middle class to death. This isn't about racism or blaming any mirgants it's about corrupt dishonest politicians who will increase the number of children living in poverty. Canada is the worst place to immigrate to! Punjabis in foreign are very anti-India, yet they retain their OCI cards. Why do these Angrez- Sikhs have a say in Indian politics when they have become nationals of other countries like Canada, the UK, and the USA? I don't see Gujarati or other Indian communities that have settled abroad, become so anti-Indian. Only the Punjabi think it is only their issues that matter and need publicity. Canada feels like its becoming like Great Britain, an absoulte nightmare to live and have any hope! I thought about coming to beautiful Canada as had fond memories back in 2004 but it seems like most things after 2008 crash most countries are becoming a nightmare to have a decent lifestyle! Im looking at Australia for a country that offers a decent wage and lifestyle! Only problem is on the other side of the Planet from my connections! Don't move to the UK as its becoming an absoulte nightmare to live and have a basic lifestyle especially in London!

I migrated from the UK and really, things aren't much better at home. That's why i'm sticking it out. London rents are equivalent to Toronto, with a similar average salary. UK taxes also look ok on paper, but wheny you include the hidden stuff it's just as bad as canada. Healthcare also going down the gutter. The only positive the UK has over canada is food is much cheaper and if you are able to work from home, you can live away from big cities and pay much less rent. This huge difference between big cities and towns in the UK doesn't seem to be as noticeable in Canada. For an entire 3 bed house with a garden in the north of england, you could get one for $1000/month easy. But there are no job opportunities there at all, so it really is only for WFHers. But I think these issues are sweeping most of the western world... our economic models are built on infinite growth and can't deal with aging populations with an increasing tax burden.

I was staying with friend/relative and believe me the 'Health Care' crisis is the same in all, the 'inflation' crisis is the same in all, the 'housing crisis' is the same in all. So before you go downer on my country..........make sure you do your homework and look at other countries. There is a similar trend in most 'top' countries. The UK, France, USA, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and most of the EU is a mess and also has it problems!

I have lived in canada my whole life. \nHere are the main hurdles:\n1. Cost of realestate and cost of living. You need white collar wages just to be able to rent, not buy, rent an apartment in most major cities. Cost of homes is insane as well.\n2. Jobs often pay low wages below what is needed to afford to live unless its white collar or trades working overtime hours. The jobs that do pay well often get hundreds of applications making your chances lower.\n3. Dentists cost an arm and a leg. The cost of it is insane unless you have a really good coverage plan from your job. \n4. Healthcare moves at a snails pace. Not good if you have a serious illness or disease.\n5. The climate overall sucks. Its not cold. Its ridiculously cold.\n\nMy advice: Be made of money. \nSeriously though, have a huge savings and have a long term financial plan. Getting jobs that pay a living wage here as newcomers here are HARD to get because they always want Canadian work experience. University education from other countries other than the US, UK, or Australia don't count here. Be prepared to live very humbly unless you are just made of money.\n\nI dont even want to live in canada anymore. I am almost 40 and have very little to show for it despite working full time jobs with overtime my whole life. Looking at going almost anywhere but here. The housing crisis and cost of living are the dealbreakers for me. You shouldnt need to be making $75k/year just to afford to RENT a decent apartment. Theres something wrong here.

Ah this makes me so sad that actual Canadians are leaving their home country. But actually the same is to be said for me. I'm British living in the UK and we are looking to move to Malaysia. Mostly for the sunshine, the culture, my husband is Chinese and there's a big Chinese community there, I'm half Indian and there's a huge Indian community there also. Actually and of course you already know that Malaysia is a Muslim country so I think Malaysia would be a great fit, plus erm hello the weather ????I can't wait to leave cold, wet, grey UK! I would love to know why immigration here is always about Indian immigrants what about the rest of us so sick and tired of this! been here 20 years and didnt take the citizenship for a long time as a UK english speaking permenent resident I was required to take an english class that I would be forced to pay for maybe they should look at some of the ridiculous rules to apply to change from a PR to Citizen! not to mention the really high cost of applying is ridiculous after you have been paying taxes ever stop to think the system is broken?
