Canadian here; Trudeau spent the last decade ruining Canada, destroying peoples quality of life, flooding the country with cheap labour & being compromised by rival nations. Judge a person not by what they say, but what they have done.

This is just a sampling of what happens when you elect an official do the highest office in the land while this individual Donald Trump is Holden s official position as dog catcher is out of his ability. The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post. I would like anybody who thinks that this is a far-fetched idea ,all I ask is that if you disagree with the finding that it should be legal with age restrictions if you disagree I would like to hear a solution that you have in mind that you think is better than the Cato Institute finding. I am under the impression that you do not have anything that remotely resembles a solution to this terrible problem. Right off the bat, with uality control, you'll stop hundreds of thousands of deaths. All of the issues that are being dealt with are just so screwed up because we've already been through this before. After making a constitutional amendment to ban the manufacturing of alcohol it was reversed and I hope that the country realize that we cannot win this battle with the same mindset. The only reason why fentanyl is such a dangerous intoxicant is because there's no quality control. Also the cartels are not affected negatively \nBy allowing the government deal with this problem. the end result would be not only do you save lives but you also have put a very negative Spike through their heart of the cartel in the pocketbook. Canadian government has made Canadians paralyzed for decades with high tax rates, made worst business decisions emptied citizens pockets to fill outsiders and their own. Canada's primary issue is that it is becoming India lite, that is why quality of life is going down. Fix that problem and everything else will improve.

Japan has shown that stagnation is fine they have had 30 year of it and they are still living one of the highest qualities of life. Canada and Australia have gone done the mass immigration route and now the young are screwed and our cultures have changed for the worst forever.

American GDP per capita is lopsided by tech giants that bring money from all over the world but employ small numbers compared to other industries. Take that out its just Russia. If the USA doctors charged 200k for surgey, the gdp went up 200k but the patient is now bankrupt. \n\nCanada messed up with immigration and handing out study permits. There was never a need for low skills foreign workers and diplomas that taught zero skills to international students. It has problems though Canada seems overall a much nicer country than America.\n\nI think after say you reach a gdp of 30k per capita, maybe more gdp per capita alone doesn't improve your quality of life that much.\n\nThings like low crime, social services, etc seem to be much more important.

I am sorry to hear this, but I can understand. As far as our quality of life is, its gone down since the 90s, more noticeably since around 2012 to 15 imco.\nI am 63, lived here all my life. Maybe a visit someday?

really sorry for you for choosing Canada... but a little advice before moving to another country, did you find out about the quality of life beforehand? here in Quebec and Ontario there are so many diverse communities that your integration could be easier!!

I am born and raised in NYC. In Queens many businesses are now suffering with lack of staff and the owners or their family members are now doing the work they’ve been paying immigrants that don’t have their paperwork together to do. It is sad so many people trying to start over and get treated poorly! As a community member it is also annoying having to wait much longer for food or the quality of atmosphere lacking now etc I know something needed to be done in regards to the immigration issue but at the same time it sucks to realize just how many people were being taken advantage of in ALL the local businesses smh. It is definitely a catch 22!

My father was an American, I would never move to the USA . I used to enjoy to visit. However I find today that it is too dangerous. I married an American Officer and lived in the states. I was abused by my husband and had to run for my life. I asked for help from American agencies. I got no help and had to run back to Canada for safety. Plus quality of life in America was less then Canada offers women. America is nice place to visit not a good place live.

I fully understand and agree with why countries deny Indians visas. One in-service transition surgery is 150k. The monthly wage of a fresh boot marine earns is just under 1.8k a month. A Navy commander ears 6.75k per month just to put that into prespective. Without taking the 36 months of follow up treatment into account in the cost you could have 2 Navy Commanders educated and put into service for the same money as just one transition surgery. Or have a squad of Marines paid for a whole year. The US militairy has a proven track reccord of getting quality personnel in the right place, and it did that long before you had to slice your penis off to fit the promotion criterea. \n\nThe defence departments job is the defence of the nation, not the defence of your personal insecurities, let alone having taxpayers fund said insecurities. India should not get into direct confrontation or discussions for such petty matters specially with Americans, UK, Germany, France, China, Japan, Russia, Oman, Saudi Arabia. I've lived in Delhi x 2 months. Food poisoning, unsanitary, horrible air quality, open religion hatred, rape and murder are common. The small minority of economic secure people are few. That's how you get the deals you desire.\n\n5. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects you from discrimination by age, sex, race, etc. DEI openly violates this. Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

People move to Canada is acute unemployment in India and low quality of life in India.

I almost moved to the US with my parents when I was a kid but was crying because I didn’t want to go. I am so glad that we didn’t move there. We don’t want to go there for many reasons, free healthcare, a good education system because we pay our teachers well and have good quality teachers, we don’t carry guns and don’t want them, thereby our streets are safer. We don’t have mass murders, school killings and all that fear. We don’t have the racial and ethnic prejudice that there is in the US. I have travelled a lot for my company and personal to the US. I was scared and didn’t feel comfortable at all. We know so much more about US geography and history and the US knows nothing about us. Complete ignorance. Well I have no plans to ever visit again. I love our people, our freedom and our culture. We are nothing like the Americans (sorry). I am staying in my beautiful country! I feel safe and happy here! We don’t want the American dream, we are living the Canadian dream!

I haven't bought, anything American since 2015. The few things they make that's not oil very low quality, doesn't last long and was already expensive for no reason.

It would be great if they have less children so it would increase the quality of living for the poor kids. Too many children and not enough food, clothers, education and so on.

Only US thing i consume are digital services.
