Well, categorizing Indians negatively unfortunately impacts South Indian's as well, who are in general law complying, respectful and well behaved. I do not want to divide Indians, but let's accept the fact that most of the problems created in Canada or many other countries, are in general people coming from North India. I urge people from North India to be more respectful, adaptable and complying, as it causes general bad impression for all.

Trump is 1000% right. I say this as a Canadian. Mexico is dumping Honduran and Venezuelans from the south and East Indians are entering from the north. When they realize how expensive it is in Canada many will try and cross illegally. Trudeau accepted way too many migrants and there are no homes for all of them

Are Mexicans, Americans...?\nHow about Mexican-American, are they Americans?\nWhat about Chicanos, or American Mexican-American, are they American? Mind you, they were in coastal western north America before the indians were there, and they are of European origin.\nThat brings another question: are American Indians, American, or are they Indians?\nWhat about 'People of Colour' are they American?\nAnd finally, are low class poor white people, American?\nPotpouri gallore...

The problem with here is also with Khalistan issue (of course not all Punjabis there want Khalistan and are absolutely chill people and people here in India, Punjabis, also don't want Khalistan, I have some close friends who are Sikh and are most Dildaar, Big-hearted, people I know). A lot of extremist groups which want, Khalistan ARE supported and protected by the Canadian government especially by Justin Trudeau and these people are committing nothing but violence and terrorism in the name of free speech. Indian government has issued many extradition requests, but the Trudeau government has done nothing about it and has protected these extremists. Over the years Indian government has warned Canadian government about this issue constantly and after years of housing these Canadian terrorists (because Canada calls them their citizens and protects them, what else can be the correct term for them and nothing like Khalistan exists) they've started to cause problems for the people already living there (like the terrorists Pakistan was housing are causing problems to them). They know they are not gonna get a Khalistan in India so where else are they gonna build it? Voila! Canada! This is the reason behind them not assimilating with the existing culture.Trudeau has even gone to lengths of calling Amit Shah (Home minister of India) and PM Modi (if you don't know what the heck are you doing here go study geopolitics a bit) unalivers of Hardeepsingh Nijjar WITHOUT any evidence (they just keep saying they have it but have shown nothing till now) and because of which Canada has worsened its relations with the Indian Government. They are even comparing India with the likes of North Korea in terms of threat. Indian Government in reply is giving Canada the same treatment it gives to Pakistan (a bit better of course, but the diplomacy has gone to sh it. And the reason why Trudeau is doing all this, yeah VOTES for sh itty domestic politics he's sacrificing long term GOOD relations with the Indian Government. Now, you may think that worsening relations with India is a good thing for Canada, yeah no, its not good because India has trade relations with Canada which may worsen due to this (yeah, great going for an economy which is already in shambles) and UK or US are not gonna do anything to India over Canada because India geopolitically has more significance than Canada (I'm not bragging, please don't misunderstand). This rant has gone to a very different tangent but yeah a lot of problems Canada is having is mainly due to their government. Any of Canadian friends (I have not reason to hate you) and Punjabi brothers/sisters (Yeah, unless you are some sh itty extremist you are a brother/sister to me) please don't take this offensively. When she started with 'we need to take our country' back, I began to think she meant Mexican-Americans need to take back their country that was originally part of Mexico but was taken from them by the United States. eg Texas and other border states. Isn't that what the immigration north is all about? Taking back country? Of course the people who should really have the right to take back their country are the Indian Nations. Let's face it, we won't be flocking to these countries in hordes if Europeans hadn't already made these countries financially strong. After all, how many Indians go to , say, Vietnam and learn Vietnamese, or go to congo to learn swahili. \n\nYes , I'm aware that Indians were all over the world even before colonization, but I'm speaking specifically about the North American countries .\n\nThat said, kudos to Ashwin for shutting up the hag.

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!\nAlso, reading from comments, I notice that many here have NEVER alert their own country!!! Stop blaming foreigners if YOU, YOURSELF DID NOT even get the BALLS to dare studying in places different than yours (like Germany, France, Sweden, Japan…)!!!! She is right. Being an Indian I have faced discrimination in Maharashtra originating from Uttar Pradesh. My fellow north east friends face discrimination everyday across India. \nWe Indians ourselves are the most discriminating people.

guys chill. i'm indian. there was fever of going to north america during 2000-2018. when in college many students harboured that ambition. now no more. with explosion of internet in india after Jio advent, we see how life is not so glossy in west. ( i love western ppl.) but we dont want to go to those countries who cant decide who is male or female. indian maybe dirty n poor. but 3 decades later, it will be first world country.(whatever the Fck that term means).

India is too late. Its livable areas have shrunk over millennials due to islamic invasions. Funfact : south Indians especially from Kerala avoid these Punjabi settlements. Punjabis are from North. Majority of them follow Silkh religion which can be identified by the head cover. They own huge farm lands back in the fertile Indus river plains of India Pak border and the parents sell it so their young ones can find a job and settle in Western countries. But they don't behave properly. Rash driving, littering etc is still followed. Canada should be stricter to them. Love from India.❤

YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Long story short. It's NORTH INDIANS (PUNJABIS 90% MAINLY) who has spoiled it all. Don't say INDIANS in general.

Good for north America. The amount of he Indian illegals in Canada is insane, they changed the demographics of Canada. They deficate in the streets, open containers in markets eat the content and throw away the packages without paying, drive like crazy, follow women...etc . The indian culture cannot be accepted in the west.

From my observations, Indians who have been in North America for decades behave well better than new comers.
