I don’t know, but when I come to USA from car or plane, I have to pass US Customs at the borders or airports, so how can US authorities can say that the Canadians let pass drugs or other illégale substances when its the US border are the ones that control what’s going in the US.

Canadian here. Wake up Canadians. Many people are praising Trudeau for this speech. Don't. He is out as Liberal leader within the week. He doesn't have to follow through on anything he said. Plus, he just stated that he's smart enough to suggest that Trump just put a 25% tax on Canadian goods for Americans but he also thinks that you are dumb enough not to realize that he just put a 25% tax on Canadians for American goods. Trudeau basically created the situation for these tariffs (open border to let anyone come here). He loves this as he gets to take the apparent moral high ground for the first time in his life and wants this speech to be the way he is remembered rather than years of failing Canada. President Trump can forgive Zelenskyy, but he should NEVER forgive Justin Trudeau, he’s the one who opened up the Northern Border and let all these millions of Illegal Indian nationals to the country! CNN, why are you not calling out Trump's lies? In 2024, less than two tenths of one percent of fentanyl entering the US in 2024 crossed the US-Canadian border. This was NEVER about fentanyl. This is about Trump financing his billionaire tax cuts buy imposing huge sales taxes on American consumers. It's a stealth tax increase tha.t is targeted at low and middle income Americans. They suppy the mexican cartels these drugs to make and sell which comes across Mexican borders into the US. If china regulated the precursor drugs it could stop fentanyl manufacturing in its tracks.
