When Trump wanted to put tarrifs on Canada you were gone to Portugal apart of making a deal with the guy. So Trudeau calls Putin a liar and a murderous dictator but we all remember a few years ago, the same PM declaring is admiration for China's dictatorship. On a trip in Europe he even downgraded is own people while trying to suck up to the Germans. A few years ago Trudeau said that Canadians didn't really have an identity and announced that he wished to make Canada the first post national country in history. I'm sorry guys, I do not like the tariffs but I just cannot stand this guy!

I am not a fan of PM Trudeau but on this occasion, I'm willing to flipflop. Oh, my goodness, it's so refreshing to hear a country leader speak a coherent sentence, a coherent thought structure, zero vanity tripping, berating opponents, finger-wagging, screeching accusations, tantrums. And then in a second language!!! Just because I'm not one of HIS fans, I am however a massive fan of Canada. I support Canada in this situation 100%. The significance that PM Trudeau addressed him as Donald go over so many heads. It is greatly appreciated that the PM also acknowledged that Americans will be hurt by this as well, especially those of us who didn’t vote for Trump.

PM Trudeau is an example to follow and surely makes all Canadians proud for his reply to Donald Trump. I am European but also a big fan of the US; it is such a shame to see the light of the democracy fading away in a country which was once considered as one of the most consolidated world democracy.
