Tariffs are just a fancy government word for interest and as long as those interests are aligned and in favor for Democrats tariffs are okay but when they're not all of a sudden they're not okay again.

If Canada didn't have tariffs on American goods, Trump wouldn't have placed any reciprocal tariffs on Canada.
