As an Australian I am so proud of Canada my second favourite country -- well done. I'm not buying anything American and certainly won't travel there. Direct flights from Brisbane to Vancouver mean I don't even have to go over the US.

From Aussie land here, that was an excellent speech you should be proud Canada. We luv you guys, its great to see your country stand together total respect. Stay strong for your country

I have always been a proud American citizen. My paternal side of my family has been traced back to the Mayflower and I have ancestors and family that have served in the Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, WWl, WWll, Vietnam, the Gulf, and Afghanistan. This country has made many mistakes and has had much shame throughout its existence for various things but this is the first time and U.S. president has turned his back on our friends and allies in favor of an evil authoritarian leader named Vladimir Putin who strokes his massive ego and gives him elusions of power and respect from Putin when in reality Putin is playing Trump like a fiddle. The New York Times was not right. Donald Trump is not a bright guy. I stand strongly with my friends in Canada ??.

I'm European and I am so proud about Mr. Trudeau and his team. What an intelligent people. The speech is simple to understand but together it is so strong and says all that matters. Applause. 20-40 years ago US was seen as a dream country here in EU, every east European dreamed to live there, but not anymore. Today most would not go to US to live even if they are payed to do so. US reputation is in historical downfall.

As an American im proud of trump standing up for us and no longer allowong us to get taken advantage of. Countries are mad that they have to pay more instead, of expecting us to pay for them. As a patriotic proud Canadian. This goes to show Canada what time it really is. It's time to develop our nuclear weapons systems. We have a right to defend ourselves like the USA and all other countries who have nuclear weapons to defend themselves.  Canada being the first country to build a nuclear reactor in the 1950s , it's time we take our defense for our nation,as it shows we cannot trust our neighbor. I'm Canadian. And in my 50s. We've always tended to joke back and forth about stereotypes from our countries. I've always felt we looked up to American ideals ideas and this is why we felt strong to stand with America with many things. I've sometimes not been happy with our Prime Minister but he left a mark, and I'm proud our country is more united but I'm sad at what cost. I hope this is short lived.. I just watch mr trump speak with regards to tariff impose on canada mexico and china..he's proud in saying that a lot of foriegn companies will soon build factories and offices in the US. Providing billions of jobs and revenue. He said that if these companies would come to the United States where will be no tariff, lower taxes and easy life for the Americans. My question is: is he trying to kill other countries??
