To the Americans who are outraged by Trump, you need to stand up and truly fight like the MAGAts did when they stormed the capital on Jan 6th. If you really have a problem with whats going on you need to take a stand and make a difference. If you just sit back then you are allowing it to go on. Sorry if thats unfair to say but we're living in a time where your Leader is going to only get worse and worse and start a World War if he isnt stopped and held accountable. This level of Terrorism against Canada, Greenland, Palestine, Ukraine, Mexico, Japan and China CANNOT go unpunished. Throughout history if this happened 20+ years ago this would have NEVER happened because people would stand up against oppressors and dictators. Its time to do just that.

I believe trump needs to force the colonists currently resisting in stolen land, to pony up the $5milly to MY PEOPLE. THE FIRST PEOPLE.

We have a president who cares abour the economic state of our country and the morale of its blue collar worker. Our country has been ripped off by people abroad and internally. This is pressure on all governments we do business with for equal trade. We are forcing countries to become more self reliant. Each country needs to become the greatest version of itself unfettered by people dictating laws that enrich themselves at the behest of its citizens. Trump appeasing Putin is a chess move, that the PM seems to be overlooking. The US can't afford to go to war with Russia, but at the same time, it needs resources within Russia's neighboring region. So the US will do what they always do, and had people listened to what Kissinger had to say, they'd be better prepared for this. As an American, I stand with Canada. I am worried, but someone needs to stand up to Trump. I am sorry that it is not the US. So many people still support him and I just don’t understand it.

Every leader is playing into trumps hands!! People everywhere do not understand narcissistic personality disorder. By every leader, media reports talking about him phoning him pleading with him is all fuel!!!!This also tells his narcissism everyone is under control!! This makes him feel powerful! Society really needs to learn about narcissists. This situation calls for leaders to ignore him do not call him media needs to drop stories!! I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. I believe that the ultimate wet dream of Trump is to have a bigger nation ie. performing hostile takeovers of neighboring countries and of strategic importance for him (Greenland, Canada, Panama Canal and others). For that to function, he has agreed with his best buddy Putin to allow him his share of the Europian countries. China will probable be on the same hostile takeover trip all over the pacific as well. He and Putin think that they will loose out against China otherwise. What the poor man doesn't realise is that the community of the UN were and are the best deterence against China. His willingness to break that up will actually lead to a very big world dominating conflict. As a South African, I want to say that this trade war, as well as the hostile approach of Trump towards Canada, is devastating. If one were not experiencing it directly, it would be almost impossible to believe. This is such a remarkable speech that it will go down in history as one of the truly great speeches in times of crisis. It is entirely correct to address the American and Canadian peoples directly, as the Prime Minister has done. They are both clear victims of this madness, Americans misled, and Canadians the target, of this senseless trade war. If one reads History, there is another dimension to this, and I hate to say it. Canadians have to prepare themselves for worse. These types of antics by the aggressor usually involve, finger pointing, contrived border incidents, plausibly deniable incursions and other actions, by the aggressor, which one can find if the preludes to the WW1 and WW2 are studied. I am not sure if you have porcupines in Canada, but you need to rapidly become one.

Canadian government has made Canadians paralyzed for decades with high tax rates, made worst business decisions emptied citizens pockets to fill outsiders and their own. Instead of making Canadians rich you have made us poor. I don't disagree to standup for yourself but our foundation is the weakest. @robertedward7023 It can but I think Trump is right on this one. Zelensky needs to realize that he won't get his land back that Russia took, and that negotiating is the only way to come to peace now. He's living in a fairytale world fighting an unwinnable war. I think the US is right to pull the plug on financial aid to try to pressure Zelensky to negotiate to end the war. Unfortunately, to end the war Ukraine will likely have to concede the land they lost. But the reality is Putin will never give that land back. But it's better than more people dying everyday. Zelensky has gotten all too comfortable relying on financial aid and as a result he hasn't been willing to try anything new (like negotiate) to get this war finished. If we keep sending him money, nothing will change. Now he has pressure to negotiate. the US and Canada can't keep sending money to Ukraine for the next 20 years while this war carries on.

Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs.
